- Step-ups big or small have always been my kryptonite. But now, we've arrived at a massive one at a trail called T-dub at Moose Mountain. It's pretty big and scary... but can I do it?

Yuka is my MTB hero, she's such a beast. Makes me wanna be a better rider. :D
Ya she's hitting stuff that I pass on that trail haha I'm like cmon maybe it's not so bad now haha
@@will21 Dude right!? When she's like I want to hit it too I was like yup she's a trooper! I have friends who have been downhill mountain biking more than me who will not hit gap jumps. I don't really downhill bike I have only done it a couple of times but I use to race and ride trails on BMX so hitting downhill jumps was very easy for me to pick up.
Yewww! Such a great day of riding with the four of you. Looking forward to the next one ABPOV 🤘🏼
Thanks for showing us around and proving that the step up wouldn't kill me 😄
Yall are true legendary
BCpov hey what is up
loam are u and BCpov friends?
@@thomasbunner4513 I’d believe so since they road together in the video
Shout-out to the guy who bear spayed himself at 1:26! 😄😬
LMAOO
What's a bear spray????
I was wondering what was going on there lol...
"Bear spaying" sounds like it would be a pain in the nuts😱
So that's what they were doing... huh
I would watch this on Netflix
On god this would be good asf
Wow this is a copy and pasted comment
_kermitthefrog __ no it is not
No..it is, ive seen this same comment like 15 times
This guy reminds me of Seth
Wow that is a cool feature!
Remayyyy
Remy!!!
Rémy Métailler yoooooooooooo dude
Remayyyyyyyyyy my man
Lots of cool stuff around Calgary. There could be some great spots to follow people on.
I love how you look at features before doing them.
Saw you guys Irl at the top of mount Swansea in Invermere, all it did was confuse me about the timeline
when was this? would have loved to do a lap with them
Sam Salmon same here, was too much of a scaredy cat to go up to them though. Would have been Monday August 24th at about 9:45-10:00 Am.
Yuka CRUSHED that... Love the mental toughness. I get scared on little 3 foot jumps. She's inspiring...
Shout out too yuka for doing the whale tale 🏆
It makes me so happy to call these my local trails and watch this video knowing i've done trail maintenance on the Whale Tail section of T-Dub with Regg Mullet and folks, great memories!!!
Dude, when u first made that jump, even if it bucked, I felt really happy and proud that you made it. Plus you have a whole team who is supportive of what you fear. Props for everybody! 🥳
Seriously please bring back “today on BCpov”
yes!

Hey Bcpov, in manitoba, there’s actually some pretty decent trails aswell in dauphin and in winnipeg. I havent been to dauphin yet but from what i hear the trails are awesome. The trails in Winnipeg that i know of are bision butte, some unmarked trails in birds hill that are really techy, and then a fairly simple oak ridge in birds hill park. And then there is a lake super close by, so to cool down you can go swim
Shout out to the “endless summer” vibes all your content/narrative style has.
I actually love those really steep step ups cause you're able to trick them and land so safely
Yuka is such a legend. She seems so wise!
you guys are my heros! I really appreciate that you talk through the mental barriers and how you break them down to clear big features. I hope one day I can do the same. Nice work!
It's amazing how much more intimidating jumps like this are in person than seeing them in a video. Well done 👍.
Awesome awesome video! Luv the editing and all the different camera angles. Cool breakdown of that step-up feature and why you got bucked. And Yuka never ceases to amaze me!
That was such a massive step-up jump! 🔥 Nice riding both you and Yuka!
You should ride NC. I’d love to see you hit Berm Peak, and Pisgah National Forest is always fun. Wind rock park isn’t that far, and you could ride some of the lesser-known stuff, like RTP in Durham, NC. They have a 50 foot river gap, and almost no one knows it’s even there.
THATS where that river gap is? That’s only an hour from me! Have you ever ridden our park in Salisbury? We just finished up the third jump line.
Yeah, look at the RUclips video “Cisco dirt jumps”, that’s one of the lines there.
Thank you for making all the videos that you do. I love watching you and Yuka constantly exploring and pushing your boundaries. You are steadily mapping out Canada ... like no one else has before. Hello from Ottawa!
Awesome work Yuka! Props to you both as a great supportive team.
One of my moms friends helped make a couple of these runs!! And it’s awesome to see that you came and visited.
@bcpov great to see you had a chance to sample some of the features on t-dub I have built over the years. Plenty of other local gems that are way worthy of a sample. Loved seeing yuka send it! Cheers, Reg
Good stuff Eric! Nothing like conquering something that you have been wanting to for some time.
Glad you guys are still able to keep traveling and riding this year. Stay safe out there. 👍🚵
Love how you show the ride up to the feature before sending it, and how you show/talk about how some of it is scary. Got a sub from me.
Yuka you are da bomb..... a true inspiration to many riders.....and we thank you....
That was an awesome video. I really liked the learning that went into sending that huge wooden gap jump. Very helpful.
Your videos are always so well made thank you for the years of entertainment with your videos! Riding an MTB just holds together!
Really good editing!! It's travel channel quality tbh. I'm impressed.
After all the videos. That slowmo explained how to jump so well! Im excited to try jumps now
I love how this guys always has two camera angles while he's riding! nice job man I wish I could ride places like that 👍👍
Yuka is so awesome. Obviously an amazing rider, but knows her skills and limits. Very cool
Not sure what it is about your videos, but they are just so addictive. I started this and all the sudden it was over. Great job man!
Nice step up Yuka and Eric! Love your channels. 🤙
9:02 Dude! You straight up just sent it.
