You might find yourself cursing and having a better time, and then you see him cover his mouth like he heard you say something bad, which makes you smile even more. I love you, Bon Jovi, like a brother. Being part of this journey, your music has always made you a role model for me as I was growing up. Thank you for helping to raise me, even though I’m a 50-year-old man now. I was just in my early teens back then.
Last year my then 12 year old son was diagnosed with cancer and it was in the nasal, throat area, During radiation, he developed sores and struggled to eat so I used to feed him semi solid food and I would start singing the chorus so as to distract him from the pain so he could eat as much as possible. Now this song has taken on a very different meaning for the two of us. Each time I play this song, we dance to it and it is very emotional for us. It had a way of speaking to our situation, we were living on a prayer. He is in remission and we are grateful and still living on a prayer🙂

Last year my then 12 year old son was diagnosed with cancer and it was in the nasal, throat area, During radiation, he developed sores and struggled to eat so I used to feed him semi solid food and I would start singing the chorus so as to distract him from the pain so he could eat as much as possible. Now this song has taken on a very different meaning for the two of us. Each time I play this song, we dance to it and it is very emotional for us. It had a way of speaking to our situation, we were living on a prayer. He is in remission and we are grateful and still living on a prayer🙂
