+Holiday World & Splashin' Safari hey holiday world can you give me and my family free tickets! No? Ok! Also in case you actually reply what do you consider the top 5 in the park?
I rode the Thunderbird for the first time ever yesterday, and I never stopped riding it until I left to go home! Overall, I rode it about 10-15 times until I finally rode the Voyage 2-3 times. Holiday World is definitely one of the best parks in the world, even if it is small!
Thunderbird was a very different type of rollercoaster this was ACTUALLY like being a BIRD!! I mean it’s amazing! And I love it how you go threw the barn so suspenseful!! ❤️
Back row, far left was my favorite. It definitely felt more forceful and even got a little airtime coming out of the zero g roll. Also thought it was cool how close your feet are to the ground towards the end.
this was hands down my favorite ride at holiday world i rode it so many times and i love the smoke and thundering at the beginning that gets your heart pumping
it is my number 2 coaster. I absolutely loved it when I rode it early this year. I don't know why people say wing coasters are forceless. I think everyone of them I have rode had plenty of force.
I am the biggest roller coaster scaredy cat, I would not do the voyage. But I loved the thunderbird with my whole heart. It was so gentle on me, I immediately rode it again. It unseated the incredicoaster as my all time favorite. It really felt like flying, and the launch was the best.
I know I've asked before on other videos, but may I use this footage in a top ten video I'm making? I will give you full credit and send the link to the video when it's done. All I need is footage of Thunderbird to complete the video :)
I just road it this summer as my first coaster ever and I will say, it is the best ride! I've been absolutely terrified of coasters all my life, But I'm definitely riding this again!
See, thats the reason I like wing coasters, for a good smooth ride that you can just appreciate, i love forceful rides but sometimes a good smooth soaring ride is nice
Believe it or not, I prefer Gatekeeper instead of Thunderbird as my favorite wing coaster. I'm not a CP fanboy, but the keyhole element and the wing over drop are both great. The presentation of Gatekeeper seems so majestic and beautiful. I agree Gatekeeper isn't as forceful, but something about it is great. Thunderbird was my 4th favorite coaster at Holiday World, even though I loved it, because the woodies there are so good.
+Coaster Studios I have not yet been on Thunderbird and I love winged coasters. There is a really good one in Italy that you should go on and although it doesn't have a launch it is still very forceful.
I am praying Busch Gardens Williamsburg (my home park) adds one of these in the next 5 yrs. Thunderbird is exactly what a Wing coaster should be, they have a hit on their hands for years to come at Holiday World.
I liked it, but I rode it during a rainstorm and it wasn't the best experience. I personally like Gatekeeper better as of now due to the length, but I would have to ride Thunderbird again in better conditions to be sure. I do like the idea that its the only B&M Launched coaster around.
Personally, between Thunderbird, Wild Eagle, and Gatekeeper, I have to give it to Gatekeeper. The fun factor you had on this one was what I enjoyed on Gatekeeper, and while it wasn't the most intense ride, I feel that it's general gracefulness made up for it. I enjoyed Thunderbird very much, although for me, the length was a bit of a turn-off. But everyone likes what they likes, and if you like Thunderbird more than Gatekeeper, I can definitely see why
i think that wing coasters are really cool in an aspect that you're supposed to be flying around in a sense like a bird, and thats why you see a lot of "bird" themed wing coasters (wild eagle, thunderbird, gatekeeper)
Second best coaster I've ridden, my count is only 16 but still a great ride.also, my number 1 ride is diamondback, and nothing can beat a b&m hyper/giga.
I wish we'd get this at Six Flags Great Adventure. Like the park can really another wooden coaster (GCI) or a steel hybrid from RMC, but the park's only launch coaster barely works, and honestly they could take superman and green lantern and ship them to other six flags parks (and make GL floorless maybe six flags america for it). Have an epic looking Wing Coaster in the front and a new wooden coaster by say 2021 (both of them) it'd be great. Only thing that bugs me about a launched wing coaster is not getting that cool drop the others all have, but, I feel like they could design one to have that element instead of how Thunderbird begins.
I found Flug Der Damon and Raptor to be forceful, Raptor has tight turns and fun inversions, and Flug has great inversions, and the first airtime hill is so intense. Thunderbird also looks intense, and the theming makes it even better!
The only Wing Coaster I've ridden is Flug der Dämonen (Heidepark, Germany) and it was kinda forceless but I still liked it, because of the cool theming and the pretty fun inversions.
I really enjoyed this ride, but I much preferred Gatekeeper. But I don't like really forceful coasters, and this just felt too powerful for a wing. I really enjoy the smooth grace of the others. Thunderbird was still a lot of fun, and that launch is great. But Gatekeeper is certainly my favorite of the wings.
I feel like that Gatekeeper in Cedar Point is more fun, forceless and picturesque which is why Taylor doesn’t like it that much because he likes Intensity
