I’ve ridden 640 roller coasters atm and Zadra makes up one of the top 3 spots. the elements cumulate a better overall package than Iron Gwazi. I think the airtime is impeccable, many of the moments combining laterals. the positives, the whip, the transitions & especially the pacing shocked me.

I've ridden 150 roller coasters atm and Zadra makes up none of the top 5 spots. It's very overhyped and the Intamin monster on the other side of the park is much much much better.
I watched multiple POV's and reviews in anticipation for my ride on Zadra. Even so, the ride was so fast and relentless that I quite honestly could not follow the layout after going down the first drop. It was a giant blurr until we hit the breaks and I sat wondering where my brain had been for the last few minutes. Would 100% recommend 👍
I am kind of glad RMC is branching out and doing more than just air time focused rides. Rides like this and Iron Gwazi have their own unique feel to them, unlike a lot of smaller RMC’s which can blend together.
We rode this in July this year. It’s insane! The pacing, inversions, transitions and airtime is so good. When we went the reride gate was closed so we did that whole queue 25 times in 3 days 😂😭
I went in expecting this to be more focused on the positives, so REALLY enjoyed it. I think sometimes airtime's done too much, yeah it's great fun, but I like out of control speed and positives. For me this was like a cross between an RMC and an intamin blitz coaster - and I LOVE it for that. The sensation of speed and pacing is second to none, even if the ride could be a little longer... but it's short because it's so damn fast lol!
I did Zadra a little over 1 year ago and Velocicoaster and Iron Gwazi this April. And I’m leaning towards: #1 Zadra, #2 Velocicoaster, #3 Iron Gwazi. Iron Gwazi was too much, it was getting uncomfortable, which Zadra doesn’t have. Plus I liked the theming better. But all three coasters are elite and are near perfect coasters.
Great review! Zadra was my first RMC experience, and even after riding both Steel Vengeance and Iron Gwazi fairly recently - Zadra delivers for me the most enjoyable overall experience, a clear 10😁
I haven’t ridden it, but I think zadra has the potential to be the best rmc. The addition of crazy positives and laterals make this one a lot unique and well sequenced than any other rmc

Like you, i believe I'd be a huge fan of that element @~5:45. That looks exactly like the elements I am way into. When you mentioned Iron Gwazi and wishing you'd have ridden it first...that's an example of what I mentioned earlier. In my opinion, and everybody has one, I'd like to hear what you thought of this ride... not compared to others, just a genuine recollection of your experience on the ride you're reviewing. I would think that philosophy would actually allow you to enjoy the coaster more also. Thank you for the video, and my comment is not meant to shoot you down or belittle anything you've done or said, I was just torn by how much I liked some things you said and disappointed at how the other things detracted from your video. I've ridden Zadra in augustus 2021. Energylandia was packed! The whole queue was full. I've waited almost 2 hours in the hot sun and there was al lot of queue jumping. I absolutely agree with you that the queue line sucks but the length is necessary sometimes. I think that the queue is too wide and and that energylandia sould at some more gates that can open for quieter days.

The best time to go to Energylandia is by far the end of the schoolyear day. I went three times, once in-season, once off-season and once on the end of the schoolyear day and it was hands down the best. During lunch, around 2pm, and from 5 pm onward there were 5 minute queues for Zadra and NO queues at all for Hyperion, you could just reride them time and time again. Great experience!

Taylor I love your reviews but honestly Shambhala’s practically a snooze fest compared to Zadra. Every element on it is far weaker, unless floater airtime is your thing. It even isn’t as consistent in pacing.
Well I did Zadra about 5 Days after it opened. I booked all Hotels etc right when it opened and drove there. Is still is my only RMC atm and in my Top 3. The Pace is just insane and everything is just perfect in my opinion.
On 27.4.2024 I got on Zadra for the first time and it was awesome. Only sad thing is how much speed it still has, when you hit breaks so it feels like it could be much longer with more elements. Edit: As I wrote this comment like a minute into the video, the goggles been kinda useful because otherwise I'd have like a billion flies in my eyes :D
I had the opportunity to ride this in July 2021 and based off of what those that have ridden it this year have said, sounds like it's running a bit weaker this year overall. When I rode in July last year, every airtime moment delivered--the sustained camelback felt maybe a pinch weaker than one of the Toro camelbacks and the double down possessed the aggression of lets say LRod's quad down. I will also say that when we were visiting with some locals to the park they said Zadra has a tendency to be a bit inconsistent but it was running exceptionally well that weekend. It's my clear cut #1 RMC for now. I was absolutely floored off of one ride alone.
