Hey Chris, I’m looking at all of your wonderful equipment that you’ve worked so hard for and remembering when you use to use a lot of Uncle John’s. Really happy for your well-deserved success! Enjoying this new clearing job and it’s looking great.
I would be a nervous wreck. I could just see it smashing a building. You always seem calm about it,no stress at all. You and Cottontop3 never seem worried about that tree against the house and a power line on the other side. I tip my hat to your skill.
Got done organizing and clearing out our kitchen from my Wife's disastrous mess and sat down with a mug of coffee and there's a new episode of Chris continuing to clearing the area on the old horse ranch. A sure pleasure to watch early evening.
When I was in the business years ago I got tired of having to haul all the sweetgum to the landfill and burn it. Got to searching online for woodyards out of state and called up a few. Found out there was some pretty good demand for it. One guy offered to send a truck if I had a full load of nice saw logs...said he could pay about 3k. Something to look into ? Money coming in is better than expense of burning and hauling.
Like a dentist pulling stubborn molars out the jaw bones. Balloons are racking up here. Your motions are very gracefull, just a true pleasure to watch a master work.
That cabin and its setting, is something that the wife and I had dreamed of retiring to for years. Sadly, with everything going on, only a dream. Beautiful piece of property. Only made more so by Chris. Thanks for sharing.
The next Workday on the Abandoned Farm.! The Trunk from the Root out Trees on the Motortruck load. And the next Trees root out. A Work what still Days to last to be. You work however Perfect. The Video with the to Explain first Class. Thanks. 👌
Getting that area opened up is making it look better. I bet there were lots of fireflys there in the warm spring evenings. Your last tight spot was cussing tall pines crowded next to a power line a few years ago - since then ' no big deal'.
Hi Chris it is fascinating to watch you working around all of these buildings the job site is looking better already your opening it up beautifully and it's great to see a artist at work, thanks for another great video.
With your "Love" of the chainsaw, maybe you could talk DP into loaning his new Limbinator to you for jobs like these 🙂 That looks like a saw up your alley.
Looking at the grapple, have you seen the monster one lifting the bridge sections at the Baltimore Bridge collapse, huge,I can imagine Chris at the controls.
It's amazing what land looks like after it's cleaned up correctly. Nice to get to sell the pulp wood to. Fires are awesome. I'd say money for a few gallons of diesel is to
Chris the part time Lumberjack. I do like watching Chris harvesting trees for pulpuliye and lumber. Takes a talented and experience Individual like Chris to do it right.
Opening on up now Chris !! looking good Man !! Little tight by that little shed !! lolol... Great as always Man !! Have a Great Evening, And, On too the Next !! Got to go Tornado Warning for us here in Hopkins Co. Ky... loolololol... Hate these storms !!
The grapple makes handling logs much easier, it’s nice to have 2 machines to do the work just right Sure don’t want to go back to working with just 1 machine. You didn’t need that mirror Thank you Sir for the video
What's wrong folks? 11 thousand people watched this video in the first hour, but only 2500 could be bothered to press the like button! Get on the ball and support Chris and his hard work putting these vids out for us to enjoy.
This is what I did to my stumper. I took the torch and made a knife edge on the front side and it made a hell of a difference cutting through the roots and put a thick piece of angle iron on the tooth that way if you do have to lift up it will cut it. You won’t regret doing it I promise you. That’s my two cents for the day.
There are several types of gum trees, this is just sweetgum I believe. I don't know if it's american sweetgum or just sweetgum by the name. They have been crossbreeding gum trees from all around the world for better paper supply, fast growing and so on. The dark center grain is typical, doubtful this has to do with age.
@@mula2626 I know you are trying to be smart but in all actuallity I did say this on the first video he uploaded about the graple. He got more then one attachment from Indeco at the time (like his mower head for the mini-ex) so I assume they reached out to him to try their product so he probably got both at a discount. I am just guessing, I don't know that for sure.
Your doin' a great job on your videos, I've been subscribed since many years. But only 1 or2 comments lost track of how many. I just thought I'd let you know about the "Blooper" I caught at "14:59 with a reference to the Hyundai as a 3030" ??
My job was keep equipment clean as best as i could do greaseing swamp tracts keep cabs an windows clean make sure drinking water on job an if had time keep boss's truck clean up mud out bed Stuff like that chainsaws full of gas an sharp ha ha would let me Burn any fires things like that he would keep me busey it was good job i always thought
I don’t know what your plan is for the logs, but you could take them to a virgin fiber mill and make a little money. Unless they don’t take those kinds of logs.
we had a friend come in and mulch a section of our yard with his mulching head on his skidsteer and after it was said and done i went down to see the results and sure enough there lies a balloon
Maybe someone can help me I'm just curious about the pulp logs Chris saves on some of his bigger clearing jobs. What species of trees grow in the area he works? Do all the logs fetch the same price or are some species more valuable than others, like pine verses oak for instance? On some jobs he sends several truckloads off. Thanks for any replies. Cheers from down under🇦🇺
The amount of work you accomplish single handed is amazing! But I can’t understand that you own $1.5-$2 million in equipment and don’t have a full time employee? 2 people working together, are 3 times more efficient than 1 guy by himself. I know this because I worked solo for my first year or so. Keep the great videos coming. I enjoy and watch them all.
Drop bears are native to Australia. Banned from importation to the US as invasive species. There would be too many logging injuries from inexperienced sawyers.😂😂

