Being able to add the drivers of the current system is awesome. What you have created here is an easy way to do a clean install from an OEM installation which EVERYONE should do when they get a new PC.

@m.i.b7689 this is a windows channel, not an android channel However, you also have to check there aren't any conflicting drivers, I've seen iTunes and MTK drivers badly misbehave with things such as Odin, so I don't know if it'd be the same for ADB components such as fastboot
I'm using NTLite for all my ISO building process, and it never failed me yet. Can do all the same things, including some more fine tweaking and being precise of what you don't want to install to your system. So I am not switching a running workflow, but thanks for showing and introducing an easy solution, and for some it might be an alternative.

If I could, I would ask that you add a feature to WIMUtil where it will lead you through everything it can possibly change and give a description of what each thing does. I am getting this error when getting oscdimg "Signature date mismatch..." Powershell shows the following: Expected Sign Date: 10/19/2023 21:51:12 Actual Sign Date: 10/19/2023 15:51:12 I can't create an ISO. 😥
I downloaded Windows ADK (Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit) (10.1.26100.1 (May 2024). Check all the boxes to install if you're not sure which modules to install. That should solve your "Signature date mismatch..." issue.

great tool ngl. Please add some kind of progress bar to the tool itself so we can see how much of the process is done. It would also be cool to see a standalone portable exe version of this tool.
I do like the driver part that seems actually net and useful one suggestion I have is if you could implement a way to extract exe drivers to it like if you download a gpu driver from like nvidia or amd you get an exe file extract it and pop it in to the windows installer
I cannot get this program to make media to install windows 11. No matter what I try (ventoy, rufus, usb-c, usb3, front ports and back..) I get the same "windows installation encountered an error and cannot proceed." It happens right on the first screen. I select the drive to boot from, and after the screen turns the color of the installation program, and you see the first window pop up, a moment later after executing a few scripts it throws that error every time. 😓😓

Well if you just want to test the iso without the vm, try the vhdx install method, it will not repartition the disk but will create a vhdx that is inside an already formatted disk.
This is very nice ! well done. Id suggest not using direct download links in future keep it the way it is, i think you'd be opening unnecessary doors to vulnerabilities that you do not want to be responsible for. Simple is safe.

@@memstechtips I was actually just being a lil sarcastic. I actually enjoy installing windows. I have been doing computer repair for 15 years off and on and its amazing what is possible now. I'm sure you remember the days of having to find drivers on the manufacturing website. Super slow file transfer to do the data back up. Having to have the right CD. The length of time a complete windows reinstall with data back up included takes like 20 times less time now than before.
Would be awesome to be able to add applications to the installer trough this utility as well! So much faster and simpler than NTLite. This as im building alot of images with standard set's of drivers and applications trough NTLite...
I tried this last night on a laptop and when using the modified ISO I kept getting the error "Windows could not set the offline locale information. Error code: 0x80FE0000" but was able to use a plain Windows 10 ISO just fine with the same BIOS settings.
Question: Is there any way to properly configure or enable Snip & Sketch? The previous method allowed using Win + Shift + S to capture an area, and it would show a notification where you could click to edit the screenshot.
The problem of that program is that if i want to select what programs do i want i still need to edit de autounattended file. It would be perfect if we could edit some things on the program itself

Perfect. I'm just formatting my PC. Trying it with Chris Titus's MicroWin first. If that doesn't work I'll use a regular Windows iso. The unattended iso file, do you just create a bootable USB with Rufus as usual and leave the advanced check boxes unchecked?
If you want windows to stay as activated version, it needs to match what you currently are using, it will often do that automatically. You don’t have to use activated though, and then what you choose doesn’t matter too much. Also, you can go from .. pro down to home..but not home, up to pro.

I think there might be legal issues with providing the product key automatically with the file (also visible at 3:12), I've seen the Enderman's example in which he nearly got his entire channel terminated because of stuff like these
That specific key isn't going to activate anything as it's just to get past the part of installation. it's even mentioned on the Microsoft KMS generic keys page.

Yes that's because it references the GUI file on the GitHub repo, you can change that part in the script but I wouldn't advise that, it's best just to use iwr launch command.
Win 10 Command Prompt Error / Powershell ran without issue. After pasting in command prompt (admin) :- 'irm' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. But works fine in Powershell. ive posted this @ github issues thread. #23
Ok im new here. Do you just have to copy the last iso file you just created into a normal usb? Then it will auto become booatable when plugging into new pc??
This is a cool tool. I have an acer laptop everytime i update windows, the graphics driver and sound driver goes away. Seriously it is a pain to deal with Realtek audio drivers, there is only one version that works with it (zipped file available on their website, 2019). I'm seeing a new light since it seems this utility tool can add it. Thanks

I'm specifically talking about this file, UnattendedWinstall v2.0. I have serious doubts about downloading this-it seems highly suspicious. VirusTotal flagged potential threats in the autounattend.xml file, including ABRisk.OOTR-7 and Script.Ks.Malware.2194, which could harm the system or even contain surveillance elements. Moreover, the website hosting the GenerateAutoTended.xml file for Windows 11 and 10 clearly states that it wasn’t officially created there, adding to the suspicion. Can anyone clarify this? Or am I wrong to be concerned?
I have made a video about Tiny11 before, not with exact differences because UnattendedWinstall didn't exist back then, but from what I can remember there were some privacy settings that Tiny11 didn't disable that is disabled in UW.

dang I just got done reinstalling windows using your previous method. I guess I'll do it again. SSDs are super fast.
especially the latest nvme SSD drives.
So far nothing has changed with the UnattendedWinstall project which customizes Windows, but this makes creating the ISO for UW easier.

Pretty neat. Is there a way to make an autounattend file though a website? Editing the file is beyond me for the most part.

how do you choose the correct version of windows 11 i.e. home or proffessional etc? it seems to default to index 1 which is home edition
Either the license is embedded into the BIOS or selected in either the unattended install file or manually during install.

What is the best way to install Windows on a new PC and then move all my former OEM programs to it without installing each one individually?
So to create media installation tools, if I use rufus it will take 1 hour. If I use this it will only take 1 minute? 😮

Oscdimg.exe just doesn't want to install at all, any fix ?
it doesn't even lunch to even go through the installation process
when I double click or use run as administrator on Oscdimg.exe nothing happens and the installation never starters