Wow! You guys are Awesome! Facing your fears like that is quite an accomplishment. Well done! 🤟
Awesome vid, trails look so good🤘🏽 makes me want to come back to Canada and ride again. Can't get enough of the Canadian mtb footage.
Congrats on breaking the curse!! I don't blame you for riding around that step-up at Crazy Merry in Castlegar.. I did the same. Especially after watching my son's friend absolutely eat dirt on the smaller one just before it.. He was okay, but it totally took the wind out of our sails. Maybe next time!
10:57 That sign is a sobering reminder.
Bro! I just started watching you guys today and I am inspired
Yuka is an inspiration, I wish I had her mental fortitude.
love you BCPOV!!!
Seeing Dangerous Dave's new video of this trail today, I felt the need to rewatch your video of it.
I would give anything for a 2-week MTB vacation riding in BC and Alberta. Awesome content as usual
nice man im glad you came over your fear, and because of you im getting into mountain biking
Such an amazing trail!! Looks like fun to ride 🤙
At 8:02 I didn't realise it was slow Mo I thought he was just testing it or something, then he took off and I freaked out😂😂😂
Awesome trails 🔥 kudos to the trail builders 🤘
@bcpov you good lady is one of a kind , pretty sure id follow Antoine off that the first time , but she does have a lot of trust in you after your first attempt :-) well done to brake that curse
You and Yuka progression are phenomenal 👍.
this guy is a blessing he makes me happy every video
11:54 GOOSE BUMP CITY!!!!! So proud of both of you!!!
Great video! Much love!
Yuka is my Hero!!! Love all you guys my fellow Canadians. You make me miss home immensely! X
Wow ! Those ramps/drops/jumps are so scary ! 👏🤘
We kind of have the same curse, except mine might be worse. I can’t even get my head around gap jumps. But after watching your road gap video, I tried the technique, and it’s kind of working. I’m glad I finally have something in common with someone.
That buck was scary af. You did awesome dude! You nailed it!
Yewwww!!!!!! Nice bro ! This video push my determination to conquer my fear
I love your videos they are so relaxing.
clicked on this cuz i thought the title was "the feature that broke the course" lol
Incredible Video!!! Love it!! Next time your in Alberta check out Baseline Mountain!!!!
Your self analysts on why you got bucked on your 1st attempt gave me an ahah moment .... i'm looking at a big gap to conquer this weekend & the type of lip it has generally bucks me but what you said abt not compressing properly dinged in my head ... thanks🙏
Great Video as always. You guys all ride at a very hi level.
Your videos are really worth. I love your Chanel and yuka's Chanel too.
What about your trail building? I'm so eager to see the final result!!!
Yuka is breaking her jump curse! Send it Yuka, keep it up guys. You are awesome.🤘
OMG. You two are freaking hilarious. This is almost turning into a soap opera. I loved it
Love these videos BCPOV
Yuka always cracks me up! I love her!
Yay go Eric I hold out for yourself and yuka’s videos 💓🔥
I have to be honest, this is the best explanation I have seen about why a rider gets bucked. Thanks so much! This gives me a little more confidence for my jumping progression.
Yuka, you rocked it!
That trail looks like good fun!
So my dad got a new bike, and so he gave me his old one, and we fixed it up with a new seat and grips, and now its amazing!
Kool
i don’t remember asking
@@andrewfrail9202 try not to be toxic pls :/
@@bananasstuff3344 the kind of bike?
idk
0 clue tbh
You need to go to oak mountain in Birmingham Alabama they are my local trails I would love to show you around on them they recently also redid some jump lines as well
Nice job Eric! You finally conquered the curse. If you ever go back to California ride more trails! I recommend Downievill or mount Hough in Quincy
Man what an awesome trail wish UK had anything as nice or flowy, well done buddy on sending that step up and Yuka ...... wow what a girl hey well done guys and gals
new favorite channel!
Glad you survived that buck!Love The Gully type trails that cross-cross a river bed or what have you. Any other epic half-pipe trails like that in NA?
You did it! Gaps are my kryptonite, but you’ve slayed the mother of all step ups now.
Sweet trail. Man, I'd love to go to Alberta again. It's been a while.
I just love your channel
I really want to know what's going on at 1:25 with the dude on the left getting his eye hosed down lol
lmfao
Was gonna ask the same thing. It looks like Isabel is torturing him lol
Joshua Clement bear spray
I have anxiety on all jumps and drops...can totally relate. My skills are capable of so much more than my brain will let me do. Way to go!
These youtubers are no different but they are riding with people who push them. That's the key.
Love the vids!
Glad to see you didnt go over your bars on that step up brother, shred on
When all this is over, you should definitely come to Australia and more specifically the Gold Coast in Queensland and ride boomerang farm, super nice place with big jumps, gaps, drops and a huuuuuuge step up
I’m back from being zooted and the videos are still great the commentary reminds me of rust
Ok, now I'm going to spend a summer in both BC and Alberta exploring bike parks. Maybe a six month tour thru the entire country to see what's offered.
Got it done ✔ good work. 🤙
So awesome! 😍
The step up and whale tale is great!!
Also on that jump where you were nose heavy the first time Antoine's body look like his knees were bent a little more and he was a little bit lower You were kind of sitting more upright. I'm glad you did this video I've been looking at some nose heavy jumps for myself and trying to figure out if it's a suspension issue or body and timing
Nice you both did it.
@bcpov I was there the day after you with Alberta 66 too and was talking to the guide and he mentioned that you guys were there
Awesome guys.. awesome too have such a Gf. To Adventure with aswell. Keep Sending **
You and yukas videos went up at the same time so my phone had 2 notification at the same time
Awesome! That step up is way above my pay grade!
Wow I cheered at the screen at tha first attempt. ha ha. Great vid
