Only grey dealers can easily get watches from the AD, ordinary people can never get allocated watches they preferred. Happy to see the prices of all models dropping each day so that I can buy my preferred watch at below retail price. 🎉
The 41mm green dial is another one I've got my eye on. I can totally see people kicking themselves one day for not jumping on that one, but at the same time I think Rolex will sell that watch for a long time.
Market value? I could not care less. I keep my watches for me and forever. I am looking für a OP 41 with Celebration dial. Actually it's the only Rolex I would buy right now.
It’s a very good educative video. Obviously prices are falling dramatically in the secondary market and this should be borne in mind. Agree with your choice of preferred watches and appreciate your honesty.
Tricky question. I live in Dubai where the AD prices are similar in local currency X Dollars in US or Pounds/Euro as well. I’m originally from Brazil and my AD there is offering me every week different models… BUT Brazils taxes are over 40% making the AD price higher than the grey market with one exception. I’m listed there (Brazil) for the GMTs (any jubilee will do the trick). Is it worth to wait and get a retail 40% higher than worldwide just to get it from the AD or should I go Grey?
Ranking by dial face colors is the dumbest thing ever. People need to have some independent though and buy the color they like and not the color someone else likes.
Pricing is unique to the individual watch and based on a number of factors. In the video we’re referring the market price we could see at the time. If you’re interested in this watch I’m sure the sales team would look after you. Thanks for watching
I bought the 39mm OP white dial when nobody wanted them. I've since turned down a 36mm black dial but I've had my deposit taken on a green 36mm so that will arrive soon. Apart from the celebration dial I think most colours in production will be at or near retail during 2024.
The 39mm is a great size and the dial is even more simple without the double batons at 3, 6 and 9. The only thing missing is the easylink but it’s not essential. Thanks for sharing
Many of us never pay above RRP. In fact we get up to 30% discount on Rolexes long ago. The time will come when we can walk into Bucherer and pick any Rolex we want. Trust me.😊
34mm pink dial is a really beautiful piece. Understated but it has a certain glow. The size gives it a bit if a vintage feel. It has to be seen in person to be appreciated.
My wife has an Oyster 36 with a face colour not shown here. It's between red grape and candy pink. Basically think of how pink is to red, this dial colour is to purple. Any idea of the colour name? We've never seen a colour like it. It's a genuine Rolex bought from Goldsmiths.
@@WatchtraderI measured the case it's a 34 not 36 as I originally said. Model number 114200 purchased new in 2018. My wife recalls the shop calling the colour "grape" but even allowing for photo saturation differences it seems much lighter than "red grape".
I paid neatly 3 times over MSRP for my Candy Pink almost two years ago. I know…I know. But it’s my favorite timepiece and I never intend on selling it.
I sometimes wonder if Rolex will discontinue the full OP range. When Tudor are creeping up to OP prices I’m not sure how Rolex will feel about that (even though it’s the sister brand) Or the celebration dial is a celebration of the OP before it’s discontinued 🤷🏻♂️
@@Watchtrader Ok, fair play.. I think people (especially ladies) don’t realise how great 34mm really is. My fiancée own OP34 silver dial and I must admit it’s a great looking watch.. Extremely comfortable, easy and has great proportions..
Agree, the 34mm is a great size for ladies and the silver is classy. Probably an overlooked model. Ladies tend to sell/change their watches less than gents which is probably why we see less in the market.
@@Watchtrader I am more of a dial person than anything else. I think there is a reason why candy pink is the only color that reached the crown on the celebration dial. Candy pink is on my list of the watches I would like to buy in 2024.
I got the green OP 36 - it's beautiful, I love it. It's a watch first and money / investment second.
I have never been disappointed since I became a customer of NKUWAN . Their timepieces are of exceptional quality.
Sorry boy's the 41mm Silver dial OP is my favourite 😍
Nothing quite like the silver dial, the gold hands and markers give it a vintage flavour whilst still looking fresh

Grey dealers buy their watches from ordinary people. Prices coming down means better value for everyone 👌
@@WatchtraderNo they don’t, maybe for a part.
Most their watches come in package deals from AD’s .

