Shadowheart with the Blood of Lathander, Spirit Guardians (Radiant), Luminous Armour, Luminous Gloves, and Coruscation Ring is the source of the boss music.
When it comes to undead, better have have melee weapons with holy damage to either be a 2-handed weapon or else ranged. Weak melee, you've no idea how many times I had to revive Shadowheart. But the aura radius does do a good job against weak skeleton undead.
When I played a Ranger Ketheric made this decision but when I played a Bard with high charisma I was almost able to talk him down. He gave into Myrkul after saying he was too far gone and couldn't be saved which made his story even sadder for me since it was grief that initially drove him to do what he did. Now I always want to play as a Bard just for that scene alone.
I avoided the whole 1st fight by guilt tripping Thorne into committing suicide. Passing high speech checks is essential. By high, I mean you better start upgrading MCs speech from the get go.
"What a fool you are. I'm a god! How can you kill a god? What a grand and intoxicating innocence." -Dagoth Ur (the god)
Shadowheart has Blood of Lathander
