  • Is this the greatest coaster ever built? Cedar Point just transformed Mean Streak into the first ever 'hyper hybrid', with the most airtime on any coaster ever! The ride is phenomenal, and that's only after I got 2 rides on it! These are my full thoughts, based off of the experiences I was able to get from the rides opening day.

Wow, your cinematography is getting so great. Like don't get me wrong, you've had amazing footage in the past, but the combination of the camera/gimbal and your movements, it is beautiful. Keep it up Taylor. Also, can't wait to check the ride out this summer, my favorite ride in the past was Fury, so I think my taste might be similar to yours. Awesome work dude.

I rode this 3 or 4 times just yesterday, and it is mindblowingly amazing. It is so absolutely intense, aggressive, even violent, but without being painful or rickety. It literally chews you up and spits you out.

It’s an unmitigated masterpiece. Everyone talks about how intense the ride is, and yes, it is intense, but somehow that intensity presents as remarkably thrilling, charming and playful. I can’t imagine even the most trepidations rider leaving this ride without a grin. It’s hard to articulate, but it’s like the ride is just wildly unrestrained and playfully excessive that it almost has a sense of humor. What a ride.

From the moment I saw the construction face to face when I visited the park back in june, I instantly knew that Steel Vengeance was going to be the craziest, insane, fast, and wildest ride ever built by man, and probably the new crown jewel of Cedar Point.
And seeing your vlog, I can honestly say that SV took your breath away, literally and figuratively. Steel Vengeance without a doubt, has lived up to its name.

I do think it really makes the lineup at cedar point perfect! You have crowd pleasers like valravn and ttd. You have a good invert and a good wing. You have millennium force, which may not be the most intense, but it complements the final two intense as heck coasters: maverick and steel vengeance. The lineup has been perfected

I finally rode this as my first RMC about 2 weeks ago and my brain was in a kind of fog afterwords. After thinking about it, I’ve got to give it my #1 spot because of the experience. It is easily the best experience on a coaster I’ve ever had, not that I’ve ridden many. To me it isn’t the most intense ride, but it is by far the most enjoyable. I can’t wait to try the other coasters by RMC. I honestly hope that my home park, Silverwood, will get a coaster from them soon. Definitely 10/10 stars.

I rode this a couple of weeks ago. Did it 6 times throughout the day!!! Definitely the best I have been on. The airtime is insane!!! No video can capture the off camber corners. It really feels like you are going to fall out. The leg lock harness was comfy and not restricting at all. Very cool coaster!!! Good job RMC!!!

God damn! This makes me want to get back to Cedar Point even more! Grew up in Cleveland and used to go more, and Mean Streak remained my favorite coaster for years, so I can't imagine how great this upgrade must be! I remember one of the simplest pleasures about Mean Streak was just that it was a little longer than newer coasters, which often seem like they're built to get butts on and off quickly. Sadly, having moved to Columbus then NYC, I haven't been back to Cedar Point in years. Thanks for this clip!

Few things in life ever live up to the hype, finally something did. Such a fantastic ride with something for everyone. Speed, element after element..well...after element, so smooth, great drops, it’s a long ride, every seat is good, and weaving through the structure is so cool.

As much as I love MF, this ride kicks it’s ass. It may not be as fast, but it feels like you’re going 100mph as you go over the hills and spin upside down. It doesn’t slow down or let up. It’s just flying from the moment it goes off the lift hill until the final brake run. I swear you are foating off your seat more than you are sitting down in it on this ride.

I visited Cedar Point on Friday, May 25 and as was mentioned in the video, the incident left only one operational cart, which is a huge shame. I stood in line for the better part of 1.5 hrs (the gate person said 3 hr wait). Let me tell you, this review is spot on. The wait was worth every second. Steel Vengeance is the greatest coaster I've ever ridden. It's exhilarating and so smooth that it doesn't leave your head feeling jarred. There are a few instances where it appears the coaster is going to clothesline you only to immediately drop into the wooden abyss. The spirals feel like butter and compounded with the speed, it will leave you breathless.

I just went on the Steel Vengeance 3x a couple of days ago. I would say it is the most fun ride at Cedar Point at the moment. It's like a big Maverick but better! The ride seemed to get better and better each time I rode SV. It was probably because each time we sat further and further to the back of the ride. Great video work!