You’re right, the length of the production run is longer compared to the red, yellow etc and that will likely be a factor in future
These videos are great👍 keep up the great work guys!
Much appreciate the feedback 👊
The Celebration dial is an eye sore, the stacked red dots a fail x2.
What about the discontinued 39mm??
Where does the Milgauss sit?
If I ever have a watch collection, I would have all OPs in all its color variations.
Market value? I could not care less. I keep my watches for me and forever. I am looking für a OP 41 with Celebration dial. Actually it's the only Rolex I would buy right now.
I have just bought the OP 41mm with the Blue Dial , it is stunning , no Garbage on the Dial , just a stunning Colour that tells the TIME 👌👌👌
Fantastic video! Really enjoyed this one! 36mm is underrated 👌🏽
Appreciate it and agreed

Loved the video - and I'm wearing my OP36 green dial today - my favorite watch in my collection. Cheers!
Thanks for letting us know. Great choice on the green dial 36 👌
I have deposit for a pink 34. How is that ranked?
Ranking by dial face colors is the dumbest thing ever. People need to have some independent though and buy the color they like and not the color someone else likes.
Superb concept ! Superbly done with the board and the cards .
We want more of that
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the feedback 👊
@@Watchtrader would love to see a Daytona version next !
We’ll make it happen
Blue & black & silver are timeless options in terms of versatility and functionality. The rest are just seasonal trends and hypes …
no they're not. Look at the Stella dial day-dates from the 70s. The modern OP dials are a throwback to that era. Same range of colors.
On your website the Green 41 costs 7950 GBP and not 7450 like you show in the video. Why is that? Did demand jump up after the video? :D

What happened to the 34?
please stop these videos, rolex prices are dropping weekly, nobody should ever pay over retail
Well that's down to the buying not you.
Go and buy a Daytona from an AD then 😂
I’m sure. Buy the celebration dial then, buy 3 just for jokes
These guys are just clowns trying to hold on to the idea of overcharging shmucks

Do you think Rolex will discontinue the green dial version like the others?
We don’t know 🤷♂️ It would be a shame if they did
For me the green is the best one
What about the white and red grape models?
White grape is discontinued
What do you mean with second hand prices higher than MSRP?
You guys were spot on!
Can we please do one for oysterflex Daytona
Stay tuned 👌
@@Watchtrader thank you kind Sir.
Great vid keep going
Appreciate it
The Pink OP is the best ever made
Thankfully I got a OP41 Yellow for my wife at MSRP!!! She wears it everyday!
34mm pink dial is a really beautiful piece. Understated but it has a certain glow. The size gives it a bit if a vintage feel.
It has to be seen in person to be appreciated.
Is Hendo Ian Henderson?
Green op 41 at retail is a cracking deal
It’d look well in many collections!
Did the guy say that 36mm green dial sells more for than the 41mm 😮?

This mindset is the problem. Stop looking for which dial can resell the best and pick the one you like.
Start of the video trying to figure out what ‘DTA’ and ‘CTA’ stands for… tier. Got it.
I paid neatly 3 times over MSRP for my Candy Pink almost two years ago. I know…I know.

That makes you an idiot
I don’t know but it seems Rolex price in UK more expensive than in North America price (US and Canada cheaper) 🤗

It would leave a gap in their range if they did. It’s a simple timeless design
@@Watchtrader Agreed, but Rolex want to remain exclusive and keep up the hype so I wouldn’t put it passed them - who knows!
FYI, the S logo in the top tier is upside down :)
You forgot the 34mm line … 🤔
We chose not to include the 28 or 34mm as we see them least often in the market.
Was just offered 41 blue dial below retail buy dealer . The pricing in this video is not accurate at all
We’re talking about unworn 2023 full set pieces. Price will vary based on age and condition
Actually helped me a lot. Since I want the Rolex green ❤ thanks 🙏
Could just buy the colour you like best !! crazy eh
I think most people do. It’s just interesting to see how the market views the the range of dials
op 36 mm white dial is the best
34mm?

This should have been shortened to 36 and 41mm models, they are far and away the most worn.
Does the Oyster Perpetual Date just use a battery
Candy pink was never made in 41mm

We are idiots. Why we value dial over technical quality and wearability. It's exactly as judging book by its cover.
Red dial are to resell again and again ..ppl dont wear them everyday...
Ummm 34mm?
We didn’t include 28 and 34mm as we see so few of them in the market at the moment
Artificial Scarcity.
👏
rubbish tier list.
I am not selling my Rolex and do not want or need profits so I will keep my gorgeous and beautiful new Rolex Submariner Bluesy forever.
