I think any project is a work of love. I would have approached this differently--- but I know you needed a RUclips presentation.
I had an oak chair that I left outside for many years in the sun. The aesthetics was important.
I also had a walnut log milled back in the day. The planks sat in a pile for many years. I now have plans, as an old master designer/craftsman, to build something truly worth my limited time. I will leave some of the old surfaces, and some fresh--- so that my daughter can know how much I loved her. ❤
Time is short. Treasures exceed $$ and fame.

@@CreativeIdeasMakerI didn’t mean any disrespect to your repair. It looked great, and is now useful again. I just really like the look of the weathered, rustic wood.
I built a home when I was younger and it had exposed beams in the living room. I sand blasted them deeply and white washed them. I just love the look of weathered wood.

Hi! Your channel has quickly risen up on my Favorites list!! I just love to watch your videos. They are so entertaining. The work that you do is excellent, and your video editing skills are top notch. That was a nice bench that you made when you were 13, but now it is MUCH nicer. It is so beautiful. I really like how you used as much of the original wood as possible. Your repairs were amazing! This bench will last a very long time. Enjoy it!

@@billykulim5202 By the way, with the help of a drill and a drill suitable for wooden pins, you can drill them and repair them. It depends on what technique you use. Thank you for watching this restoration
