I have these and am listening to your review through them and to be completely honest, the sound test doesn't do them justice. For anyone watching, they sound better than they appear to in this video. Not a slam at this guy or anything, just thought I'd point that out.
i know im a couple months late but anyone wanting to buy these - don’t. edifier make much better quality speakers for the same price range. the sanyun speakers have fake tweeters (i have them and i tested this, absolute ripoff) which makes the highs sound very muted and muddy.
@@Kasmot i would look at the r/BudgetAudiophile subreddit for advice, but generally the Edifier R1700BT and MR4 are the best. Presonus Eris E4.5 and E5 are good options if you can find them cheap used, the E3.5 are not good despite so many good reviews. The Edifiers will sound better than the E3.5.
@@smolfish450 They are pretty great for the price. Better than any Logitech speakers I've used, at half the cost. I'd say they sound better than the $150 surround speakers from Logitech
you meant to say 40hz to 20khz. 40khz is literally not possible its far beyond the human ears reach. Also people spend more because what might sound good to you is not what sounds good to someone with an ear for music and frequencies. These will do for desktop average use but audiophiles like me who produced music for over 20 years need a lot more to be satisfied. That said great review im looking at these cos i need a set of inexpensive desktop speakers.
at the 80 price point im automatically skeptical when they say 20hz to 40khz. when tested I guarantee it does not play down that low or up that high. 80 bucks is very cheap though so id buy them on if you like the sound of them not off their specs which aren't certified in any way.
amazing quality for a small channel! thanks for the info How do you connect those? Can you connect them with an audio interface with L & R inputs from quarter inch jacks
From what I understand by looking at it, best bet would be to connect it via 3.5 aux cable to the interface. The left speaker wire is hardwired to the left speaker and is a white RCA cable but there is no rca out for the right speaker, just auxilary and micro usb
I got an LG TV but no bluetooth except for LG speakers I believe but thats through WiFi!. It does have a USB socket which a memory stick fits to record TV, would that supply the speaker sound, thanks. Nice and direct appraisal no fluff, the way i like my tubers :)
I believe it depends more on the tv, but it should be able to tell you in the manual if you can use it for audio out. If it has a usb port it should have an auxiliary port as well and that’ll work too!
Thanks for the review! How are the bass and treble controls? Like do you notice you can really boost and cut highs and lows? I don't need to bump bassy music, but I really like to be able to adjust the highs and lows so it sounds even.
Thanks! And they’re not the best, was just messing around with them and the treble control didn’t seem to do a whole lot and the bass didn’t seem to do a great job of isolating the low end, it seemed to bring a lot of mids down as well. This is coming from somebody with really new ears in the audio space, so I could just not be able to notice the adjustments yet, but it didn’t seem to have as much of an effect on the sound as you would hope. Also using them plugged into my monitor via aux so not sure if this plays a part as well. Hope this helps!
@@chettystudios Okay. Yeah, thanks, I have heard that in other reviews, the bass and treble controls don't do as much as you would think. They still seem decent though. Anyway thanks!
Yo I just ordered these of amazon today I hope they'll work What do you think of them so far, are they still working, do you have any problems with them, what do you recommend to not do with them ???
They’re still working great and I haven’t had any problems so far. The bass is definitely more prominent than other speakers and even headphones I’ve tried, for example, I notice when editing videos if I’m wearing either of my headsets or using other speakers the low end frequencies sound fine, but when using these I end up adjusting the low end frequencies more because I can hear them more, so I actually prefer them for editing. As far as gaming goes I don’t use them for multiplayer games but been playing God of War and it’s nice to have a strong bass, really makes the game feel more dramatic in certain parts.
It could be from the PC if it's an old motherboard, but if it's happening with other devices or over bluetooth as well, I would triple check to make sure everything is plugged all the way in.
These were no better than the speakers in my Apple Studio Display. I only tested these to see if would be better for Zoom calls. They didn't even do much better for music compared to the ASD. Definitely not worth the clutter and space for me and really makes me appreciate the Studio Display's built in speakers again.
Try a logitech z623, or maybe z cinema, or z906, if you realy want ear damge used you will understand. They last 10 year pluss. And plz try them u will not regret it when u turn it up u will be a changed man the bass wiill change u and ur neighbours in a good way.

they are. bought them a few months ago and i’m upgrading them now. soundstage is awful, highs are very muted when you listen to bassier songs. turning up the treble knob doesn’t help at all and just makes the bass less pronounced. edifier would be my go to in this price range, athough im looking at upgrading to a second hand pair of either Presonus Eris E5s or JBL 305p mkIIs.