So glad to see the grapple getting used. Perfect situational time with multiple machines on site and lots of logs to manage.
It's fun watching the land emerge from the tangled woods. Nice save of the shed. Thanks for sharing with us all, Chris.
Got done organizing and clearing out our kitchen from my Wife's disastrous mess and sat down with a mug of coffee and there's a new episode of Chris continuing to clearing the area on the old horse ranch.
A sure pleasure to watch early evening.
That grapple was a good purchase for you, looks like it makes things much easier to deal with the logs.

That's going to be a beautiful place after everything is clean and repairs are done. Great work Chris 👍.

Even low quality logs help. For you, the trucker and mill.

Love to watch you toss stuff!
Sure is more emjoyable to watch trees coming down than thst old Animal Hospital job breaking up big ol rocks LOL
It always amazes what the right tool at the right time can accomplish!
That grapple certainly makes things a lot easier 🤔😁
the breakfast burp is priceless!!!!
I’ll give it about a 7😂
Good morning everyone I hope you all enjoy your day we are having some cold weather now it's late autumn in Australia ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂😂
Australia and cold just doesn't sound right 😂
I am in Tasmania close to the mountains
Cold like 30 F or 30 C ? Winter is the only time I could visit. Those 40+ days would kill me.
It's 8 degrees c this morning
17 degrees Celsius in BC Canada. :)
Job well done 👍🏻 at 13:06 love how you said swing 😂
Great video Chris. Lots of different things to see.

Looks like the cat needs to be let loose. :) Thank you and have a great day.
Well atleast you are keeping the sawmill in business.
That 330 is a true beast in the hands of the maestro 👍😎
I really like watching you do your jobs, I appreciate the daily up dates, thanks for doing so.
Goodie a new video, been watching the older ones
Really enjoying these videos Chris! Love these clearing projects! Keep up the great job!👏
Great seeing the equipment getting used in different jobs...Some size of roots on them trees....Stay safe and catch you soon
Love that home tucked away in the woods.
Great job, trees are no problem for the big boy excavator, opening the property, looks good.just keep doing what your doing.be safe 😎😎😎👍👍👍
Love the videos and as always keep up the great work!
Looking at the grapple, have you seen the monster one lifting the bridge sections at the Baltimore Bridge collapse, huge,I can imagine Chris at the controls.
Love your videos man!
Getting through the trees well bro and that fancy claw on the 220 sure helps too. Safe travels. Ken.

cleaning up nice Chris.. house is looking good amongst the trees you are leaving
Chris you work is always flawless. Good job today.
Nice video Chris.
It's like coming home from grade school and playing with toy equipment in the dirt. :)
Nice work.
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO CHRIS 😊

Sure don’t want to go back to working with just 1 machine. You didn’t need that mirror
Thank you Sir for the video
For every Ballon found, you could replace it with a new one ,like Tie a yellow Balloon around the old oak trees 😅
You are learning that grapple.

