Nostalgia hit me hard tonight listening to some old tunes from my youth. Brought tears to my eyes....wanting and wishing I could go back and feel the way I did in the 80's. The friends, the summer nights hanging out in town, the summer days at the lake...cooler full of beer.... everyone had it going on and no one was getting shot at. A lot of those friends are gone now....just found out last week about another one that passed away....and it hit my heart hard. Kids today just don't know what it's like to just stand around on a warm summer night...listening to tunes like this one...no phones...no computers....no video games...just good conversation with good friends......and an occasional race down a straight stretch....😜😁.....and mud bogging after a good hard rain!!! Oh......and let's not forget our good ole MTV!!!!!

The first concert I ever went to was in Houston Texas in 1987 at the Summit - I was 14 yrs old... Whitesnake opened for Motley Crew and blew everyones minds. Almost 40 years later these guys are still one of the best rock bands I've ever had the privlege to hear live.

80’s Hair Metal was the best era of music. It helped to define my generation and my youth. The ladies were beautiful and the guys made a young man want to be them. Not all hero’s wear capes.