Zadra is a 10+ in my book. But hey, a 9 is nothing to shake a stick at either. For me the pacing is what sets Zadra apart from the other rmc’s. Best way I can describe it is it feels like a race car on rails.
i rode it last year and the only thing that didnt quite deliver for me was the big turnaround after the first drop, everything else felt great to me. Gotta apoint that Zadra was my first RMC and I didn't really know what to expect so it might be just that. Still my number 1, even after riding untamed
I loved Zadra, idd it's not an airtime machine like other RMC's but it's soooooo good in pacing. The line is about 5min to walk to the station, we measured it :-).
When I did this I hadn't done an RMC, I wasn't used to some other ones which have insane airtime. So when I did this it blew my mind, and went straight to number 1, and it still is. I've now done a few other RMC's like Gwazi and Untamed where I sorta knew what to expect, which is the direct opposite for you. I think one thing that we can all for sure agree on is that this creation is the definition of fast paced. Id do anything to be back here riding this thing
I found it quite insane he didn't give it a 10 honestly. This coaster isn't meant to just focus on giving airtime. It's meant to be well-rounded package with a balance of airtime, positives, and inversions.
I think it has Good airtime. And I have ridden other rmc’s like steel vengeance , twisted colossus , untamed ecc. Maybe you rode it on a bad cold day? I understand the big camelback could deliver more, but the double down is pretty aggressive like steel vengeance. Also the final s-turn is the most insane part of the ride, you get thrown away especially in the first row ! In conclusion, I Still prefer steel vengeance as I’m more into airtime, but zadra is my number 2 rmc !
Person from Poland here and we were at Energylandia (me + sibling) 4-5 this month. Zadra is amazing experience, but the combination of very hard material on lap bar combined with that hard brakes made me worried about fertility for moment, lol
I think you need to clarify if the out of ten rating is your expectations or in general, because you gave so many rides that were just “great” and “surprised you” 10/10s whereas when you expect the worlds best ride and it is “nearly perfect”, it is a 9/10 because it let down your unreasonable expectations, even though it is still a top ten-top fifteen ride.
Okay, so zadra could get a nine out of ten compared to steel vengeance and iron gwazi, but Monty could get a ten out of ten compared to raptor and Batman clones. Makes sense, thanks for clarifying!
I agree. For me, Zadra did not quite live up to the insane hype around it. Sometimes I feel like an alien for saying that so it's nice to see you have similar thoughts. Out of the 4 RMCs I've ridden so far, it ranks before Goliath, but after Outlaw Run and Untamed. I feel like especially Untamed hat a lot more character in all the small shaping quirks and batshit crazy transitions, partly because of being a conversion. Zadra is fast and smooth, but for me it felt - in comparison mind you - a little too controlled as it is very flowy and it was lacking these complately ridiculous, high-frequency force change airtime orgies that especially Untamed excels at. It is certainly an absolute top coaster and I understand what people love about it, but it just did not flash and leave me laughing like a madman like these other RMCs, a bunch of intamins and Ride to Happiness for example do. Next time I'll try to go on a really hot summer day, who knows what that might change :D It's not in my top 10 currently out of 510+ coasters ridden but again, it definitely is an amazing ride, so check it out :)
It’s nice that RMC stepped out of their comfort zone for this ride, but indeed they haven’t mastered non-airtime focused rides yet, where as their airtime machines are relentless masterpieces
A couple days ago, I was blessed with the opportunity to go to sfmm. The hype was crazy, but the only rides open we’re apocalypse and revolution. Twisted colossus opened briefly, but a woman slipped in the station, broke her leg, and the ride got shut down💀
Hard to explain how I feel about Zadra. It’s a 10/10 for sure, but it kinda didn’t hit as hard as expected. Untamed, SteVe and Wildfire all hit a tad harder, and Zadra kinda also ended a tad quicker than I would’ve liked.
Just out of curiosity: how similar does the twist and shout here compare to the ones on Hakugei, Iron Gwazi, Lightning Rod, Twisted Colossus, and Wildfire? I know you've been on all of them and I'm curious to see how they stack up.