Three balloons - let's party! Grapple makes life easier. 330 was needed on this job - some of those trees are monsters with same roots.
Cool! It's The Claw!!!! :)
Looking good now
good video
Gotta name the 330. I say Bam Bam is a good choice because Bam Bam didn't know his own strength. (and he was always carrying a big stick.)
LetsDig18!

Man look at all that firewood I could put my new splitter to work with that
26:05 It's not the end of the world if there are fewer Bradford Pears around...
Do you like the large trees or the small ones like on B.G. property to remove ?👍🏻🇺🇲
Thanks for the video Chris like it man .
Good job with the tree removal.
Best operator l have seen, and I have seen a lot
thanks
How much is wood like that worth? Great work as always
Chris, you bring some normalcy and sanity to life with all the crazy political BS nonsense and legal warfare going on. Thank you for what you do.
Amen!
🎉
Chris your log grab, was thinking on one of the tynes to weld a knife for slicing off missed branches etc.
Where is Logger Wade when you need him 😆😂
You need a tree harvester attachment! When they first came out early 90’s maybe they like 100,000 couldnt imagine what they cost now
Do gum trees normally have a darker center or are these trees about at the end of their lives? Amazing progress.
Healthy growing trees. Color is normal. Sweet gum.
All except the dynamite
MM77 Approved 👍🏼👍🏼
I was gritting my teeth and pulling on the controls with you on a couple of those root balls ! Hope you know where the septic field is !
🤗❤️👍
Loved it. Like watching a puzzle come to
Life. New piece every day❤❤❤❤❤
You should have got a rotobec head so you could have the saw on the head along with the grapple. It would save all the headache of and cutting.
Why didn’t you tell him before. I’m sure he would’ve listened to you.

Are there any large snakes in that area?? I have not noticed any.
The nimble and fast ones survive.
I don’t know what your plan is for the logs, but you could take them to a virgin fiber mill and make a little money. Unless they don’t take those kinds of logs.
Trees look a whole lot bigger when you are standing next to them, versus the view from the cab of the excavator
Hum you need a thumb on that root ripper - it would be a knife edge that cuts roots when needed. Just a thought and maybe you have to make one.
I’m sure you know better than he.
@@mula2626 No but seeing you fight small limbs after sawing seemed an axe thumb or the like would be handy.
Yes those are big trees Peace out
Could any of those gum trees be cut and sold for fire wood?
we had a friend come in and mulch a section of our yard with his mulching head on his skidsteer and after it was said and done i went down to see the results and sure enough there lies a balloon
Have you considered a feller-buncher for jobs like this? Granted you still have to take the stumps out...
Is this our first time seeing the grapple hook being used to load logs?
Maybe someone can help me I'm just curious about the pulp logs Chris saves on some of his bigger clearing jobs. What species of trees grow in the area he works? Aussie-mate 🙂
Would a little bit of a sharp edge on your root buster help you make less attempts..?
Looking like a job
What do they do with all them stumps?

Chris maybe I misheard, but I thought I heard you say you were getting something for the 330 to help with clearing? What's the 411?
Did you check for drop bears in the gum trees before you fell them? 🤔🧐
Drop bears are native to Australia. Banned from importation to the US as invasive species. There would be too many logging injuries from inexperienced sawyers.😂😂
Did you help design the thumb on your 220
