Another video from you that gives you goosebumps from start to finish. What great treasures, just a pity no one is saving this! At 9.00, that's a motor becane that had only built moped´s and mokick´s in the last few years of production. Thanks for this great video! cheeRS Klaus from Düsseldorf
Well that video was absolutely amazing, all the cars and contents in the house. Those cars as you said would be worth a fortune now. And so much personal stuff just left still makes me feel sad and I have now watched most of your videos Colin. Its great you document these places so we can all view them.Look forward to next weeks.Take care.😃
What can I say? This is an amazing location with all the contents in the house and the classic cars, some of which are worth a lot of money to the right people. This is one of the best explores I’ve seen recently. Thanks for taking us there. It’s sad that all this has been left behind.
Evening Colin! Another brilliant find, and upload. The mind runs wild, as to why such Locations are abruptly vacated, but what an amazing Location, and Car Collection. That Staircase! Looking forward to the next upload.
My mum had a ds safari estate in the seventies….was a spaceship travelled in amazing comfort from London all the way to scotland singing She’ll be coming round the mountain when she comes…..awesome car. Headlights turned with steering wheel too and hydro pneumatic suspension licensed to rolls Royce’s!
The ESF badge stands for "École de Ski Française" its a badge you get when learning how to ski. Thats a 3 stars one. The owner must have been french, the motobecane bike is a bike my dad used to have with his friends, it was the trendy bike back then
The shoes were for the Mods in the 70s & 80s plus. They wore those and had small scooter type motorbikes that still exist. They had skin heads and Mohican hair cuts with different coloured hair. Amazing finds
That cute Robin! What a find!! I always wonder how you find these mysterious places, but I'm glad you do!!! I know nothing about Cars but I'm learning more from you. Can't wait for the next one. 👍🏚🚗🚜🛵🚙
Who wouldn't love Citroen DS, I could take one anyday.. Despite small decays in sealings house looks to be quite decent condition. Those model cars are really gems of this place and can have some actual value.
Big respect to whoever did the shuttering for the concrete spiral staircase, I don't think that was intended to be an attic. DS safari reminded me of my dentist as a child in 1970's, he had one with a weird double number plate on the back. I'd get one or two fillings every 6 months, he was an animal- left my molars looking like Jaws off moonraker!
I agree that concrete stair case was bad ass . Wonder how they pulled it off, rebarb my guess but to bend that rebarb u would think would be thick to with stand no railing , ?
Bro, this place is an absolute treasure find! UNBELIEVABLE!!!! I'd love to go through all that and admire everything with you and of course, is love to take things home, build some of those models but that would be wrong. Taking something from someone's home that is not given to you creates karma that you have to deal with at some point in your life..
Cool find the family were also into model trains at one stage as there was a joeuf turntable beside the matchbox kit car, joeuf was a french company which closed down many years ago 👍
First time commenting but I've followed you for a couple of years, I started for the golfs and beamers as I'm a massive vw enthusiast, but I felt I needed to say this, your a true gent pal with your videos you treat everything with the upmost respect, it's fantastic to see keep up the good work dude 💪✌️👍
What a shame these places get like this, i must say, the converted ambulance looked like ecto-1 lol. What a find, the first bedroom you went into looked as it had a Google Maps plane but purposely built. Brilliant 👍
I noticed in the garage where the DS ambulance is, the ceiling is block and beam construction, which indicates the house is above. This would date the build as 1970’s at oldest. It could be an extension built onto an existing property, I’m wondering if the unfinished part is above the garage?
Teddy boys in England used to have those type of shoes in the fifties and sixties, they were called beetle-crushers, still popular to this day, originally went with skin-tight, drain-pipe trousers . Those models look very good and complete too, but I think the packaging is just as important to a collector.
Looks like the owner has passed away ,possibly overseas and his estate is wondering where on earth the family fortune went. The Red thing @ 18:03 is a Russian Samovar . They have a small burner in the bottom and you keep tea hot in them. That could be brass or silver under the red paint .
Hi James ! very nice to see you out with colin, this place is just omg so much stuff, id be there all day just looking through stuff lol i couldnt do the stares not even sober lol dont like heights lol but there is so many little things just all over the place, i agree maybe he bought the place and was fixing it little by little, you said the neighborhood was posh so you would think he would have been some what well off and no clue why family didnt come and fix the house, just odd, loved it Colin thank you as always
This was so cool! Those cars were incredible. This at one point would have been a really lovely house I would imagine. I also, do get the feeling though it was never properly finished. Maybe the owner decided to go back to France or something?
In the late 60's early 70's I had a toy citreon ds estate with a roof rack and a sledge that came off and when you opened the tailgate, there was a little rubber man in a laying down position with a helmet on and his hands gripped on to the sledge. I don't think it was a Matchbox toy, most probably a Dinkytoy.
Did your pals Citroen sit low to the ground when parked , then when started would rise up on the suspension ? as i can remember that on my friends Citroen
May I suggest you slow down with camera , making me dizzy , n one of the things I spend hrs on watching these is to see what is left behind , antiques, rare items , wood work n past history of the products , furniture etc , this is the one with all the cars n ambulance but I didn't hardly see shit , may of just jogged threw the house , sorry to be rude but I love this shit ,
Well did not think you would ever find a Kawasaki. Well it was in a box ? Had three in my bike time 250 cc 500 cc And the last one was the 750 cc the widow maker . All two storks. But the one two stork i had the longest was the Suzuki 250 cc Hustler. until a cop did a U turn right in front of me, hit the Panda door and went over the car roof . And that was the end of that bike .
It was a person who liked cars and played music with other musicians. He had multitudes of projects going on one, after the other. He was probably divorced and had lots of things to do to keep the kids happy and occupied when they were there. He needed to get money out of those cars for paying alimony etc. He had all this going on until burning the candle at both ends took its toll. 😟 Oh, and if this was a Columbo episode, Colin touched that gun for all to see because he needed to cover for the fact that his fingerprints were on it after it was used to bump off the ex who was sucking the man dry and making his life miserable. 😬😁
It is but all are probably rotted, rusted & irreparable. Cost more to repair it than we think. May aswell scrap them as hard as it is to accept. May be able to salvage some parts here and there but would it be worth the bother. Its a shame.
I like to watch/explore with you and see what turns up. It's a shame you always seem to show all the good bits right at the start so there's not so much intrigue for the viewers when you actually find things during the video. Just saying. 🙃
What's happened??? To your VW Golf van, red one. And the reliant three wheel van, have you got them running yet ???? Back on the road. Will you be showing people what you will be doing with them.
Looks like my head, full of music , cars, art and obsessive fixations, I'm very interested in those guitars
18:42 not a chance lads😂everything is amazing but quite sad and the robin coming back in is a friendly sign thank you for sharing brilliant 😊

