Rolex Submariner "No Date" or Oyster Perpetual 41mm Green Dial. Which would you pick? Thanks for all your views and don't forget to subscribe for more great content on Frankie Watch! 😄🙏
Team green OP !! Bias though because I have one. I think it’s more versatile as it’s dressier/classier but still tough enough to take swimming to any reasonable depth
Please i need help. Does the links of the submariner bracelet also fit on the op41 bracelet? Because i need a half link and its available for the sub. Thanks
Got the same 41mm ND Sub(grey market) and a Silver Dial 41mm OP(from the AD) both are great watches 😍 Do ❤ the Glidelock on the Submariner Bracelet though 👌
i purchased green dial 41mm for 8300$ , brand new from retailer. After using it few months , i share my honest opinion here. a) green dial looks great and different but easily reflects stains on it , stains of anything even water are very much visible on it. b) The watch has round plain bezel which attracts scratches easily, i am using this watch since 4 months and within four months its dial got too many small visible scratches.
Rolex Submariner Stainless Black dial 124060 ,all day every day. If you have not worn one the Stainless Steel and the Black dial and Bezel go together beautifully. Rolex got this one very right, the current model looks better than the Vintage models, after seeing them all up close and personal.
I couldn't agree more! There's something about the fit of this 124060 that I absolutely love, unlike the blocky super case of the previous generation that never looked right to my eyes. Add to that the far superior 3230 movement and you have the best sub ever produced. Love it! Thanks for watching!
You are spot on with the assertion that this is a perfect 2 watch Rolex collection. If I had to choose, I’m still with the no date sub, a classic. However, I could easily sell every watch I possess and get the bright blue OP41 and it be the only watch ever! My only caveat is the potential scratch magnet polished bezel. The blue OP can be worn on the beach, in the sea and yet it would look so good whilst wearing a suit or tux. It’ll just last forever and be a great timepiece to hand down to my son.
I have the no date sub and I just couldnt get away from that Green dial OP. Just went in and asked my AD for one. Told him it would be a birthday gift to myself in Feb. i agree, it’s a good two watch rolex collection to join my other watches!
Beautiful watches. I would pick OP36 for my 7.5 wrist. For only dial watch I think OP41 is too big. Also OP36 is actually 37mm watch. Not many of 37mm exists today. A true future collectible
OP, same movement, 100m WR I’ll never go down 300m, and $6900 USD here in my country, just perfect! And the fact that my AD call me after just 3 month I ordered makes it even better
Awesome comparison. Thank you! Those are great looking pieces. Did you need to remove any links out of the Submariner to fit it to your 7.5 inch wrist? Or was it good to go out of the box (and adjusting using the Glidelock)?
Thanks Adam, appreciate the comment! I could have used it with the full links and just putting the Glidelock at the tightest setting. But in the end I decided to remove one link so I can enjoy the Glidelock in more positions. Thanks for watching! 😀
Im kinda concerned that someone may publicly humiliate me by saying something like: "oh u got the entry level Rolex or " Get a big boy Rolex, not this cheap one" Is that concern real? anyone said that to you before? How did u respond?
I actually have more people excited about seeing the Green OP than any Rolex Submariner minus the Hulk. The Green OP is much harder to get at retail, so if you’re in the know then these arguments fall flat on their face! 😅
Very nice video… I prefere the earlier generation sub with date 116610LN because of the „wider shoulders“ and the OP 41 with bright blue dial… but it‘s easy to see that you have great taste 👍😉😃
$18k for a Sub or an OP???? This didn't age well. This guy sounds old enough to know prices of everything fluctuate and eventually come back down once the free money (low interest rates) disappear. People who can't afford high end watches in the slightest put these on their credit card all the time. Vast majority of "buyers."

I would pick the SUBMARINER
I would buy both if I can. No hesitation 😎
If it was a sub date than sub date but out this two op41 green
OP41 green
I already have OP 41mm green. It’s my favorite.
show off lar
OP green for the win !!
Managed to get the green dial OP41 from an AD. Super happy to get it at list price as I think the grey market price is still ridiculous.
What was the approx wait time?

OP you can wear with virtually any outfit but the sub you could wear with a clown suit and it wouldn’t look out of place
Just picked up my green OP41 .. and my father owns a no date 41 sub..
Both awesome watches, and two of the best daily watches
Agreed! Great watches no doubt!
What was the approx wait time?
The no date submariner is one of my favorite’s. Looks ultra clean without the cyclops
Agreed! Just love the clean look of this watch! Thanks for the comment! 😊
I already have a 124060 and am picking up the OP Green 41mm this week! Glad I don't have to decide!
Nice! Enjoy them both!

OP Green!
Great comparison for daily wear. You bring up good points in your comparison👍🏼

Wonderful Video. How heavy are these watches for your wrist size. Thank you for your time. Subscribed thumbs up.

@@frankiewatch Right on. Thank you!!!
Easy, OP Green 👌
I agree Frankie these are my two favorite too!
“… and I dont think they will come down significantly any time soon.” 😂😂😂
If you can afford it go Hulk... best of both worlds

Muy buen video. Creo que un factor que juega a favor del OP es pensar a largo plazo. El Submariner envejece peor a mi entender. Saludos y gracias.

Fast forward to today and the "price is not coming down anytine soon on OP" doesnt look very good.
I think I’d want a silver dial OP and the Starbucks Sub
Who else believes that the OP 41 Green will reach the Sub Hulk valuation when they stop manufacturing?
No one else believes this
Nobody
@@ashveermohadeo2921 You are right.
@@AK-jl5xt Same here .
Green OP's are going for $9-$10k now.....i picked mine up with papers, no box for $9250
Or less now.

Thanks a bunch!
Love them both , give me both all day hard to pick
OP Green fantastico l’ho appena comprato
Not sure why the algorithm suggested this video.....but those are precisely the 2 Rolex in my collection!!!
Wow nice! You have great taste bro! 😅😁
My pick is definitely the No Date sub! Not really a fan of the OP.
⬅️ all the way
Who do you love more, mum or dad?
Op41green
Idea of comparing entry level rolex to iconic submariner is nonsense.. watch world going different point day by day.
Who do you love more? Mom or dad?

😮🤤🤤
Thanks for watching bro!
