Can you just imagine what it would have been like to bring down those samplings before they added operational thumbs to excavators? Good tools + world class operators who know what they're doing & do it right = happy & satisfied customers = YOU GET PAID. Well done as always, Chris.
Whats even more baffling, even to this day a lot of countries refuse to adapt to the thumbs and wont add them or even make them available as an option.
I know what it was like. A team of men with chainsaws, axes, machetes, and maybe a tractor and a chain. That mulcher alone does the work of at least a half dozen laborers.
Chris used to run machines with fixed mechanical thumbs, his Hitachi and some of John's older machines as well. He did a clot of clearing without a hydraulic thumb back in the day.
Good morning, Chris! (and Robert!) Now, THAT was a fun video! A little bit of everything going on. Clearing, mulching, ROCKS and a steep grade! AND, not nearly done and you've got your signature meticulousness put on it already. Hope to see the finished product! Thank the Good Lord your gloves were EMPTY when they got mulched! Hope you all have a GREAT weekend!
Chris has a one stop shop. Selling dirt, mulching and tree cutting. Nice little job close to home. Little Mini doing a good job. Great mulcher. Robert helping is a plus. Thanks Chris Good video. Already cut and baled your hay. That was a quick.
Great job as usual, Chris. Robert and you work together really well. It was nice seeing both the hay and the roof of the cabin while you were loading topsoil. This was a fun one, and thank you for sharing.
Hey Chris... Catching up on your vids over the past couple weeks since I had an unwelcome stay at the hospital for awhile to take care of heart and a severely bleeding ulcer which caused me to loose 2/3rds of my blood, so 2 units transfusion and a few days later finally back home enjoying Lets Dig 18 !!! 😅👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
From this video, we can see all kinds of productivity. Tree and brush cleared(great team work)1st cutting of hay(good-looking yield), and the start of the leveling process. Great Entertainment.
I never seace to be impressed with the minni. Expecially taking down the big clumps of trees and that last stump was amazing. I also like it when you get Betty awake and she gets to have fun after a long nap. Great job and it's going to be a nice little project.
Ever consider adding (I know these are not cheap attachments/machines) a large 24"+ capacity mobile chipper and a large rotating shear to your array of land clearing equipment allowing you to chip and spread all organic (Trees, Brush, and Stumps) from land clearing jobs as an added benifit to land owners as all the organic materials would compost back into soil and greatly improve quality of topsoil w/o any burning as shear and chipper would make quick work of even the largest of stumps? Seems to me that this add on process would be especially attractive to farmers and ranchers who could start disking and mixing mulch into top layer immediatly greatly speeding up composting process and getting land ready for crops w/o much need to add expensive soil admendments to land you clear and grade? Ray
Strawberry and Betty gets its' first work out of the year. :) Did you bring in more bales of hay this year and are you going to get a second crop? Thank you and have a great week.
Looks like a good crop of hay there too bro. You and Robert work well together also and good to see you are able to use John's truck when available. Safe travels. Ken.
IT'S BEEN A WHILE SINCE I LAST SAW THIS TRUCK 🚚 CHRIS....I CAN REMEMBER SOME OF THEM EPIC JOBS THAT YOU WERE ON!!!...THE TRUCK STILL LOOKS GREAT 👍 👌 🎉🎉....
Interesting Work! Three little Machine what perfect for this Work. Where You with the Excavator root out the Trees and Brushwood to the Mulching. What is good then the Root can6 not more to Drive out. Then Mulching You the complete Branch and little Trees. Clear, Drive Earth here and grading all. However a Perfect Work. And the House have again Sun. The Video Excellent.
Caught a glimpse of Robert at the start of the video. Hope he makes an important contribution than just a cameraman. Great you included Robert in the video. Consider sticking the Go Pro on his machine...we'll get to watch his operating skills. Thanks.
Here you are on the mini... And just a video or two ago you were commenting on the 220 feeling underpowered compared to the 330 for bringing down trees!!!
Thank God for good relaxing videos from Letdig18. Can't listen to the circus show news of these days, about makes me sick. Always a great selection of groovy sounding music to listen to. Have a great day.
Yanmar did good but you really need to sit it down and show it one of your videos of the 330 stumping and explain that this is the performance you expect of it.
"It works better when it is plugged in" as my colleague said to some big-wigs when we were showing some new technology project to them - of course, only after having FAILED to make it work without being plugged in - this was in the early 1990's before many things worked without being plugged in.
Glad to see you using the murcher again. Not yet at the level that Daven [ Idigit4 ] is, but your doing better🙂 I agree when working in a confined space the mulchewr is the better piece of equiptment to use..Laughing when Chris says gotta jump start bettery, and then he notices the charger is not plugged in, " well you do have to plug it in, it helps" 🙂.Noticed your field is all cut and rolled. almost ready for the second planting?? Breat that Betty is still being used, the ole girl still has some life in her.
I miss seeing uncle John. It’s good that you can borrow his dump truck from time to time.
I miss seeing uncle john too. I thought i was the only one. And i liked the type of varied work they did together.
Chris, the Maestro of heavy equipment, is truly a force of nature! I liked the drum mulcher the best 👍😎

“Saplings”
@@danreuther1446 Sorry, only word I could think of at the moment. Can't really call them trees or bushes, can we?

Nice to see Betty earning her keep. 😄
Great job as usual, Chris. Robert and you work together really well. It was nice seeing both the hay and the roof of the cabin while you were loading topsoil. This was a fun one, and thank you for sharing.
What an attractive serene back door vista this owner enjoys, nice place to call home. Ray
Wow... amazing what you can accomplish with smaller equipment!