Thanks for sharing Colin 🤜🤛

Thanks Colin 😉🙌🏻

Amazing explorer this week. Some old finds too.
The Motobecane motorcycle is a single-cylinder, probably a Z46 from the 1950s.
Also, the Matchbox/AMT 1957 Ford Thunderbird kit was issued in 1981.
Always a brilliant watch Colin, thankyou.
Thanks for this one. An amazing place. I could easily watch this again right away 😮 🙏🏻
Thank you for another amazing explore really enjoyed watching
The little ESF badge is to do with skiing schools for kids in France. Maybe he had been an instructor?
Love this latest video, would quite happily take the model kits away and preserve them.
Cool place Colin good investigation some good finds cool Citroen's should think the ambulance is really rare ....👍
That Honda civic!!!!!!
Great video Colin well worth waiting for more epic stuff 😎👍😎

Such a great day at this place! I’m going to have to try and contact him and save all of them now.
Je viens de voir cette visite chez Gabriel et Corentin ,mais ton spot est plus complet sur les voitures !
The E30 tho what a car
Cool find the family were also into model trains at one stage as there was a joeuf turntable beside the matchbox kit car, joeuf was a french company which closed down many years ago 👍
Matchbox bought AMT kits in the 1970s and this kit was available in 1979😊
awesome video, thank you
What a great house and grounds special cars too 👏

We used to call them brothel creepers.
@@ashmaybe9634 we were still a bit repressed in those days and never mentioned things like brothels.
They were also popular with Punk Rock kids like myself in the late 70s.
Winkle pickers too

Wow not sure I could walk up those stairs sober! Lol
Hi Colin & James.
That was so cool to see those Citroens.
Wow what a place
oh i would love to build that model kit of a DS19 ..
Awesome video thanks
Everytime he say Citroen DS have a sip of your drink
Wow what a shame that this place has been left to rot. The owner was obviously french. All the cars and books in french.
@@Cascroft-lp6ir Oh I didn't know. Thought it was in England.
Every motor heads dream eh Colin?
Yes them model kits are worth good money..
Wow awesome ty for sharing
The Thunderbird kit was made in around 1975
Some car collection. Sad that they are just rotting away. Someone like d their cars. Shame. ❤
Love your exploring videos..its always awesome.. Loads of love from India ❤
Fabulous
The ambulance has the most unique steering wheel ive ever seen
All pre 2000 Citroens had similar single spoke steering wheels
@@kev8943 did not know that thank you
Check out the steering wheel on the Citroen XM ;)

Thanks Cathy! I had a great time at this place!
Didnt Hightower from Police Academy rip the front seat out of a Honda Civic so he could drive it ?
Ha ha just seen one of your stickers in poole Harbour on a bin
It should be a crime to leave those rare cars to rot like that😢
It’s a shame they can’t be rescued and restored 🙂
Motobecane was founded in 1923 and bankrupt in 1981
My father and all his friends had one
This was so cool! Those cars were incredible. This at one point would have been a really lovely house I would imagine. I also, do get the feeling though it was never properly finished. Maybe the owner decided to go back to France or something?
Those wedge sole shoes were unofficially called brothel creepers 😂

cool place
Have a snoop around, bur don’t throw stuff around lads
Do you ever find out the back story of why the houses got into that state?
Great video watch this 29th of June 23

Oh and have you ever considered you could find a body in one of these properties?
That house would have been an absolute Pallas at some point… bad Citroen pun there 🥁
Did your pals Citroen sit low to the ground when parked , then when started would rise up on the suspension ? as i can remember that on my friends Citroen
👍👍👍
Well hello james :)
Hey Colin, what's going down with you and IMSTOKZE?
matchbox kit 1970s made in the uk

petrol head heaven
Motobecane 1950s 125cc single. Possibly a Z46. Love an old BMW
can't you get hold of someone to save all these cars and bikes, its such a waste