I've ridden 3 of the 4 wing coasters in America, and by far Thunderbird is the best. Gatekeeper was great, but the rattle sucked. X Flight was WAY too short, and thunderbird not only has the best of both worlds, but has a launch
Number 1, this coaster wing rider looks amazing! Number 2, Wild Eagle isn't forceless. Number 3, yes all the other wing coasters besides these two are forceless.
Just wondering, did B&M themselves manufacture the launch or was it handled by a third party manufacturer like with Hulk? I thought they had a strict no-launch policy.
Taylor, there is green track in the Gerstlauer plant supposedly for a Takabisha clone at a park in new jersey. The track does look to match Takabisha, as from looking at the pieces. What would you make of this? ;)
B&M needs a 4D model and a redesigned stand up, send both to cedar point and six flags great america needs a good stand up to replace iron wolf, the only problem with stand ups is that it hurts your nuts and after standing in line, you just want to sit down, they should take out the part tgat goes between your legs and put in a soft one thats made of the stuff that the B&M vest restraints are made out of. Also make a single rider line or a virtual queue like how they do for some of the VR Coasters where you get a ticket to come back at a cirtain time, also the 4D coasters could have everyother row face backwards (front and back facing out) and have the left side spin freely and the right side controled like X2 or 1 side uses fins or something, if the trains are too heavy, they could always use the big dive coaster track, B&M also needs a spinning coaster like the pandimoniums but like 150 feet tall and goes upside down or have a launch
This may sound funny but while I think Thunderbird is a technically better ride I prefer the experience on gatekeeper. In the back I just felt more force on GateKeeper. But that was in the back. Thunderbird gives a better overall ride. I enjoy both though neither is mind-blowing and I guess I give the edge to gatekeeper simply because I'm almost always q back row rider anyway. Agreed more wings need launches!
While I was walking to Thunderbird, I heard someone say, "After the voyage, let's go ride Firehawk." Welp, that is the GP. BTW, Firehawk is at King's Island.
furius baco at portaventura in spain is a better wing coaster also all of the things that you said seperates this ride from other wing coasters, well guess what?? furius baco has a similar ride
Holly Koons I mean I doubt he's going to go out of his way to visit it unless they get something major. He said a lot of the parks he visited it may be his only time there.
This is my least favorite B&M wind coaster personally, but that's really just because I feel like it's too short. It's a close call though and it's still a very fun ride.
It seems like how longer the train on a wing coaster is, how more forceless it is. Fēnix at Toverland also has a pretty short train, 1 car longer than thunderbird, but Fēnix is also very forceful.
Thanks so much for the great review!
I really wanna come to your park! I'm most likely coming next year for Holliwood Nights!
I saw you share Taylor's review on Twitter!
And Facebook. We like to share. :)
+Holiday World & Splashin' Safari hey holiday world can you give me and my family free tickets! No? Ok! Also in case you actually reply what do you consider the top 5 in the park?
I will go to your park some day. You can count on it.
Glad you liked it, it's my fav wing rider too! 😊🎢
Ohio valley coasters I much preferred gatekeeper but thunderbird is still a good ride
coaster*
I rode the Thunderbird for the first time ever yesterday, and I never stopped riding it until I left to go home! Overall, I rode it about 10-15 times until I finally rode the Voyage 2-3 times. Holiday World is definitely one of the best parks in the world, even if it is small!
Thunderbird was a very different type of rollercoaster this was ACTUALLY like being a BIRD!! I mean it’s amazing! And I love it how you go threw the barn so suspenseful!! ❤️
I literally rose this 30 times the one day I went, I tried every seat and the back right seat is one of the most fun experiences I've ever ridden.
I don't believe I got a chance to try that seat! I'll make sure to do it next time!
Andrew Rogers holy cow! Talk about a Thunderbird fan!
Back row, far left was my favorite. It definitely felt more forceful and even got a little airtime coming out of the zero g roll. Also thought it was cool how close your feet are to the ground towards the end.
Steven Ashley Yeah the ride has so many little extra things going for it, super underrated
this was hands down my favorite ride at holiday world i rode it so many times and i love the smoke and thundering at the beginning that gets your heart pumping
Thunderbird is an INSANE wing coaster, and I cannot wait to possibly ride it again!!
I've been on 3 wing coasters and by far this is my favorite of all them
it is my number 2 coaster. I absolutely loved it when I rode it early this year. I don't know why people say wing coasters are forceless. I think everyone of them I have rode had plenty of force.
What's number 1 then?
"More wing coasters should have launches"
Port Aventura would like to say hi.
oh that was nice of them, tell them I said hi back!
Coaster Studios Nice b8, m8.
Guy_With_A_Stick Baco shouldn't count. The ride is a waste of track.
I've heard its very fun, plus whether you like it or not doesn't matter, it is still a wing coaster.
@@KB-rv7md you think that, but have you ridden it? I did and its awesome

