Tried this program out a while back, i was a bit reluctant to give it a go due to how you need to hook up to the internet to run it. What i found after using this program was that my internet connection was constantly busy, even after rebooting and/or shutting down. Each time my computer was running the internet connection was running in the background. Just beware, and if you do decide to try this program check your internet connection`s activity before and after. Something just doesn`t seem right. ps i realise that there will be occasional background activity on any OS stock or otherwise, but this is constant activity.
It's better to debloat manually, so you know exactly what you're doing. These apps, including the one from O&O, can break things in interesting ways, so that down the road, it makes you wonder why something that works for everyone else doesn't work for you.
True, but if you understand the changes these apps make to your computer, it's a real time saver. But we don't all use our computers for the same things and that's where the issues come in.
Tbh all the hate for a free program that actually helps. At this point I’m starting to believe someone running a bot farm with all of them commenting something negative. Cause it crazy. They’ll say some negative shit then never respond back.
Totally agree! If you can do all of the stuff manually, that's great. The tool just makes it easier, but it might also do some thing you might not necessarily want.
I always used to follow these "guides" with issues down the road, now i just installed windows normally without using a microsoft account and everything's been okay for a year, no more issues.
I want to Thank You for your excellent video and work on the Answer File. I have been a Computer Consultant since 1982. Windows is full of junk and more gets added with each version. Please keep up the Good Fight!!!
Much apreciated! Had a lot of those scripts installed before, manually. This is a godsend, if you know what youre doing. Is there a MicroWin equivalent for Windows 10?
Generally debloated or custom windows flavours list their speciality when windows updates run. I am focusing on tools like these to use every time windows decides they know better than me and force their updates on my toys
There's also Sophia script that uses ps scripts you can select from a set, but while it is more capable in some regards that ctt, it's a lot more finicky to use. CTT's tool is very easy to use.
Thanks for more good info on this great utility. I can't believe your Windows 11 is only using 2.1 to 3 GB of memory on boot up! My Laptop that runs Windows 11 eats tons of memory on boot up! After I boot up it's used 5.5 GB of memory! I've ran this utility and disabled telemetry and set processes to manual. That didn't help free up any additional memory on start so I'll probably look into disabling or removing the Lenovo software because it's likely eating a bunch of memory!?
No need! Already done it myself and I only used it to install programs like chrome, blender, discord, etc without needing to go to websites. Awesome tool but you don’t want to do too much.
only bad things about his script is it installs chocolatey wether you want it or not, use it or not. and it's intentional, not going to get "fixed". theres a fix in github issues, you can run the script with a modifier that stops it from happening.
@@mrlucmorin right so I'm supposed to use this uninstaller script and then manually uninstall the crap it leaves behind? Not to mention I have no idea where it leaves chocolatey it's not like it's in the add/remove programs dialogue.

Great Video! Keep it up! 🤓
Thanks! Appreciated.
one of the best, maybe even the best free tool to rid your windows of bloat and tracking, yet ppl talk smack because stupid.
🤣
Love the Titus tech winutility tool. Chris has done a great job updating and maintaining the tool. Use this on every pc I have both work and personal
Tbh all the hate for a free program that actually helps. At this point I’m starting to believe someone running a bot farm with all of them commenting something negative. Cause it crazy. They’ll say some negative shit then never respond back.
Holy shit this is incredible, I had the process cound went from 210 to 130, Incredible
Thanks. This video made me subscribe.
Thanks so much for the sub!
Great video helped a lot. Liked and subscribed
Btw Chris isnt the only person who has something like this. I use a different one bc it has way more tweaks and options for apps.
True, there are a lot of others as well. I like WinUtil though.
It's also about who you can trust.
Awesome info Thanks !
Thanks for thr information.. will be using today..
1:35 - if you double-click again it will RESTORE that screen
Seen it, great tool, I prefer manual control for all those things, but I totally recommend it.
Totally agree! If you can do all of the stuff manually, that's great. The tool just makes it easier, but it might also do some thing you might not necessarily want.
Looks really usefull. Although removing defender doesn't seem like a good idea.
I don't understand how I'be been a "power user" for years without knowing about this. Jesus.
Awesome Work Man!!! Keep Going............😍😍😍😍
Thank you so much 😀
Thanks for a great video. When I run this utility I see an "Enumeration Error" but it still works.
I always used to follow these "guides" with issues down the road, now i just installed windows normally without using a microsoft account and everything's been okay for a year, no more issues.
No issues here with a Microsoft Account as well. We must have a different purview of what issues are.
@@Mario583a i feel like its less bloated and microsoft doesnt force you to use their services this way
This is very useful, thanks
I want to Thank You for your excellent video and work on the Answer File. I have been a Computer Consultant since 1982. Windows is full of junk and more gets added with each version. Please keep up the Good Fight!!!
Much apreciated! Had a lot of those scripts installed before, manually. This is a godsend, if you know what youre doing. Is there a MicroWin equivalent for Windows 10?
Have you ever tried Windows X-Lite editions? Micro, Optimum, Home etc. What is your opinion on those? Can you make a video about Windows X-Lite ?
Generally debloated or custom windows flavours list their speciality when windows updates run. I am focusing on tools like these to use every time windows decides they know better than me and force their updates on my toys
There's also Sophia script that uses ps scripts you can select from a set, but while it is more capable in some regards that ctt, it's a lot more finicky to use. CTT's tool is very easy to use.
Thank you kindly, dear sir! God bless you!
Great video thanks! Very well outlined and explained? Super utilities too - I already use O&O. Where are your answer files
Great video! I use this and it's awesome great script
I was about to go to sleep but found this and watching 😂
Very nice, thanks! :)
After we use your UnattendedWinstal, should we tweak windows again with CTT utility or not?
No need! Already done it myself and I only used it to install programs like chrome, blender, discord, etc without needing to go to websites. Awesome tool but you don’t want to do too much.
Like I said in the video, after Windows Updates are installed, it can be good to run the Utility again.
only bad things about his script is it installs chocolatey wether you want it or not, use it or not.
and it's intentional, not going to get "fixed".
theres a fix in github issues, you can run the script with a modifier that stops it from happening.
I can understand how that can be a pain for some.
Ever heard of uninstall?
@@mrlucmorin right so I'm supposed to use this uninstaller script and then manually uninstall the crap it leaves behind?
Not to mention I have no idea where it leaves chocolatey it's not like it's in the add/remove programs dialogue.
@@GizmoTheGreen Then by all means don't use it. There's tons of shit getting installed by "legit" software anyway, and they're not as friendly as Chocolatey.
@@mrlucmorin the issue is its trivial to prompt about installing chocolatey for the few packages that require it or if winget fails, instead it's silently installed in the background very opposite of the goal of the script.
We need to send a copy of this to Boeing. They have some junk floating in space that apparently doesn't work right. Or maybe they can use a drone with some superglue and some spare bolts.
Meneer... klink my jy's van SA. Smaak die inhoud! Dankie vir die share...
This is a total game changer. Thank you!
Hi great video, if can i ask u can use it more than once?
Removing Edge break things
Nice, you recovered over 1 GB of ram
Gr8 vid bud, Ur the man n just know any wingy remarks r still by ppl that have down loaded ya genius & r having better life 4it, cheers 4 weldone +& shared smlles
I recommend telling the viewers what it does before even running this! You've given a better description of winget than this ps script was.
