This allows you to adjust settings like Windows features or components. If you’re unsure about these options, it’s safe to leave them as default. After making any changes, click OK to continue.""
Hi, amazing guide thank you so much, I followed it and everything was so easy and seamless! I love how clean Windows 11 is now. I just had one question, I cannot access the Windows calendar when I click the time/date on the taskbar, nothing happens when I click it. Is this intended? Is there a way to get the calendar back? Thank you!

@@memstechtips maybe also worth noting - you don't even need to choose something exotic like ChromeOS or Blackberry. I was on Linux when I wanted to test it and on Linux the microsoft page redirects to the ISO version directly, since the Windows Media Creation Tool doesn't run natively on Linux.

Just finding this now but couldn't come at a better time. Doing fresh installs on my personal system and one for a friend this week and have wanted something like this for a longtime. Quick question which I'm pretty sure I know the answer to already, but does the unattended file remove the xbox game bar/game mode functions for gaming?
I have used the Standard "Black Canvas" file and edited it to keep Microsoft Store installed. It worked but there is a problem that whenever I try to download some app from the Store it gives me an error: "Something happened on our end. Waiting a bit might help." and then this text displayed on the bottom of the error pop-up: "PUR-AuthenticationFailure"... Is there a way to "fix" this or to edit the "Blank Canvas" file in such a way where I could keep Microsoft Store fully functioning but Edge deleted completely? UPD: The error was due to the fact that the Windows wasn't activated. After I activated the Windows the Store began to work properly and the apps are downloaded as intended!
So in 12 months after installing W10 or W11 with your IoT-LTSE like version autounattend.xml file, MS feature updates could be re-enabled and sneak-in the things we hate? Is that also the case with any custom file generated with the schneegans script options.

Thanks for your great job on this. It seems there's an issue with both Standard and IOT versions. I've create two different ISOs with your XML files using method 2, without any change made to the XMLs, and tried to install then both on a Lenovo desktop PC which usually works fine with stock ISOs and Ventoy. The installating goes well but then, after the default keyboard layout page, it tries to connect to Microsoft and stays there for ages, nothing else happens. I've run the command "oobe \bypassnro" to check if it helped, and it didn't work neither. Don't know if you have an idea about the issue.

Thank you for this video, it's very interesting. I wonder if you can put the autounattend.xml on to a flash drive that will automate the first boot of a brand new laptop bypassing everything, even creating a Microsoft Acc so the laptop boots straight to the desktop. I would be very interested in this. We are running a course for older people who have little to no computer skills. They receive a brand new hp laptop, boxed, so they get to open and turn on for the first time. We have run this stage of the initial set up of the laptops and it was chaos. Can you help? or point me in the right direction to download such a file to place in the root of a usb that we can give to each recipient of the new laptops? They can then plug in the usb, turn on the laptop, wait a few and then magic, no stress for the staff or the old folk
When I go to the page there seems to be 2 versions of that file. One placed in Core folder and one in Standard folder. Which one should i choose for my usb?
will anything be effected by 24H2, or will this xml file still work perfectly fine? An update on this would be nice, updating to 24H2 for better AM5 CPU performance
Probably, it could actually be reinstalled sooner if Microsoft includes it in Security updates. But you can run the scripts again and it should remove those entries.
I wanna add another important thing that after running sfc/scannow command, the bloatware won't get auto-installed right? Cause a few months back on my windows 11 23h2 build when I uninstalled Microsoft Edge Browser using Wise Uninstaller (an uninstaller tool for windows), I started facing login issues with X-box games I used to play at the time (Forza 4 and Asphalt 9) and I was not being able to login to those games because of an error code... so I ran sfc/scannow command to see if it would fix my issue and to my surprise after it said that it found issues and fixed them, I restarted my device and saw that I could log back in again normally, however edge was now back....
Will this work with 24H2? I heard Microsoft made changes which won't allow us to use a local account and not allow us to bypass the hardware requirements.
im having problems: 1) in instalator mode i have only windows 10 home to choose :( (did with rufus first method with you step by step) 2) after instaling and 'windows need to restart now' take me to instalator again - 'instalation loop' ? 3) i read on internet to remove pendrive when see 'windows need to restart now' - worked
Thanks for the video. Can I upgrade Win 10 to Win 11 using this (IOT-LTSC method). My poor old PC is suffering from the Win 11 block, it's only an Intel Core i7-9700K CPU @ 3.60GHz with 32GB RAM with a RTX 4080-S, must be junk, right? I've tried mounting the ISO and upgrading that way, it didn't work. Waiting for a sizable USB to arrive today to try it that way.
In the video you mentioned that this unattended file and .iso creation can be used and installed in a Virtual Machine. I am currently using VMware Workstation Pro 17. Could you explain the steps required to do that, or would the process be the same as the steps in your video to install it on a regular computer? I've tried it with other answer files and when I boot up the VM it says cant find any Bootable Image. Any help would be greatly appreciated and Thanks for your patience.