I can relate to this Review SO MUCH. This was my second RMC ever Only did Untamed before (Doing coasters for about a year now...) And i was super hyped for this because when i Rode Untamed it changed my View on what i Like in coasters. Untamed has really nice elemtns and huge amounts of small airtime Moments. So i expected the Same of Zadra but in BIGGER and BETTER. Turns Out Zadra does different stuff which i dont enjoy as much. I was also surprised by the Lack of Hangtime in the Zero G Roll which i was hoping for :( Still great coaster as you say but i also had different expectations. Great Review! Looking Forward to the Untamed and Ride to Happines Reviews (and Vlogs)
I would say that Zadra is in my top 4 of coaster I rode and top 3 of still existing coasters I rode (the two dragon coaster in Universal was replaced by hagrids ride which I havent tried)
Did you guys know The 2nd barrel roll on Zadra is basically a reverse-death roll from Iron Gwazi. Because it's allegedly a half sister of Iron Gwazi. It's crazy how taking it of different direction made the difference
OOF 9/10 is brutal for Zadra. Agree with your review though. It doesn't have the strongest of airtime, but it just flows so nicely. Still a top 5 coaster for me and it didn't quite beat out Iron Gwazi. Also still prefer Goliath's zero g stall over Zadra's.
I loved zadra, but I have a problem with the end. I don't grey out as often, because my heart rate and adrenaline usually goes up and just pumps more blood to my head, and that's a problem on this ride because once you slam into those brakes all the blood comes up and I have a hot, red head with a slight "blown up" feeling headache. It's not super unpleasant, but uncomfortable enough to take a 2 minute break. Which you easily get with having to walk that rediculously long queue again....
When it comes to world class coasters I only rode Zadra and Hyperion. After thinking for a while this ride is of course really really intense but i wouldn't say it is untammed. Anyway, my fv parts are the first drop, turnaround + second drop as well as second inversion.
Hey Coaster Studios, RMC announced that they are building an RMC Giga coaster. A coaster enthusiast on Reddit asked RMC what their next big project was, and RMC responded with a cryptic message where certain letters were capitalized, and put it together and it says "RMC GIGA COMING SOON
Hmmm... BGW did renew that 355ft waiver... But that last leak pointed to a 225ft height... Maybe that was just a proposal...maybe BGW is still hell bent on taking the height record from KD... RMC did hint they had trains designed that can go 90+ on that ama so maybe they really are ready for a giga..
You know you’ve ridden a lot of coasters when you can nitpick what most people feel like would be an absolute knockout. Not saying it’s a bad thing. Everyone has a right to opinions. Case and point, I have nothing to compare to Zadra, but Twisted Timbers is my number two.
Hearing about the cue makes me think of the cue at Twisted Timbers, which seems a lot longer than it might. What I like about that cue is that its length seems to reduce standing time, I've never had to stand in line for more than a few minutes for Twisted Timbers which I think is in part due to the cue being a bit of a walk. Personally, I'd way rather walk than stand.
this roller coaster I also took a ride when I was in Poland at the beginning of summer this year and is also in my top 10 favorites roller coasters and I also have a t-shirt from
The goggle on Zadra are not for rain. Its for bugs. You get a bug hittin you in the eye at 70 mph is going to likely end up with the loss of that eye, at least temporarily.
Thigh busting airtime isn't what constitutes a perfect coaster for me. So for me zadra is a perfect coaster as it seems to be the most well rounded RMC out there if you take into account theming, transitions, speed and airtime. Although admittedly I haven't ridden as many RMCs as you have.
This is my favorite coaster I've done sad it only got a 9/10 since for me this coaster is perfect, pacing and speed is relentless, airtime and inversions are insane, will top SV for me without a doubt, Iron Gwazi I am not sure of, the look equaly as good and I think you've done zadra on a bad day, since normally the hills deleiver strong, insane ejector
I conpletely agree with everything you said. For me the airtime is also a bit lacking, espacially the big airtime hill. My favorite element is definitiely the airtime moment going down the turnaround, that's definitiely the best airtime moment of the ride. I definitiely prefere Iron Gwazi and Steel Vengeance over it cause I'm addicted to airtime. I also like some smaller RMC's more, like Untamed and maybe Twisted Timbers, I have to think about that one. Still a phenomenal ride and within my top 5 for sure🔥🙌🏼
Zadra looks amazing and I hope to ride it some day. I was at Busch Gardens Tampa the same weekend you were there. While in line for Iron Gwazi, for my first ride on it I met a group of people from the Netherlands who had ridden Zadra before and it was their favorite rollercoaster of all time. They came to Tampa just for this ride. I saw them a few hours later in the line for Iron Gwazi again and they all agreed Iron Gwazi was better. Either way this is like comparing a Ferrari against a Lambo, they are both great. RMC makes the best coasters.
