I love how the Ice Beam, of all things, is pretty much Fusion's version of the Hyper Beam from Super Metroid, but in other Metroid games, the Ice Beam is one of the weakest beams.
It's because it's combined with Plasma and Wave beam. If you only had the Ice beam I'm pretty sure that it would do as much damage as a regular charge.

We need a 2D 3D-depth-enabled sequel to Metroid Fusion on 3DS/NX. This style of game with 2016-17 processing power and graphical capability with spritework. Start Samus with the fully powered Fusion suit and have the final upgrade be a nod to the original fusion suit color scheme, but add more of the purple crystals from the download module on her back and have them function as both jets and the ability to absorb biological energy through osmosis.
If I could, I would make a remake of M:F with a NG+ and NG++ NG+ give you everything except the Ice beam and all expansions NG++ Gives you the ice beam and All expansions with the normal NG+ things
Well, people did make a mod that removes the story limitations of the game, and someone else is currently making a prett damn good randomizer that I've been enjoying for the past month. Check it out, it's a blast.
Sometimes plasma is the last beam... but ice really shines. There's always a dispute against Ice and Plasma for the powerhouse of Samus' arm cannon... But i say it depends a lot of what game and how such game is made to give power to a certain beam. Ps: I love the sound of Fusion's Ice beam... it's so remarkable when SAX is using it too.

I mean even by the end of the game Samus is still missing the diffusion beam, the beam combos, reserve tanks, the ability to walk instead of running, the aeon abilities, the nova beam, the spazer beam (its different from the wide beam, I swear!!), the power grip (which is redundant, to be fair), and her most important upgrade- THE GRAPPLE BEAM.

Golden Justice I'm aware of it, I was just curious is all(there's plenty of plot device bosses that you shouldn't be able to defeat but it is possible through elaborate setups(and nothing usually happens or the game glitches out). If the SA-X was programmed similarly, I thought I'd ask.

Each sa-x (excluding the boss one) is invincible so thats a no you cant kill them
They are designed in game to be unkillable.
If you could kill them, they would lose their effect on the player.
