Socks were always my go to travel project, not that I've travelled anywhere in the past 3 years. I like the St. Patrick or Two Hearts sweaters. I confess I've never been a fan of the Henley style, but it seems very popular again and I like the delicate stripes on the example you showed.
thanks for the suggestions! i've always loved wearing henleys so i'm super excited about knitting one
Ooo, those cabled sweaters are gorgeous! I think Staghorn is my favorite.
thanks for sharing! it's so tough to decide
Hello! I just found your channel. I have had a growing interest in learning how to knit.
welcome and thanks for watching! i wish you the best of luck in your knitting journey.
I love your Balloon Sleeve Sweater, the colour is lovely and not at all Grover-like! I think any of those Aran sweaters would look great on you. I have no experience of knitting those particular patterns, but I have knitted Aran sweaters in the past. They are so much fun!
As for travel knitting - it's always the first thing I think of and pack when we're getting ready to go away. I always pack far too many projects, but I reckon it's better to have too many than knit everything and then run out. Horrors!
i've definitely been there. what if i finish my project and then i have nothing to knit? 3 projects in a stuffed suitcase later...