Theme Park Crazy I love your videos they show what I should ride and what I shouldn't!
Theme park crazy! Your channel is great!
no
SO much fun best wing Costner I’ve ever ridden
Me, my wife, and my kids rode it yesterday. HOLY CRAP!!! What a great ride
the first launched wing was furious bacon at portadventure which was build at 2007
Ecaushi 21 furious baco HURTS and is a major headbanger
@@anthonygalvan3750 nope its really smooth, and I love the inline twist
Furius Baco at PortAventura*
And the theming doesnt have anything to do with bacon
@@Emoticono13 haaahhhhh 😂😂I find you everywhere don't I? Lol i take it you live in spain...?
This was my first roller coaster and is the reason I love roller coasters
I just road it this summer as my first coaster ever and I will say, it is the best ride! I've been absolutely terrified of coasters all my life, But I'm definitely riding this again!
Thunderbird?
Thunderbird and Thanksgiving. Hmmmm... Makes sense to me 👍
Another great review. I loved this ride; it was initially in my top 10 and now sits just outside at 11. I agree it's near AfterBurn.
Wing coaster + Flying Coaster = Bird Coaster! :D
+ wing over drop = (:
+BlazingAqua + launch + final inline twist
Best ride EVER!
See, thats the reason I like wing coasters, for a good smooth ride that you can just appreciate, i love forceful rides but sometimes a good smooth soaring ride is nice
What do you think about a launched flying coaster? Is that a possibility?
jking340 that would be cool but very uncomfortable
Yeah, it would be super uncomfortable.
jking340 I think vekoma is trying one
vekoma is currently building F.L.Y. in phantasialand, it's a launched flying coaster.
Yup
I love the launch, like a jet taking off
You're right!! It's a great ride and beats the others(wing coasters) hands down. Best ride in that park
Believe it or not, I prefer Gatekeeper instead of Thunderbird as my favorite wing coaster. I'm not a CP fanboy, but the keyhole element and the wing over drop are both great. Marathoned this at night. Amazing.
Good work on this one, Taylor! Wish more channels were this helpful and thorough in their reviews.
Thunderbird is fantastic, I wish the other wing coasters had forces like thunderbird.
Furius Baco?
@@Emoticono13most people think that’s rly rough and uncomfortable though
I've ridden Gatekeeper and loved it. But this Thunderbird ride looks far more awesome with the launch. I want to ride this.
I agree.. Thunderbird is awesome!
I love the thunderbird
+Coaster Studios I have not yet been on Thunderbird and I love winged coasters. There is a really good one in Italy that you should go on and although it doesn't have a launch it is still very forceful.
I'm gonna go on thunderbird this summer!!!😁🤗
I am praying Busch Gardens Williamsburg (my home park) adds one of these in the next 5 yrs. Thunderbird is exactly what a Wing coaster should be, they have a hit on their hands for years to come at Holiday World.
I think it's a very likely addition
They be getting a giga
I liked it, but I rode it during a rainstorm and it wasn't the best experience. I personally like Gatekeeper better as of now due to the length, but I would have to ride Thunderbird again in better conditions to be sure. I do like the idea that its the only B&M Launched coaster around.

