- I think this a great 1980s video. I smoothed out the interlacing and up-rezzed it for you. Enjoy!
No rights claimed... except the right to wear sunglasses at night!
I get no money from this, feel free to skip any ads.
From a time when bands had their own "sound" versus the crap today. The 80's were the best...glad I was there to live it!!!
You're just an old man with zero clue what music is produced today
@@lockandloadlikehell I’m a young man that agrees with that old man’s statement, new shit sucks

Warren D"Martini the most underrated guitarist of all time. Love Ratt.
Warren’s great and certainly under appreciated. But Robbin Crosby is overlooked way more than Warren. Crosby wrote a lot more than Warren on the EP and first two albums and does not get the credit he deserves as a song writer and guitar player. Still, this is my favorite 80s guitar duo from one of my all-time favorite bands.
"Demartini Burns"....🎸
Except he's not underrated lol ... He's just out now :(
@@Toddzilla1967rest in power king Robbin Crosby
One of the great hard rock anthems of the 80s. Stephen Pearcy had one the most unique voices of that genre.
DeMartni and Crosby unreal tandem.
This peaked at #59 on Billboard in March 1987. It's WAY better than that. One of the most kick ass rock songs of the 80s.
Absolutely
High Energy Jam for Sure...
Completely agree!
That intro solo from Warren, it's just pure class!
Round...peaked @ #12 in 1984. Lay it down #40 1985. Dance #59 1986 like you said. IMHO, these songs should have been bigger than they were. Radio play and the Rock Charts had them higher but the singles charts something else. I owned these songs on 45 back then as a teenager. And the full albums on cassette. I can easily think of songs that didn't deserve to chart higher than RATT. They were one of the most popular bands in the 1980's, next to Crue, Van Halen, Aerosmith, Poison, Bon Jovi, Cinderella. Platinum selling in the 1980's. Great time for RnR. The 90's and grunge were horrible in hindsight. Every "Grunge" release should have come with razor blades; very depressing music. But that's a rant for another day...
I started listening to ratt in 1984,and in 2024" I am still jamming to ratt.thanks U Tube for the music.
You no your music my friend
I appreciate damn good music,I jam all the time.@@carldavis6711

The soundtrack to my youth.
Thank you Ratt.
Yup, and your avatar rocks!

@@80sHeavymetalchick9 i was born mid 70s, so I was a teen during the heyday of hair/metal. Loved growing up and being in middle/high school during that time (trapper keepers) - playing Ratt, White Lion, Cinderella, Warrant, etc... on my big ol' yellow sony sports walkman. Can we go back to that time...for just a little while?
Nothing today even comes close to 80's metal

You are damn right!
I am 21 years old and I love 80's rock and today's rock is worse than it used to be
I was so glad to be a teenager in the 80's we had the greatest music of all time sware to God we did
yes we did
You were so lucky! I’m jealous but hey i wanna keep this stuff alive!
The music was 99% positive vibes ! Special times.
The GREATEST time in the history of rock.
And it was even great being 22, I got to see all the major New York City bands on the circuit Twisted Sister White Lion etc, Vito Bratta, was part of our crowd back in the late seventies early eighties on Staten Island and Brooklyn, Lamours in Brooklyn was the place to be if you loved this music, very true, all melodic rock not like the trash today for the most part, and no musician will ever top the technical solos and talent of that day, wish I had a time machine, PS the drinking age was 18 then LOL, not like it mattered to us👍👍
My teenager daughter has this blasting in her room before school especially Wanted Man...I think the guitar solo entrance for Lay it Down is her ringtone
We owe it to our kids to keep this music era alive, it’s so awesome
FLA-TEXAN I'm a Texan sir we old folks are loving it .we did then and now .lollllllll were old and love metal .why's that somehow sound wrong ? Who cares it still rocks .you've raised your daughter right .
Thats SO BADASS MY 19 YR OLD HAS BRETT MICHAELS SKULL CAP HE WORE AT CONNEAUT LAKE PARK SHOW HE THREW IT TO HER
If your daughter flexes songs that are from 1984, you did something right.
Thats awesome! I was born in 80 and feel i missed it... too young to appreciate it
I was 24 years old when this came out it Kicked ass then And kicks ass even more now and God-bless your daughter for carrying on Ratt and roll🎸🥁🤟
I hear people criticize the 80s. Padded shoulder pads. Big hair. "Greed." In absolute seriousness, which was more fun: 1980 or 2020?
80s got my vote.
I’ll take the 1980s ALL DAY LONG!!
1986...exactly
RIP Robin Crosby
Gone but never forgotten & always loved.
And his gal Tawny on covers one (EP) and two (Out of...).
these guys should have been bigger than Bon Jovi, Motley Crue or any of them.
Yes dylan Myers you are totally right 100% agreed with you . This is the best comment on ratt I have ever read
You are so right
Yes I think Ratt had better more consistent albums but Motley and Jovi (& I saw all of these bands in the 80's) just had an overall better stage presentation. Ratt were good but a little disappointing to me on the two big tours I saw (Undercover and Reach)
They're back at Billboard Chart! Who'd have thought of that..
They definitely gave Motley Crue a run...it seems they were outdoing it each other until Dr. Feelgood came out. Those were my two favorite hair metal bands of the 80s.
I would give ANYTHING to go back to this time, just to re live the music. THe 80's just blew it all away musically.
John Mulkey it was a fucking magical time.
It had the best music!!
It is possible to KILL our "present time" if you really want to go back + John Mulkey
You "would give anything", so throw your smartphone away and tell people around to do the same, keep your old cars, fight the climate LIE, the "terror" staged hoaxes etc....
Did anyone said let's invent a time machine? .The rock shows and the hot babes. Indeed our era left a great impact that future generations wish they had.
Exactly best time ever!!! Pearcy rules
You know it’s rockin’ when you can listen to it over and over…
Possibly the most underrated rock band EVER!

One of the BEST! Their songs BLOW Motley right out of the water!!

The best RATT song of all time. I can play the song over and over. I will not get bored of it. It's that good listen to.
Exactly! Not only the best RATT song ever but one of the best songs ever PERIOD! Very underappreciated!!
And yet oddly, the rest of the album wasnt even remotely good. Probably my favorite Ratt song as well

So true
"Dancing Under Cover" one of the best Ratt album.. oldskull ruless!!!

The best was invasion of you're privacy
Imo,The best ratt album was the very first EP before OUT of the Cellar came out.
Robin Crosby says that ep is the truest representation of what they wanted to be as a band before big labels and over priced producers came into the picture.
That ain’t old-school dude
Out of the sellers freaking wicked yeah heck yeah
so glad I lived in the 80s such a great decade

@Mr G I love this song, but the backing vocals sound very different without Robbin Crosby. Not saying they're worse or better - but they are definitely different.
Lay it Down,,,
