Back in 2020 when COVID hit and the world went on lock down I was living alone and remote working like crazy from a tiny apartment, spending all my days looking at some stupid corporate reports and spreadsheets... that make me wonder what I was doing with my life... Then I just came across Iohan YT channel and I remember I found comfort and inspiration in your videos, I would spent my evenings watching the series and wondering how would it be to do something like that. By the end of that year I quit my job and embarked on a 6 months motorcycle travel to the Peruvian Jungle and Chilean Patagonia after, now I can say that during that time I really lived!! Today I'm feeling kind of lost again in life again and struggling with my finances while I try to keep living a purposeful life and exploring the world... I remembered your videos and came in search for an update on what you are doing and maybe find some more inspiration and motivation to keep me going... It really breaks my heart to know you've passed away, but at the same time, with tears in my eyes I can say that you still live in the hearts of the people who saw your videos and decided to change, the people you inspired and the people who just find peace by watching the series. You are an inspiration to me, I will get through this!!!, and wherever I go and whatever I do is also thanks to you. rest in peace my friend, Thank you thank you thank you. cheers to the people who is keeping this masterpiece alive.
I came across him very early during his first year of production here on youtube. Pushing 45 at the time i thought if i am going to go on a trip i better start planning now rather than at 70. So i startted getting gear together and then went on a two month trek all accros the uk and europe. Well over 2000 miles. I ate like a pig but had serious trouble sleeping. I could not sleep for most of the nights on days i cycled. No rem sleep until my body forced it. Buti still got up at 6 or 7 am on most days and was on the bike by 7 or 8. Then went on another trip in 2018. Europe again. Then i 2019 i cycled from south Uk to yorkshire dales for the 2019 UCI world championships that was held in harrogate. What a month that was. First peddling my ass up there and then staying and watching the races. I cycled to the food zones of each race in hopes of souvenirs. Bottles, musette bags with what is left over that they did nto want, all the gels and bars. Mad, how mcuh crap they discard. I walked away with musette bags with country flags from the USA, GB, Italy, switzerland, Slovenia, Germany, Spain and norway. I had riders names on two bags. Edvald Boasses Hagen from Norway and Steve Moribito from switzerland. As time went by i noticedi had not seen or heard anything from lohan. Then i found out last year waht happened. Sad. His efforts were truly epic. Great film maker. He had an eye for it. And the animals trusted him.
Thank you to whomever has posted these. I lived up the Fraser River from the Big Bar Ferry for 17 years, raising a family on a homestead at French Bar Creek from 1969-1986. Tragically, all of my 3 boys have crossed over before me. Noralie of Itchy Boots inspired me to return looking for something Iohan did in Patagonia. I've never grieved so deeply for someone I never met since he passed. As My teacher says, "a cloud never dies." We continue on and are never completely gone physically. Life is a ride....
I’ve just learned of Iohans passing. He’s an Angel on a cycle ❤ I’m like many who stumbled on his first trip from Alaska and found it a deeply spiritual & humbling experience. I have tears as I’m posting this . Iohan … thankyou for gracing this world with your presence , “ Fly High” my friend ❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏
Whenever I feel that life is too ugly, I can always count on my friend to bring me peace. I’ve never missed someone so much that I never met. I hope he’s riding up there somewhere…finding dogs and horses along the way.
Like most commenters, I felt revived knowing some unseen footage was just ahead. At the same time, that profound sense of sadness came rushing back. Thanks for taking the time to put this together and post it...
My heart skipped a beat when I saw this was posted ONLY two years ago. I know what waiting for years for a loved one's return. I had a second there. Nevertheless, we are so grateful to experience your adventures and yes, remember how much we miss you, Iohan.
Iohan was a true legend. He inspired so many to go out and ride. He was fearless adventure. I miss him. Every time I feel depressed and low, I start watching his video to charge my batteries and get new inspiration. Thanks for finding and posting his video ❤🙏
Thank you for sharing this content. I followed Iohan's adventure ever since See the world series, and i will forever be gratefull for his excistence. Knowing he is no longer around brings tears to my eyes.. May he forever ride downwind..
thank you for uplouding, its amazing to see this, get so happy and emotinal for the beautiful outdoors from his wonderful movies. Is good to hear him agan too
I haven't felt so conmoved for the death of a person I didn't knew in person but for Iohan. Just saw that this new video existed and all the feelings about his dead came back.
Just came across this a couple of years after devouring Iohan's entire catalogue.. which got me thru a dfifficult summer.. his inspiration got me back into bicycle touring after 28 years away and I completed the Baja Divide - one of the best things I've ever done - this winter.. I wish I could thank him personally..
Thank you for creating this page as a tribute. I got through some tough moments thanks to Iohan. He was a great comfort to me. He was a first rate adventurer and explorer. He was an excellent film maker, narrator and editor; doing all this work under extreme conditions...and with a smile on his face. He's an inspiration.
I was aware there were films Iohan had still to finish editing, but never expected to see them. Thank you so much for creating this channel and uploading these films.
Thought I saw all of Iohan's videos. Now I remember the feeling. Such a good adventurer, and kind, sweet person. Thank you to the people that posted these. Peace.
Thanks for sharing the unseen footage I love it, the editing is great. Still his style and I think he be very happy with it. So inspiring Thank you, love you Iohan
The part one and two were edited to that point by Iohan. He was struggling with finishing the narration part, he compared his problem to writers block. But I think they’re great the way they are.
It's so wonderful to see more of Iohan's work. Even in an unfinished state it was still a joy to watch. He set a high standard both for adventure and documentary.
Iohan was as tough as his bike was, yet as gentle as all the animals he encountered... even the bears. He wont soon be forgotten either. He lived a life well lived, while he could. One Iohan week is like one whole year for most others.
Thank you, Dan and Melanie. This is amazing! Did you guys edit this; it is exactly Iohan’s style. Seeing him and the beautiful single track made me happy.
Is anyone trying to restore the missing video episodes? How about footage from the rest of this trip? I watch his videos every winter, get inspired and mourn our loss. I really wish that we could see the missing footage!
Thank you so much for posting, really helps appreciate the scale and beauty of Canada. What an incredible adventurer Iohan was, I never tire of watching his videos. 💚 The First Aid Kit song at 18:11 is amazing , any chance you can add the other music details as has already been done with Part 2 ?

