- Two New Mexico men were struggling with Summer heat when they decided to steal an air conditioner from their local Lowe's. Unfortunately for them, an off-duty Border Patrol agent was at the home improvement store and watched their thievery unfold. Watch bodycam footage showing how these two thieves stopped at nothing to try to get away. Both suspects were arrested and pleaded guilty to interference with commerce by threats or violence.

FYI: Prior to this incident, Joshua Lopez also robbed a GameStop, stole an Xbox after punching a female employee in the face. He's a real piece of work...and s hit.

Police said the air conditioner was taken to a local repairman where its fluid levels were checked, and an IVw ith a freon recharge was given. The air conditioner is expected to make a full recovery.

She is the enabler, incourages, and pretends to be a caring mother who has no knowledge of his son's crime spree. She directed those boys to steal that AC unit for her residence. When her son ends up dead from a gun fight, she will waste no time suing the city, and it's police department. Las Cruces, NM is a revolving door judicial system, where DA, ADA, and the judges cuddle criminals, let them out on PR bonds for felonies charges, and ignore the rule of law.

"Interference with commerce by threats or violence" involves using those threats or violence to disrupt or interfere with business activities. Essentially, it's when someone uses force or intimidation to interfere with the normal flow of business, such as by threatening a business owner or their employees to extort money or coerce them into taking certain actions. It's a federal offense and can result in serious penalties. Basically, him pulling the gun to threaten the employees in the course of their job is what made it worse than just simple theft.

That CBP Agent still helped the investigation, even if he didn't have his off-duty gun on him, by identifying the getaway vehicle and suspect(s). They receive the same, initial/basic LE training at FLETC like other federal agents.