That mulcher is like having a herd of goats and troop of beavers ready to go. 🤣🤣
Loved when you said, rocks are bad for the mulcher!
Looks like Big John has been using that dump truck a lot lately 👍 Tell Mr John 👋
Nice little job for a couple of days. Have a good one Chris, take care and God Bless!!!❤😊
Definitely a truly unique and wonderful day, as the track loader working, and look at all the hay bales, 😀 absolutely amazing episode Chris, 😀.
Good to see Betty again! Fine job on that rocky backyard,! as usual for you.
Got your round bales done and selling dirt off your property. Well done. I hated tight spaces but never had to worry about rock too. Crazy.
Lots of bales, nice one
Good to see Betty back in action again. She is still a workhorse for an old girl.
That mini is getting the job done. Never underestimate a mini x. Great job bud. Keep moving earth Brother.

It's good to see these mini-jobs, tighter and requires more finesse but it pays the same ...
That mini did better than I expected!
Very happy to see that you are not working ALONE during this episode.
Such Great Control!!! Thanks again for sharing! Let's Dig 18,,,Over and Over AGAIN ❤
It looks like you got o good crop of hay from that field of your farm !! Good to see. Greetings from Australia

Looks like a nice cutting of hay off the field! 29:20

Strawberry and Betty gets its' first work out of the year. :) Did you bring in more bales of hay this year and are you going to get a second crop? Thank you and have a great week.
Good teamwork on the mulching!
Looks like a good crop of hay there too bro. You and Robert work well together also and good to see you are able to use John's truck when available. Safe travels. Ken.
Gonna have to build Betty a half moon canvas shed! Let’s get on it before I turn you in for “Elder Abuse”
🤙🇺🇲👍Aloha's from the Big island 🏝
Show Chris some 🥰 hit that LIKE button!
Nicely done, watching the mulching view, reminds me of a giant salad shooter.
IT'S BEEN A WHILE SINCE I LAST SAW THIS TRUCK 🚚 CHRIS....I CAN REMEMBER SOME OF THEM EPIC JOBS THAT YOU WERE ON!!!...THE TRUCK STILL LOOKS GREAT 👍 👌 🎉🎉....
I miss the old days when it was Chris, his Uncle John & Timmy. Goes to show how many years I've been watching Chris.
Let the yanmar do the work to day handy with the thumb do the handling making short work of the roots and trees Chris
Chris if you keep doing jobs like this you may need a stumper for the mini! Great job. Thanks.
Once again you did an amazing job. Thinking your next “investment” will be a dump truck.
That already looks a lot better guys.
YOU DA MAN CHRIS

Good progress on this backyard project!
Sounds like the belt needs a little adjusting on that mulched. Great job, y'all work great together.
Here you are on the mini... And just a video or two ago you were commenting on the 220 feeling underpowered compared to the 330 for bringing down trees!!!
Bet bet you miss the power of the 330 when using the mini, but they sure do come in handy for jobs like this
Good morning Chrisand Robert
That Yanmar may be a mini, but she sure has the soul of a 330!
Love the videos and as always keep up the great work!
Nice little clearing, filling and leveling job for Chris.
Almost relaxing for Chris.
No pressure time wise.
Got the makings for a nice stone wall
Interesting job, viewing from County SLIGO Ireland 🇮🇪 😎🤠🚲📷✍
Smaller assets of the LetsDig18 fleet at work - except of course Betty got to show in. Nice number of hay bales there too.
Enjoyed the videos,..it is less time consuming with these amazing pieces of equipment,.one can only imagine how long it took back in the day,..
You got ALL the cool toys! Good Job!
Boa noite meu amigo like confirmado Tmj abraço
Thank God for good relaxing videos from Letdig18. Can't listen to the circus show news of these days, about makes me sick. Always a great selection of groovy sounding music to listen to. Have a great day.
Thanks for posting Chris. I did say bless you when Robert sneezed but I doubt he heard me. :)
That mulcher make quick work of that brush
Those chips will make great habitat for copperheads!! Ha.
Nice to see you doing some smaller jobs for a change.
With all those dead leaves on the ground it already looked like fabulous copperhead habitat. I hope Chris mulched a bunch of them.
great video of using the mini & mulcher.. the hay bales look good.. thanks for sharing !
Job well done 👍🏻
Nice to see the carcass of your ill fated pickup still laying beside betty .
The smaller the job, the more help needed :-)
Great ideal using the mini and the mulcher together.
Not a pound video. Thank God.
Very nice job!
Good job Chris...stay safe and catch you soon
Great job as always we need some of them Rocks
Some nice hay bales to see you through the winter. Are you going to oversaw with a new variety?

LetsMulch18!
That stump was tenacious, but Robert loosened it up for you. 😁

Hi Chris strawberry shortcake that’s one strong mini great job as well
How's uncle John doing, miss seeing him in your videos.
Nice job. Thanks
Had a flashback to that what was it, animal shelter(?) project seeing when you mentioned rock. Luckily this isn't that kind of a job.
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO CHRIS 😊
Thanks for the video
Looks like you got your Hay bailed how much you end up with for 1st cutting
2:08.., God bless ya
I see your hay came in. Looks good
Nice video Chris.
Man, I didn’t know the Yanmar could handle trees that big. Of course, the operator makes a difference.😂
Ole Mike would have fun on this job (Morgan)
That sure looks like poison ivy vines in those trees. I hope you are taking precautions to not inhale the dust when mulching.
I love that yanmar
Have you searched Marketplace for a stumper for the mini yet? 😎
