Thanks for this vid! I've seen those BNN discs on Amazon but they all state disclaimers. Something along the lines of it can damage your machine. After using these discs for several years now, have they ever altered the functionality of your machine?
The patent must be up for the ronco pasta maker... all these other companies have been coming out with their own in the last few years... I just scored an original ronco one, complete like new condition, from a local thrift store for $7!!
Ronco went belly up. Replacement parts are hard to come by but some are available on eBay. You still got a good buy and have not lost much if you decide pasta making is not for you. Good luck.

In their ebay account they write it is compatible for avance collection, but not for viva. Did you buy also the one that they said is not compatible for viva, but it actually is, or you found the discs that they made specialy for Viva collection? Thanks
Does the machine get hot and need to rest before making another batch? I only need this small model but would like to know this in the event I need to work the machine double for party size. Thank you.
You should be ok for multiple batches 5ish ….. but will get hot if you planning to use if for commercial usage. If planning to use it regularly, I would recommend the bigger unit which is more solidly built

After having done quite a bit of googling and reading up - the disc diameter for the Larger Philips vs. the Viva machines are different. So be careful to find the RIGHT one. It seems that the larger machine has MORE discs widely available by various 3rd party sellers online vs. the Viva. Hard to find.
Are you meaning "Advance"? I also just saw the Etsy site for BNN - did you get the right disc? It seems the label each disc type according to the machine model. It did take me a while to figure it out while browsing their site.

When cleaning the unit, wait for any remaining dough to dry up and remove by hand before washing. Make it so much easier.
