I've been listening to him since Burn with Deep Purple. Seen him a few times and it's been great each time and it looks like Dino is going to be a great replacement as Dave retires.
White snake still of the night the best hard rock music video and song written by David Coverdale is the man!! This song is a classic rock!! White snake kick some serious a**!!!!🙏❤️
What can you say David Coverdale is one of the best musicians of all time and no one can come close to his voice and say nothing of the way he looks to this day the sexiest man alive
I agree, but if I was a woman, trust me I'm not, I would pick Ian Astbury as the better looking dude, at least in his younger days, think Fire Woman/the Cult.
I absolutely love this song, fun fact it was heavily criticized as was the band for being wannabes and knockoffs of Zeppelin. It has stood the test of time and is now a Classic of its time
At age 61, I can't express enough how powerful this band and bands of this time were in creating my character. I've lived a fantastic life, met , married and been with my wife of 38 years. Had 2 awesome kids, both who are excellent human beings. Both male, great looking, heterosexual, 1 married, 6 figure income earners, intelligent and very respectful. I've owned 2 businesses and love every day I breath. This music still makes my heart race, like meeting my wife did when it happened. We dated once, been together since. Spielberg couldn't write this story. Its true and real as it gets....❤
Watching this on the day that Tawney died. She was beautiful. So so beautiful. Another one that got lost. She for sure has been found now away from this at cruel times world.
Back in 1987... I was hearing Is This Love and Here I Go Again on the radio every now and then, those two were pretty often broadcast in pop programmes. And then came that moment when I heard Still of The Night for the very first time on a hardrock-metal-only radio show... It was kinda orgasmic :) This is the song that led me to buy the 87 album and made me a WS fan.
This is one of those songs, that if it was just released today for the first time, would still get as much air play and still become as popular as it is now. What a timeless song.
My Boss always play this everytime I'm doing closing in our restaurant. I asked him tonight who sings this song and the title of it 'coz it sounds like a badass and REAL ROCK! I'm a 90's slow rock and heavy metal but I love this one! Especially the guitar string by the lead guitarist and the beat by the drummer plus the vocalist! This band is the best! First time I've heard of it, and watch their music video! It's a ROCK TO THE WORLD!!!
This song doesn't get enough credit. The song is 7 minutes. At 2 minutes 8 seconds it goes into a 2 and 1/2 minute long Led Zeppelin like badass interlude slow then intimate then hard and then you even got guitar violin bow like Zeppelin. Badass. You just don't get songs like this today.
That's true, the song doesn't get all the credit it really deserves. And you know why? Because of that constant involvment of Led Zeppelin like badass interlude etc. etc. which is an absolute crap. The guitar sound of John Sykes on this album will never be reproduced again, even from Sykes himself. Compared to it Page sounds like "kiddy guitarist". And I am sure all these videos would be much better and appreciated if the original members who recorded the album - John Sykes, Neil Murray, Ainsley Dunbar amd Don Airey were filmed.

Finally after all these years, that killer solo has the sound clarity it deserves. This remaster is really wild. It’s almost like an another band playing the song. This song must have the world record number of remasters.
Sometimes, when I listen to this song, I have the feeling that a wave of emotions overwhelms my heart as an eternal rebel boy!!! Fantastic Whitesnakes!!
this is a tapestry of rock excellence.... a taste of everything that is the greatness of large obvious and earnest fckng balls to the wall rock of that era. Perfect track for what it is.
Love Coverdale and Sykes. And Tommy too but original drummer was my personal favorite. Whitesnake has to be seen live to really be appreciated. Hell yeah !!!
The video looks awesome in HD, I think Adrian and Viv are awesome players (seen both live a number of times) but i wish John Sykes had got to be in the videos and tour for this album he co-wrote and his amazing lead work. Really big shame it didn't work out, one of lifes what if's! I hope one day we will hear Sykes again......I miss him as he is one of my favourite guitar players. Peace.
I fully agree, Paul, JOHN SYKES' guitar playing is amazing and unique. I have both BLUE MURDER albums where he shows what he can. He's not only a guitar player extraordinaire, but also a great singer with an amazing bluesy voice what we can hear on both BM albums. SYKES and his band BLUE MURDER (with TONY FRANKLIN on bass and CARMINE APPICE on drums) did not get the recognition he deserves.
@@helmutbiehl2454 Those albums are great (Nuclear Cowboy is one of my JS favourites) and yes great voice in which like Gary Moore doesn't get noted as much as the playing. @Paul-that is a good point but Sykes ruined it for himself when he tried to get David fired during those sessions. DC was injured and Sykes tried to throw him off the boat. HUGE MISTAKE! I recently heard Adrian on Mitch Lafon's podcast and Adrian says he was in the studio, could hear DC and Sykes shouting at one another and that's when Sykes was asked to leave. Incredible story indeed of how Sykes ruined his own legacy in WS

David Coverdale doesn't get enough credit for amazing vocals. One of the best rock performances ever
That's because Zepheads accused him of sounding too much like their master: Robert Plant.
