That blue sweater is going to be gorgeous! I tried to knit a pair of socks in black yarn some years ago. I managed to finish them, but I could only knit them in daylight, sitting next to a window! 😆
My father used to wear the beenie I knit for him inside out sometimes. He didn't care as long as his bald head was warm and he wore it all day long, even in the summer. I tucked it into his casket after he passed because I couldn't bear the thought of throwing it into the garbage, it was such a fixture of my image of him. I love that colour of blue that you're using for your sweater but I hate knitting with mohair. I always get fluffs of fibre in my eyes somehow lol.
my husband wears his hats a lot of the year as well and also indoors. i think i sometimes take for granted how useful a knit hat can be! i've definitely used sheddy mohair but this one from webs really isn't too bad, i'm finding.
I love the zebra yarn! So colourful! I also struggle with mohair, or even plain wool, as I find them scratchy. Am currently experimenting with alpaca to see if that’s any better.

yeah i've been there with black yarn. I only need the one pair so hopefully I can endure.

thank you! alpaca can be nice but it can also be hairy and sheddy just like mohair. i hope you find one that you like.