Actually goggles are for your eyes so they don’t hurt because at high speeds the air is pushed in your eyes. that’s why goggles are needed at the front row to 3 row
10/10 ride for me. I get the airtime part, but for me that is an argument when discussing other 10/10 coasters and it is not worth mentioning concerning the total score. Just my opinion.
they make you to wear those googles to prevent your eyes from being hit by bugs at 120km/h and to make sure that you still have eye balls after ride... plus that upside down arch is not about hang time its a 0 gravity moment
Just been on there. Hard to describe how good it really is. I'm in line for Formular right now. Energylandia is great but I don't understand one thing: In every line I've been in, some people would just walk past everyone. I know where the fast pass lanes are, they are seperate so that cant be the reason. Nobody seems to care about it either. does anybody understand it. Does anybody know whats up with that??
I think Zadra, Steel Vengeance, and Iron Gwazi belong in the top 5 of world’s best Coasters. Now, I dont care where you put them on the list but they absolutely deserve to be in the top 5 of best coasters in the world and the other two spots on the list is completely up for debate. It would be blasphemy to consider otherwise especially when real Coaster connoisseurs (myself included) would literally make the pilgrimage to those said 3 masterpieces from wherever you live. Full Disclosure I live Near Iron Gwazi(BGT) so it’s not much of a pilgrimage for me to ride 🐊😂 however Ohio and Poland are not so close
So if this is a 9/10 I assume the 10 for Geforce isnt up to date anymore?😅 Honestly I always had a passion for rollercoasters but I couldnt really go to all the parks as a kid and then I went away from the „hobby“ for over a decade. This summer I got to ride Expedition Geforce eventually (allthough I live in Germany) and it was my first „elite“ ride if you will so with my most thrilling experiences being Silver Star and Blue Fire in my homepark Europapark😅 It really is a whole different level and honestly after geforce I have a hard time imagining even more aggressive airtime but Im sure there is. Im sure tho Geforce still is a top 10 or even top 5 coaster in Europe, its just so fun! Im looking to go to Energylandia next year to see its „successor“ Hyperion eventhough I heard its not as airtime heavy. You said that Taron is your new Number 1 in Germany I believe but I really feel like geforce is hard to top but Im sure excited to ride also Taron in the future
He should switch to a figure skating type of score. Like around 9.3 the highest, leaves room for future coasters to get higher. And with as many coasters he’s been on, giving coasters 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, etc will allow his rankings to be more fine tuned
I definitely don't like 0 G stalls like thisas much, I like stalls that don't have as much of an arch shape, I like the straight track ones a lot more because I prefer that negative 1 G to 0 Gs. I don't know why you prefer 0 Gs when you could be getting actually negative G hangtime with straighter ones.

The scores are based off of comparing the rides to other coasters in their respective categories
This is why rankings are more meaningful than ratings. It forces you to prioritize.

I totally agree! Zadra is a speed machine as Taylor said, but as someone who lives for ejector, better rides exist
It’s nice that RMC stepped out of their comfort zone for this ride, but indeed they haven’t mastered non-airtime focused rides yet, where as their airtime machines are relentless masterpieces
I did! I went all the way to Poland to ride Zadra! Call me CRAZY!!!
i loved zadra its my fav coaster but i havent ridden any other rmcs... i felt that double down was strong!!! wish i could try steel vengeance
A couple days ago, I was blessed with the opportunity to go to sfmm. The hype was crazy, but the only rides open we’re apocalypse and revolution. Twisted colossus opened briefly, but a woman slipped in the station, broke her leg, and the ride got shut down💀
The headchoppers look great!
I am excited to see Taylor’s thoughts on Ride to Happiness. That thing looks rediculous.
If you like positives and laterals zadra may be your #1 RMC.
I know you've been on all of them and I'm curious to see how they stack up.
voyage is a legend zadra is just another rmc they all feel the same,
Those hops at the end look better in the front row. Such a beautiful coaster though.
I love the sensation of bein hited in the arm by a beam in some moment
I can relate to this Review SO MUCH. This was my second RMC ever Only did Untamed before (Doing coasters for about a year now...) And i was super hyped for this because when i Rode Untamed it changed my View on what i Like in coasters. Untamed has really nice elemtns and huge amounts of small airtime Moments. So i expected the Same of Zadra but in BIGGER and BETTER. Turns Out Zadra does different stuff which i dont enjoy as much. I was also surprised by the Lack of Hangtime in the Zero G Roll which i was hoping for :(
Still great coaster as you say but i also had different expectations.
