- An Illinois woman was pulled over by Joilet police after someone called 911 on her for drunk driving. Taylor Harmon immediately confesses to drinking, and a few other things, before making every excuse in the book for putting her baby in danger. She pleaded guilty to multiple charges and was sentenced to 170 days in jail.

I don’t agree I think she needs help; nobody’s perfect she needs her baby no matter what that baby belongs to her and she’s there moms every child needs a mother I’m sure once she cleans her self up she will be ok.

It's amazing how much money people will spend on clothes that make them look poor. I grew up with very little money, wore my dad's t-shirts to school, but they didn't have holes in them. I wouldn't be seen out of my house with holey clothes.

Our justice system is a joke. She’ll have her kid back inside of six months . Meanwhile she’ll continue to receive whatever government assistance she receives.

If you watch family law court cases, you know how this goes. Baby goes to foster care while the state does backflips to give her services (counseling, rehab, parenting classes, rides to visit her baby, etc) and lawyers. She plays nice for a few months, then gets the child back. The cycle repeats and that poor child goes through rinse & repeat for 18 years.
So sad.
I looked her up and she lost full custody, instead it went to her lesbian girlfriend

So sad but true. I'm a social worker who worked in children's mental health. Contrary to popular belief, most social workers don't support returning kids 2 certain parents. The legal system is what constantly supports returning kids. Why, ??? Money😮 If parental rights are dismissed, the court pays for the child's upbringing.

It’s really difficult to watch this unfold. All I can think about is how her child will be raised. Plus her other child was already taken away from her.

unless its a different person i googled this and the article said the baby went to one hospital and the baby did suffer trauma and so it was transported to another hospital. the person who told the police took out a protective order on this woman. i wonder what the truth is.

There were more than a few media stories about this incident. The child was taken to St. Joe's he was stabilized and then CPS took over. She has very serious charges facing her.
Thank god! She shouldn't be allowed to have that child ever again

Is he an EMT or a Paramedic? Paramedics are highly trained at what sign to look for. He said there is no visible injuries. Of course a deeper look at the child will tell the full story.

3:25 I’m pretty sure she’s not going to lose her son, or at least not permanently. Our judicial system tends to temporarily take children at first, but returns them to the natural parents. That’s not always the best thing to do, but I’ve seen it done many times.

She was angry with the father of her child for dumping her, so she took it out on the baby. A common thing I am seeing more of in today's society where women care more about men than their children, is disgraceful. Thank God the baby was ok.
