It wasn't very simple for some of us with the drugs, and booze always on our mind. Chicks too! Had a lot of fun though! Sometimes I really miss my old friends, and partying! Chicks TOO! LOL
Do what you can to make it simple and amazing. Personally I still listen to and collect 80s metal / rock albums and cassettes, 80s rock mags, comics, watch 80s movies, etc. Also minimise time on shitty "modern" things like Facebook, reality TV, etc. It will definitely help you to feel young again 😊
I think I was at that same concert. Had to have been McNichols Arena. I went to every rock concert at McNichols Arena back in the 80s. Lived in Colorado Springs and we would drive up to Denver for the weekend and stay with whatever new friend(s) we met over the months and years prior. I was 21 in 1986, and my girlfriends and I all wanted to marry rock stars. My life was similar to the movie Rock Star w Mark Wahlberg 😆 No regrets!!
+Kastalya Music Bruh, do you even logic? If you weren't born in the 80's, there's no fucking way in Heaven, Earth or Hell that those were your best years.
This was almost the best of the mid 80's early 90's rock bands. Guns n Roses released 2 good albums, Cinderella 5!!!!!!! Every single song was awesome. Keifer was a beast of a singer. So sad they stopped too early. This song just shows you how much passion and talent these guys had
I still have ALL my long hair and my leather jacket with tassels and that's the way I want to be buried!!! So proud to grow up in this decade!! Long live 80s hair metal!!
You couldn't ask for a better way to be put Six Feet Under. Not like I wanted to happen now. But great taste. The 80s were that total shit. Had more fun than any teenage girl should be allowed to have especially going backstage to several concerts. Had an absolute fucking blast. Keep rocking babe

Cinderella was the real deal back then, and as a live act, were virtually untouchable. I took some of my idiot-grunge friends to see them in the late 90's, even (begrudgingly on their parts), and their jaws were on the floor the entire show watching them perform. I never heard them say a bad word about Cinderella after that one 😃
Shows why grunge only lasted about 5 years, yet glam metal lasted more than 15. What's more surprising is glam is coming back, yet grunge isn't. Just goes to prove glam>grunge.
@@ALLMETAL1970 there were only a handful of glam bands that were genuinely good and had a distinct sound. 75% of the other bands were just clones of Ratt and Warrant playing generic pop rock for the chicks and the fashion, thousands of them. glam had a higher peak but there are many more solid bands as a whole in grunge than glam. in conclusion, most glam is pretty gay.
Cool fact!!! They were from the same town Joan Jett was born in Lansdowne Pa. Jeff Labar was Lansdowne Aldan. Tom Was Springfield Pa. Eric was from Newtown Square. I’m not sure exactly where Fred was from
Growing up a lot of people quickly dismissed ‘Cinderella’ as just another hair band act. (think; Poison, Warrant, Stryper, etc.,etc.) I didn’t mind those bands and even enjoyed a few of their songs. However, Keifer’s vocals alone put them head shoulders above any of those acts. The grit and power with which the singer delivers is right up there with Brian Johnson, James Hetfield, and Wasp. In fact, I like Keifer’s vocals over Johnson’s. Nothing against Brian and the crew, just my taste. I didn’t look at Cinderella as hair band, but a kick ass metal band with long hair
"When I was a young boy.." There is absolutely no one like Cinderella out there now. Transcending time! Always awesome music! No expiration on good rock/blues music!
So called hair bands are often criticised for their lyrical abilities, but here you have Tom saying 'the shit you ate for breakfast, well it'll only give you cancer', he was ahead of his time with that one.

TJ Moosemanzata I agree but I still have all my Cassette tapes too . I Met Tom Kiefer at a small venue in about 3 years ago he was so cool down to earth and just stood around and talked to us like he was one of us
My dad passed away yesterday and now I'm making a playlist with all the songs he loved and I remember him by. This is one of them. Thank you dad for showing me the greatest artists of all times. Loved, missed and never forgotten 🤘🔥❤
Sorry for your loss. Sounds like your dad had great taste in music !
Соболезную.
SORRY ABOUT UR DAD... BULLET BOYS WERE ANOTHER BAD ASS BAND FROM THIS ERA THAT DIDNT GET MUCH PUBLICITY...ROCK ON
@@bigbadchad6940 One reason the Bullet Boys went down in flames was the singer got drunk and called the head of their label and got snarky with him saying, you don't promote us enough ! So he said fine, I won't promote you at all . His drunken phone call ruined it for the other guys in the band. I still have the Smooth Up In Ya album though, lol.
Giving my condolences to you. You're lucky to have a Dad who likes rock music. Especially, Cinderella.