Whoever is keeping this alive is a wonderful person. Thank you!❤❤❤❤❤❤
his choice for music was one of the things that drew me in, we miss Lohan
Yes indeed! There is a list on Spotify, someone has added all the music he ever used in his videos.. I listen to it probably everyday.

I'm still gutted that we have lost him but take some solace that I can continue to enjoy living vicariously through his amazing videos.

Thank you. I often feel his presence and kindness. He is still loved by so many people and animals.
No one comes close to Iohan's videos.
100% true, most of great youtubers are underappreciated, while trash and copy cat contents gets more views and subs.
Miss Iohan, but have him in my heart every day....
Can’t help but love every one of Lohans videos. He left a mark on everyone that seen any of them. Ride on brother.

He had the soul of a poet and the courage of an explorer. Most people try to avoid adversity, Lohan was looking for it.

Definitely not us! This is just as Iohan left it. Only thing missing was the voiceover. I agree, very beautiful
Amico mio!!! Ci manchi così tanto!! I tuoi viaggi rimarranno per sempre!! Riposa in pace fratello mio. 🇮🇹
Gracias Iohan, sigues por siempre rodando por todo el mundo.
Golden footages. Thanksss.
The state of the hiking trails in this province is shocking. What a mess. Amazing endurance to make this epic journey.
You did not see the world yet, only part of it. Iohan, you need to come back.
Thank you for posting and sharing this video.
Maybe after experiencing such profound connection with the natural world, it was too hard to exist in the broken human world. RIP dear heart ❤️
Increíble. No dejo de emocionarme con los videos de este maravilloso ser de luz. Gracias
Thanks so much for uploading, I don't know what to say
Qué bueno ver a Iohan otra vez, gracias por compartir este video.

This was just part one, there's also a part two you might not have noticed.
Que lindo video. Un gran recuerdo de Ihoan. Se extrañan sus aventuras y el querer verlo llegar a Ushuaia. Un gran motivador.
Thank you very much.
This is beautiful.

Thank you for uploading this. Love to see him in action again. Are there any more videos Iohan was in the process of editing?
Fratello riposa in pace.
Thanks❤
One should make a movie on his videos or at least dedicate it to him.
Agreed!
Was wondering, is his bicycle set up, with bikepacking gear in a display (cycling/outdoor display/museum etc) so he can be remembered by all adventures of the outdoors? 🤔
The bike is being used as Iohan would have wanted.
rip iohan , we miss u man

Sorry for the slow response!
@@iohangueorguievthebikewand2386 cheers
I am shocked to hear he has passed away he was an amazing human being , a quick question: how did he pass away?
Iohan died by suicide. ( give.ubc.ca/memorial/iohan-petrov-gueorguiev/ )
I think [[{{{ cross country, off road, adventure. }}}]]]. Is not posible 🚫. Wild nature is dangerous. Though looks beautiful on video sitting on sofa
Łzy...