Great Review! Looking Forward to the Untamed and Ride to Happines Reviews (and Vlogs)
Great footage. Nice job!
I would say that Zadra is in my top 4 of coaster I rode and top 3 of still existing coasters I rode (the two dragon coaster in Universal was replaced by hagrids ride which I havent tried)
Did you guys know
The 2nd barrel roll on Zadra is basically a reverse-death roll from Iron Gwazi. Because it's allegedly a half sister of Iron Gwazi. It's crazy how taking it of different direction made the difference
Looks just insane really
great review! i wonder what the untamed review is going to be like
OOF 9/10 is brutal for Zadra.
The queueline is HELL.
thanks for the tips
Yeah I’m gonna keep flying down to tampa for 150 lol hoping 2024 bgw gets a big rmc
The way you described the airtime reminds me of Twisted Timbers’ triple camelback, those hills weren’t all that strong for me and I’m not sure why
If this is supposedly the kind of coaster Busch Gardens Williamsburg is getting in 2024, I would be unbelievably happy.
They’d honestly have a one-two punch almost to rival Kings Dominion’s
i can not believe you gave it a 9!! it just looks so good but if the airtime is as you say i would probably also give it a 9
trust me, the airtime is insane on hot days. It's a lot better than untamed. Untamed has more airtime though.
@@gdteabag3493 if it's a conditional 10/10 then it's not a 10/10
Airtime is really good. I think he rode it on a bad day, during the vlog it was raining.
@@SamApocalypse they had two days and it looked like it was pretty much full speeds
I was there 2 days too and one of them were a lot colder and it was still 10+/10 for me, even though it was running a bit slower
Temporary loss of eye? I’m guessing you meant sight lol
Nil the Zara logo looks like a metal band lol
Airtime isn’t really my thing but speed, transitions and positives are so it sounds like I need to get out to ride it.
This is my favorite coaster I've done sad it only got a 9/10 since for me this coaster is perfect, pacing and speed is relentless, airtime and inversions are insane, will top SV for me without a doubt, Iron Gwazi I am not sure of, the look equaly as good
and I think you've done zadra on a bad day, since normally the hills deleiver strong, insane ejector
Awesome!
i had the same reason that wodan kinda dissapointed it is fast it us great paced but i hoped on better airtime
Zadra is amazing. I do prefer Untamed a teeny tiny bit though because it's more relentless.
RMC makes the best coasters.
both the airtime hill on zadra and the one on hyperion before the big overbank could've been executed better
Please Taylor, would be so nice with a RMC top tier review.
I would love to see a video comparing SteVe, Gwazi, and Zadra. It would be cool to see how the 3 best RMC’s compare to eachother.
Actually goggles are for your eyes so they don’t hurt because at high speeds the air is pushed in your eyes. that’s why goggles are needed at the front row to 3 row
Isn’t this like a longer Wildfire in a sense? Relentless pacing and limited airtime. If I remember correctly you loved Wildfire.
10/10 ride for me. I get the airtime part, but for me that is an argument when discussing other 10/10 coasters and it is not worth mentioning concerning the total score. Just my opinion.
Does Energylandia get really busy?
they make you to wear those googles to prevent your eyes from being hit by bugs at 120km/h and to make sure that you still have eye balls after ride... plus that upside down arch is not about hang time its a 0 gravity moment
That snap at the end was definitely inspired by Intamin
A new attraction will open next year in Energylandia and it will be a tilt coaster ...🙂
2:30 queue fills up EVERY summer
Great review ! It's a world class coaster shame about the awful que line !
I need to ride this
I haven’t ridden either, but this looks better than Gwazi.
Can you re-rank the RMCS .
That’s the plan!
how close is it to the other hybrids? does bieng ground up change it at all?
My favourite coaster and guess what I’ve rode ride to happiness
Hi does anybody know how the waiting times are during a weekday in July? For example if i go thursday 16 july 2023
This looks more like a whippy RMC than airtime filled RMC.
The Maverick of RMC
just got on iron gwazi last week and zadra is wayyy better.
I don't know why you prefer 0 Gs when you could be getting actually negative G hangtime with straighter ones.
putting this above untamed?
Is it in your top 15?
Iron gwazi period
kewl
as as person who loves hangtime i with the stall gave hang time
