- In this video we show how we restored an old stable to a workshop. Our friends agreed to help us with this. First, they used hammer drills to remove all the plaster.
After that, they raised the ceiling and bricked up the free space with blocks. At the same time, the partition walls were dismantled and the old doors were removed.For daylight, it was decided to make a large window.
A lot of work has been done. Look very interesting.

Nice job! Though I would of put a vapor barrier between the insulation and the ceiling 🤔 moisture will cause discoloration of the ceiling tiles in my experience with projects that skip this step.

Stone and concrete has an R-value of 1 per inch (25.4mm)......those WALLS look to be about 1foot thick R-value of 12....... should be at a "minimum" R-value of 19. The radiant floor heating and insulated ceiling will help a lot depending on the location, but overall it is still inadequate.. great transformation, amazing workshop.
