@@ryzenpeak I'm sorry, you modify a car to be unable to drive properly, burn rubber and gas like crazy. It's cool when the Australians do it because, well, they aren't overcrowded with Ridiculously tight roads and packed cities. They said "We don't give a FUUUUUU" to the Oil Crises. In the U.S, it's inspired people to do it on public roads, and is populated mostly by wealthy individuals.

Hello Filman. The reasons why trucks have those raised intakes (or as you put it, snorkels) is to limit dust and other particulates from going into the engine (atleast in australia). in other parts of the world its alot more uncommon.
In case you don’t know what Topkick means,it’s the name of the Model that the truck is based off of,the GMC TopKick
Also the things sticking out of the air filters are sometimes used to get more air+act as a snorkel if for whatever reason your truck has to go through water (especially common in Australia) oh yeah and also aesthetics
hmmm maybe is queensland, but wading through water is quite uncommon, and so are dust storms that require bigger filters. I feel you'd lose more money to the inefficient drag, than lost with the time to put them on when needed

no need to donate, but I'm not sure how low memory causes that issue unless you have like 8gb or less of ram

When it comes to truck mods, how about a load mod where you can increase or decrease the weight of the load at the push of a button without having to go into the vehicle configurator and wait for the vehicle to be reloaded, which is particularly problematic if you are currently You've finished putting together the train, but you realize, oh, something still needs to be changed, but if I do that now, you'll mess up all the other things again. and maybe a few typically Australian road train trailers?

Bringing up the truck wheel again reminded me of how much Neilogical has been saying BeamNG has some of the best buses. Which then reminded me of "The Big Bus," a movie from 1976 about an atomic powered bus. Think a cruise ship... but on land. I know it's impossible, I don't think there's a single road, modded or otherwise, that it would fit on in the game, but I'd still kinda love to see someone try to make that for Beam one day.

I also think theyre gonna sell a fuck ton of those truck wheels considering its the only one on the market and there are a huge amount of ETS2 players
I don't know about that because many of the existing players had fanatec stuff, so it'd be more likely to get newer players who aren't invested into any particular setup yet
also, I agree, and I think that may go on some of my first merch... we'll see if it sells any lol

With big trucks, you have to use the low high gear when above 2nd gear.
Now my tiny 2.1 meter, budget car with plastic bumpers can have a (comically oversized) 15L i6 and and an extra set of duallys, (because overcompensation)
Fun fact(at least some people might think it’s fun😂): the topkick trucks were offered with an 8.1 v8 gas engine

(sorry i am a little bit behind)Day 7 of commenting: You probably wont do it, but anyway. Here is a car Suggestion if you want: the Xiaomi su7. There are 3 variants of it, different in their Performance. I thought,that it would be a bit more of a Challenge if you would be able to switch modes in that car. But while driving, so you press a button and you can select between the Performance and the Suspension settings(like race mode with hard Suspension and comfort with soft ones). I thought Maybe 3 modes,and each mode should match the Performance of the 3 variants of the su7.

The shifting issue. it does that sometimes, even if it is in arcade mode it forgets that it should shift with manual when it is mulpiple vehicles on the map, and you can't shift with the shifter keys because it is in arcade mode :-D But you can fix it if you sit in the other vehicle and back.

hmmmmm I remember when they announced it, and wondered why it only had the 1 wheel option, but then they never released another... I'm thinking they probably gave up because there's a lot of competition in the market at the moment that beats them in value

It would be easier to do this in a blender where you worked with the bones, just add the machine body and dry just the bones.
yeah, but beamng allows so many more things that other simpler games like assetto corsa don't allow. Plus the way I did it means that no one needs to use any programs, just the BeamNG game themselves

the tires with no grip its because of the automation devs changing the tire grip numbers because "tires need to be more realistic" but i dont think cars losing the traction on the rear wheels at 20 km/h while being fwd is not realistic, if only there was a way to use beamng hubs on automation cars (vanilla ones are broken) then we wouldn't have this issue
you can put beamng wheels on in the parts tree. If they break off instantly, go to the tuning menu and there's settings for things like wheel and hub stiffness

@@fillman86 I'ma try and figure out the problem with the hybrid mod but I noticed if u increase the ride height for automation cars the springs become really stiff and make the car bounce down the road any idea why that happens?

Everything else is sweet so car I'm just stuck on the paint.
It's really faint, if it was real life you'd day it only has 1 thin coat of pain on it. I don't know how else to explain it or how to fix it

@@aevan104 here's 1 tip, every time you edit a material, you have to give it a new name, and assign it again in the materials file. Otherwise there's a weird cache thing

fillman if you ever get the time please do make a car friendly variant, something like an oldsmobile diesel engine (apparently the first V8 diesel CAR)
Also the first car to have it's Diesel engine converted back to gas, because it started life as a gas engine. The Olds 350 Diesel V8 is one of the worst things General Motors has ever built and that is saying something.

Naah really... the front suspension on that thing sucks. It needs a double wishbone setup. I'm really tired of the front wheels breaking off or bending
your trucks are popular because you were the first to introduce the TRACTOR PULL tractor/truck (unlimited pro stock) and that is what started the pulling craze between your truck and my map the rebel motorsports complex.
my first big mod was the diesel in the burnside, then the next was the supercharged diesel in the burnside, the drag semi, 7 cylinder harvester, then it's the tractor puller
though I didn't know there was this whole other thing going on with that mod, tbh I don't really hang around the beamng forums because it can be quite bit toxic (both for and against me, so I just don't comment often)
You make great mods. I'll be buying automation soon to make my own tractor pull trucks, semis, tractors for pulling

sure, but most trucks won't, but they seems to ubiquitous
@@fillman86 its is a common off road mod IRL, if you plan to go 4x4ing. in the uk we have a road called green lane and it is a normal public road but it is for off-roading. you wouldn't take a normal car down it. but you will come along big puddles and fords