Love the video, just a quick question. I have an ASUS ROG X16, it keeps rebooting randomly (doesnt matter if its plugged in or not) and there's nothing I can do that triggers it or stops it from doing so. I am trying to do this clean install of windows and it keeps rebooting during the step of Windows setup where it says "Getting files ready for installation" ( same screen as time stamp 28:05) Any idea how I can resolve this? I've already taken it to UbreakIFix and they tried swapping drives, testing auxillary battery (it turned out to be fine), AND replaced liquid metal around CPU in case of higher temps. They also tested the main battery, fine as well. They're saying it could be the motherboard but theyre not sure and have no other ideas except me basically scrapping the laptop since the motherboard on its own is $700-800, not including labor either. I refuse to believe that this is the case as I have been able to play League of Legends, and browse, at 120+ FPS just fine, its just the forced rebooitng that comes out of nowhere. Any input is great! Thanks and very grateful for you sharing your knowledge Humbly, a newbie fan

Just read the main GitHub page, there are different versions of the file. I explain the differences on the GitHub page or "README.md" file.
Sir do you prepared for windows 10 32bit if so please share me sir it will be helpful for my old Pc thanking you
Yes it works on 32bit now.
@@memstechtips thank you sir
Thanks so much et Bravo 👏 👏 👏 ❤
Is there any particular reason that you used Ventoy instead of Rufus to make the bootable Win11pro iso?
No, it was just to show the different methods.
@@memstechtips Ahh OK thanks for replying
is windows defender protecht you the same if you install windows normoly
will anything be effected by 24H2, or will this xml file still work perfectly fine? An update on this would be nice, updating to 24H2 for better AM5 CPU performance
So the settings to defer 'bloatware' updates for 1 year... does that mean after a year, it will start installing those?
Hi I had some error regarding oobe something with edge and it did not properly finish I think the command prompt did not close by itself
will updating win 11 reinstall all the "bloatware"? or should I just disable autoupdate?
Will this work with 24H2? I heard Microsoft made changes which won't allow us to use a local account and not allow us to bypass the hardware requirements.
Great job!!! Where are snipping tools? It's not working.
P.S.I installed IoT LTSC-like version
Thank youu. Please Browser name ?
Thorium.
it says cannot find product key from unattended answer file

im having problems:
1) in instalator mode i have only windows 10 home to choose :( (did with rufus first method with you step by step)
2) after instaling and 'windows need to restart now' take me to instalator again - 'instalation loop' ?
3) i read on internet to remove pendrive when see 'windows need to restart now' - worked
This happend to me too
Make a video of how to install chromeOS on a win10 pc that will not be able to upgrade to win11 in the future.
Unable to update 23h2,22h2 to ltsc version. because these are different versions. Just a clean install
Yes, you can't upgrade using this method. Will see if we can make it happen in the future though, but don't know if it's actually possible.
that's not a bad commputer actually.
Freezes when pressing enter on enroll key from disk
Strange, try disabling Secure Boot then.
@@memstechtips that helped ty
In the video you mentioned that this unattended file and .iso creation can be used and installed in a Virtual Machine. I am currently using VMware Workstation Pro 17. Could you explain the steps required to do that, or would the process be the same as the steps in your video to install it on a regular computer? I've tried it with other answer files and when I boot up the VM it says cant find any Bootable Image. Any help would be greatly appreciated and Thanks for your patience.
how to remove the bloatware after 1 year delayed?
The Chris Titus Windows Utility should help with that.
@@memstechtips thanks
What can I do if I want the standard but need microsoft store for games and else
Hi how do you fix the calander not showing when you left click on the time and date on the taskbar? Installing the mail and calander app from the MS store didnt fix it.
Please check the 'TROUBLESHOOTING.md" file on the UnattendedWinstall GitHub page. You'll find the fix there.
@@memstechtips Thank you I will check it out now. Edit it worked but the calander is in chinese or something. Ill figure out how to change it. Edit 2 yeah I fixed that also after watching a video. Thanks again
Love the video, just a quick question. I have an ASUS ROG X16, it keeps rebooting randomly (doesnt matter if its plugged in or not) and there's nothing I can do that triggers it or stops it from doing so. I am trying to do this clean install of windows and it keeps rebooting during the step of Windows setup where it says "Getting files ready for installation" ( same screen as time stamp 28:05)
Any idea how I can resolve this?
Thanks and very grateful for you sharing your knowledge

What about actually Activating Windows 10 or Windows 11 with a legit Windows pro key?
You mean like this? ruclips.net/video/giN3Ph8jCOw/видео.html
I don't have write permissions on the USB. Can't copy the file to the USB.
