    Brilliant Russell. I do feel a stiffness in my lower back when practicing this move

    Hardest thing to solve is the correct hip movement. Sounds simple, looks simple but is very hard to incorporate into swing.

    Quick question- does lack of tilt or hip depth in downswing result in topping?

      Good question. I am wondering though if your question is for all clubs or specifically driver.

    I just discovered last week , my down swing everyone turned together, comes over the top 10-12 out to in on trackman, cause shanks. I started doing the tilt and right leg drive and it changed my whole downswing instantly cut my swing path in half . Mike bender and a good drill with a pool noodle

      What do you mean by right leg drive? I've just searched this and can't find a reference to it

    My thought is always feel like I want to 'hit' the ball with my right shoulder. Also it seems Dustin Johnson swing is a good example.

    I'm sorry, I don't quite get what you mean by "vertical plane"... What is that exactly? How is it vertical (up and down)?

    When I focus on tilt I find my lower back starts to hurt 😞

    that bend is near impossible and most likely dangerous for most folks in middle age the pros all do it and lots have bad backs why you guys keep teaching everyone to do it I think it
    is a mistake and some hybred of it that is near as good needs incorporated.

    The most mixed up confusing explanation I have come across. Vertical and horizontal were misrepresented. Sorry Russell, I have been watching you for some time now. That was impossible to decipher! Oh and just so you you, I love you r golf swing…. Surely, if you are tilting, that is vertical?

    • @cd66061
      @cd66061 Год назад

      I think he means vertical and horizontal in relation to the swing plane. I’m no expert, by any stretch, but it seemed to make sense to me, for example when the arms move out rather than down, then the swing will become vertical to get club head back down to the ball. Like I said, I’m only saying that’s how I interpreted it, and in doing so, made perfect sense to me. I actually found this video really helpful for my next session.