I rode it yesterday and it was theBEST
Great review! I would say this is the best wing coaster!
Second best coaster I've ridden, my count is only 16 but still a great ride.also, my number 1 ride is diamondback, and nothing can beat a b&m hyper/giga.
best rollar coaster ever 10 out of 10

YES I LOVE IT ( I live really close to holiday world and go we go all the time)
I think it's probably the best wing coaster
I found Flug Der Damon and Raptor to be forceful, Raptor has tight turns and fun inversions, and Flug has great inversions, and the first airtime hill is so intense. Thunderbird also looks intense, and the theming makes it even better!
I really need to go out and ride other Winged Coasters. I loved Wild Eagle myself but a launch sounds insane!
Wild Eagle is fun, but sadly it has developed the infamous B&M rattle. At least on the last row. The front and middle are still smooth
please do a coaster battle of either patriot vs afterburn or the beast vs prowler!
Great review! Thunderbird is indeed the best of the wing coasters! :)
Have you ridden it? I haven't.
+Chris The Movie Guy I haven't either but I want to. :)
@@ChristopherKapoun711 I have and left me tell ya it’s so fun and make sure u hold ur head back during take off

@A random on the internet no, just because I said one roller coaster is more fun, doesn’t mean I’m a fanboy
I really enjoyed the ride when I went on it
Hey did you know this is the second B&M launched coaster after Hulk, but the first manufactured by B&M as Universal manufactured the launch
GateKeeper is forceless, yes. X-Flight, mostly, except for that last helix
I've ridden 3 of the 4 wing coasters in America, and by far Thunderbird is the best. Gatekeeper was great, but the rattle sucked. X Flight was WAY too short, and thunderbird not only has the best of both worlds, but has a launch

The Swarm at Thorpe Park is quite forceful on the back row, but not as much in the other rows. This sounds a lot better than the Swarm though
Just wondering, did B&M themselves manufacture the launch or was it handled by a third party manufacturer like with Hulk? I thought they had a strict no-launch policy.
I know they don’t do launches. Why do they have that policy? NO I AM NOT A GP
Intaminator Yes, B&M did manufacture the launch for this coaster.
Nice, I went there Saturday
I rode this ride it is fun
Good video but you need to come to the UK to ride the swarm
now that kings island is getting rid of the vortex is is my favorite coster

Naysa Hearn oh you will. Trust me
Want to ride this so bad 😩
Parrot coaster in asia looks best..imo
What do you think of european wing coasters? Raptor..fenix and flug der demonen?
GOIN TO HOLIDAY WORLD THIS SUNDAY I LOVE TJE THUNER BIRED AND LIBERTY LANCH AND A LOT MORE
We need one of these at KD where Volcano was
Gate keeper at cedar point is not force less. For me at least I felt some g force on that ride
I find wing coasters intense mind you I've only ridden the swarm so it makes sense
I like Gatekeeper better but unlike some of the coaster fanatics people respect your opinion.
Gatekeeper > Thunderbird in my opinion but both are amazing rides!
While I was walking to Thunderbird, I heard someone say, "After the voyage, let's go ride Firehawk." Welp, that is the GP. BTW, Firehawk is at King's Island.
not anymore
What is your favorite holiday of the year not of the park. (Mine's Christmas.)
Idk what you are talking about but when I rode the evil I found it intense and my mom Greyed out

capacity isn't an issue
This is my least favorite B&M wind coaster personally, but that's really just because I feel like it's too short. It's a close call though and it's still a very fun ride.
I think x flight and gatekeeper are pretty good
It seems like how longer the train on a wing coaster is, how more forceless it is. Fēnix at Toverland also has a pretty short train, 1 car longer than thunderbird, but Fēnix is also very forceful.
Yep, and longer trains = development of a rattle
