I love the music choices you make, especially liked the change when it got dark. Gummy Bear Power!! I love riding with my wife; the ride may not be quite as fast as with friends or alone but man we have some good times. It's great to see you sharing this with your wife and to see Yuka enjoy it as much as she does.
You channel is easily my favorite out of the mountain bike community. It got me to purchase a nomad of my own and got me to go out riding several times a week. Keep this going and I’m sure you’ll have hundreds of thousands of subscribers in the years to come
Wow, this has been one of the most beautiful POV mtb videos I’ve ever seen. Awesome colors, I really love fall time! I need to get out for a good bike ride before it gets too cold here in Philadelphia.
Your title got me ... I thought I was going to see Yuka go over a cliff .... I almost didn't watch. I'm happy I did, I'm so happy she's okay. Isn't that trail beautiful? I love that salmon color in the leaves ... and the yellow is soooo yellow. Simply beautiful. Thanks for sharing ... see ya next time around. Sending safety prayers for you both.
What I really love is that he isn't leaving her behind while he flies ahead. I've seen that so many time guy goes flying by and five minutes later she shows up. My wife saw that one day with me and said:" If I did that to her she'd ride back to the car or even home." well done you two.
Great ride. Yuka is funny. Broken derailleur, time for new bike Water crossing, you first More uphill climbing, goodbye Things not working out, you lied to me So funny, and she's a real trooper, and from what i've seen , brave , and good rider. She needs her own channel, "good times with Yuka". Thanks as always.
Really good video. The landscapes with the autumn colors are so beautiful. You do some impressive work on your videos. And I like the fact you offer different kind of videos some are more raw (bikepark) and some are so well edited (like this one or with BKXC) and the choice of musics on your videos is perfect. I can't imagine the hours spent in front of your computer. You deserve so more followers
Stunning scenery, beautiful fall colours, and that amazing blue creek water. I can't wait to come to BC next year, I'm visiting my kids in Maple Ridge and I want to hire a bike for a couple of days and get some riding in. Great edit Eric, you must spend so much time laughing, Yuka is so funny.
You guys ride some epic trails, Eric! As always, the trails were interesting and the views were amazing. I loved that blue water, never seen a river like that. Looking forward to the other videos. Pretty sure Yuka wants a new bike, Lol!
Man, you guys make a great team! Beautiful scenery and ride! I think Yuka needs a new bike! Agree with Woody... great trail etiquette... I see too many bikers just blow by people without a word. A "hello, thanks and have a great day" does wonders for building the biker rep! Oh, and love the background music! Thanks for sharing!!!
Lol that’s my trick I will share all my food then I will eat yours 😝 and since my bike or backpack is so small I hide some of my gear on my husbands bike or in his pack 😆 I love how real you guys are this looks a lot like our trips. I don’t know if it’s like this for you guys but these trips are the best they bring you closer and stronger and are so much fun to talk about later
This is a bucket list adventure for sure. Going to have to make it happen. In the words of Warren Miller "If you don't do it this year, you will be one year older when you do".
Hi, have you ever considered cargo carriers/racks on your bikes for bike packing? It would ad a little bit of extra weight but bring your CG (center of gravity) down and a lower CG should be better. Also the additional weight would then not hang on you causing additional stress on your back and it would also allow your back to cool more. I would also think that camping equipment would have a smaller chance of getting damaged during a fall when strap to your bike instead of you. And then the there is the propane tank of course, an exploding propane tank would probably also be better strap to your bike. Awesome Channel.
Great vid...just got finished backpacking with some buddies in West Texas. It was my first time and was the hardest thing I've ever done. Vid coming soon.
I wish I were riding with you both! I was inspired by your vid to do some Googling of the Chilcotins and found they have some amazing people histories. I can't even imagine Native people having wars in the same place you are riding through.....but they did. And their ancestors still live in the area. I think you also inspired some other RUclipsrs to travelog in your footsteps (tire tracks).
I love Yuka! And speaking of Yuka, when you go traveling in Central America , you might even eat some Yucca even though it is a root that is eaten more in South America. Yuka is really cute; yucca is not. ....but it is food and after a day of mountain biking , who cares what it looks like and what it tastes like.
Yeah I’ll wait till next summer..I’m planning in buying a Santa Cruz next summer, I do have questions for you regarding the Nomad is it okay if I message you in IG? Thanks
Love your videos, especially the bike packing vids. Just happened to notice that Yuka was laying her bike down on the drive side and that may have broken her derailleur.
thank you guys for sharing your adventures with us. indeed, contact with nature and good company are the real treasure in life. i only wish, i could ride with you. or ride at all. my soul desires what my body can't deliver. so, hit those pedals for as long as you can! cheers!
OMG Yuka went off a cliff! But the Gummy Bears saved her!!! Glad you're ok Yuka. 😄 Heh, I subbed to Yuka's channel a while back and have watched some of your vids too, but completely failed to realize that your vids are on a different channel! 😆 Subbed now. 👍
great video. one of the most magical places in BC a province filled with magical spaces. a few notes for those interested: the South Chilcotin Provincial Park was created in large part due to the high quality grizzly habitat and forage. grizzly hunting is forbidden in the park much to the anger of the local guide outfitter who has tenure to the whole region. autumn is when most grizzly attacks occur in BC as the bears prepare for hibernation. i've had 2 encountered with sow and cubs on that exact trail. foolishly, i was too tired to call out at a creek crossing late in the day. i won't make that mistake again. bring an air horn if you can't yell loud and take great care.
Hi Lauren, I'm planning to follow the same 3-day bikepacking trek with my girlfriend. We plan to go some time in August, should we be wary of grizzlies? I really want to do this trip, but I don't want to get mauled by a grizzly lol, are air horns/bear spray enough?
Great trip! Spanish coming along very well. Please check out Valle de Bravo in central Mexico if you have plans to make it this far south you are welcome to stay in our magical town. Best trails in the country!
Yuka is your secret weapon for growing your channel. She is terrific - string rider, funny and relate-able.
haha, she's great isn't she? lots of videos coming with her!
“Gummy bear power”
Yuka irradiates this aura of pure joy and wholesomeness, it’s contagious
Dude. A chic who rides and doesn’t complain. PRICELESS!

I was cracking up too! So funny!
🤣🤣🤣 or a new bike!!! That’s what I say each time something not right. A girl can only wish!

@@BCpov Dreamy ... good word. Take care and stay warm.
15:36 incredible colors.
Amazing isn't it? The fall is so nice!

This is probably my favorite video of yours! Love watching you and your wife ride together !

My wife is amazed at Yuka's techy-trail riding skills! I'm impressed that folks can ride MTB with big backpacks on. Looks like great hiking territory
Yuka has gotten so good! and she's not scared at all!

Thanks Marc! One of the hardest parts is finding the right music! Sometimes I'll spend hours to find the right song for the moment :)

These colours are amazing! Breathtaking landsape!
This is such a spectacular video! Looks like a great start to an epic adventure!

“It was getting quite dark” 😂 understatement of the year 😂😂
Those fall colors! Incredible! Really stoked going into day 2 for the alpine! I might be convinced at this point that Yuka is invincible! lol

Awesome, right?!
The color saturation settings in your videos are on point!
thanks daedric!