Cinderella!!!!!!
Моя юность. Жена не любит когда я включаю такой стиль музыки 😅🤘
У них только этот альбом взлетел. Потом была откровенная чушь. Бон Джови помог на стпрте.
RIP Jeff laBar, your music help millions across the world. RIP we miss you already
send me back to 1980 when life was simple and amazing
Right on
It wasn't very simple for some of us with the drugs, and booze always on our mind. Chicks too! Had a lot of fun though! Sometimes I really miss my old friends, and partying! Chicks TOO! LOL
I think you mean 1986, but yeah me too
Do what you can to make it simple and amazing. Personally I still listen to and collect 80s metal / rock albums and cassettes, 80s rock mags, comics, watch 80s movies, etc. Also minimise time on shitty "modern" things like Facebook, reality TV, etc. It will definitely help you to feel young again 😊
I saw a rat and Cinderella back in 1987 and Denver Colorado I am now 66. The 80s will never die
My life was similar to the movie Rock Star w Mark Wahlberg 😆 No regrets!!
amen the 80s will never die. weall still want to be rock stars
Ratt and Dokken best of the Hair era

This was almost the best of the mid 80's early 90's rock bands. Guns n Roses released 2 good albums, Cinderella 5!!!!!!! Every single song was awesome. Keifer was a beast of a singer. So sad they stopped too early. This song just shows you how much passion and talent these guys had
All they is cool!!!

When I was a young boy
They said you're only gettin' older
But how was I to know then
That they'd be cryin' on my shoulder
Put your money in a big house
Get yourself a pretty wife
She'll collect your life insurance
When she connects you with a knife
Somebody get the doctor, I'm feelin' pretty poor
Somebody get the stretcher before I hit the floor, come on
Somebody save me
I lost my job, they kicked me out of my tree
Save me
Save me
Everybody's got opinions
But nobody's got the answers
And the shit you ate for breakfast
Well, it'll only give you cancer
Runnin' in a circle
Runnin' to the mornin' light
And if you ain't quite workable
It's been one hell of a night
Somebody get the doctor, I think I'm gonna crash
Never paid the bill 'cause I ain't got the cash
Somebody save me
I lost my job, they kicked me out of my tree
Save me
Save me, look out
Save me
I lost my job, they kicked me out of my tree
Save me
Save me
Come on and save me
I'm goin' down for the last time, look out
(Save me) Save me

Cinderella was the real deal back then, and as a live act, were virtually untouchable.
I took some of my idiot-grunge friends to see them in the late 90's, even (begrudgingly on their parts), and their jaws were on the floor the entire show watching them perform.
I never heard them say a bad word about Cinderella after that one 😃
1 thingy I learned is that there's 3 kinds of people in this world those that are given those that are taken those that have earned simplicity
@@ThePineappler_ if most glam is gay, than why did most of them date supermodels and f*cking actresses. So you are, completely and utterly wrong.

One of the best songs ever.. this is absolutely what made the 80s the best generation of music bc every one wants to go back
Cool fact!!! They were from the same town Joan Jett was born in Lansdowne Pa. Jeff Labar was Lansdowne Aldan. Tom Was Springfield Pa. Eric was from Newtown Square. I’m not sure exactly where Fred was from
@@robertg.7052 --- they all grew up in PA but became famous playing clubs on the Jersey shore --- that's where Bon Jovi discovered them
This band will never get the credit it deserves. Despite the wrapping, they were not a hair band.
Keifer's vocals was amazing. Sad he didn't get his props. He was hitting those squealing high notes long before the world knew who Axl Rose was.
Sounds kind of like AC/DC. Axl had a lot more power.
And David Coverdale was doing that in the 70s with Deep Purple. And then Whitesnake. The guy has a 7 Octave range.
both were great singers but i would' choose Tom over axl..
Tom vocal is so unique
Seen Cinderella on the "Long Cold Winter" tour!!! One of the greatest shows from the 80's!!

So called hair bands are often criticised for their lyrical abilities, but here you have Tom saying 'the shit you ate for breakfast, well it'll only give you cancer', he was ahead of his time with that one.
