I have a soft spot for Hi Point.
My wife and I both started pistol shooting with Hi Point pistols.
Both were very dependable and great starter guns.
We have sense moved on to other handguns but I still have a Hi Point 9mm Carbine.
Like my other Hi Points, the Carbine is very dependable and a lot of fun to shoot.
I added a Red Dot to the Carbine which really helps my old eyes see what I'm shooting at.
Great reasonable pimping of your Hi-Point. I would get it ported by Mag-Na-Port to finish the project.

Never had one brought back for warranty work
And i can’t say that about any other company (at least in my area)
I just wish they would make the Gen 1 carbine rifle in 10mm

Duuuude. I turned mine into like a 95’ civic with a spoiler and hubcab spinners. A cheap comp, cheap light / laser, cheap sight, painted the slide… I dubbed it “The Big Yeet” lol

Enjoy your videos. I want to get a grip LASER for my Taurus 85 chambered in 38 Special but I just can't justify spending more for the accessory than I did for the gun.
Went to a gun show in Mississippi and got a laser light combo for $100. It's Chinese made and the battery doesn't last too long but the brightness of both were decent.

Looks like something from Star Wars and I mean that in a positive way. Really nice looking. Not sure if a laser sight would be too much or not.
I told my friend that these looked like the same blasters Captain Rex used. After that, my friend and I will forever see Rex running around with Hi-points!

LOL. I just sent the same mail about an hour ago! I asked not only about the color in the add but if he had pictures of said color/wood combination in a checkered grip! His picture looked less glossy than yours. You must have gotten the glossy. I think I like the satin.

Nice job; good video. I've been batting around getting a HP 10mm. I like the wood grips. How is the reliability of cycling rounds? Without bias, do you get much ftf, fte, etc?

The grips look amazing, but honestly it's a price thing. If they were cheaper I'd jump on it. I never see them on sale.

Not into the grip selection, I would get a grip that meld into my hands better and wouldn't slip. But everything else is good!

Of all the guns i own, including 1911s. The most accurate handgun i have is a 40 caliber highpoint. Jcp model i think

The way that cheap Victoptics hold onto a 10mm straight blowback slide is impressive. Maybe it's not worth getting Holosun after all? They're both chinese anyway...
