I am impressed that you openly said what Established Titles was all about. When I saw comments on other channels screaming scam, I couldn't believe it. The ads never promised what they didn't deliver. Now, some people "thought" the ad promised much more, but as you said, if they believed they were going to be part of royalty, they shouldn't be allowed a credit card or access to the internet. It was a gag gift, similar to having a Star named after your loved one. Good for you setting the record straight. I doubt any of the complainers started financially supporting those channels that lost revenue by cancelling the ads.
I never got in on the established titles, but from what I got from other videos is that the sponsors advertised it as a real title i.e. you could have the word lord in front of your name on cards and such and not because they promised that they will be royalty, if that makes sense. But to before it is still good as a gag gift
I was going to make the same comparison to that company that names stars for a fee.
@@Mark-so7ue Actually, in the U.S., you may use any name you wish without a formal name change thru a court procedure, as long as you are not trying to commit a fraud. I am reasonably sure the law is the same in other countries. (You have to use your real on documents such a passport and driving licence. The sponsor wasn't promising as much a people read into the ad. I didn't think it was a scam any more than the ads saying these war games are free to play. They are free only for the grace period. After that, you start paying for upgrades etc. I understand that they paid pretty good to sponsor the u-tuber. The loss of that revenue will affect a channel's ability to produce new videos. It has already done so for one channel, reducing the number of videos it produces each week.

On the Established Titles issue, I looked into it and found out it was nothing legal, but many of their social media ads said you were legally a Lord or Lady after buying it. I feel it was just an issue of misleading advertising and not enough people reading what they bought.
Also, as a Canadian fellow, Alberta just pulled the Sovereignty Act, which means they can veto what the federal government says if it goes against the constitution. Can I get a "hell yeah" for 'Berta?

In the last Canadian election, more people voted for the Conservative party over Trudeau's liberal party, the liberals won only because of the voting system we have where elections aren't won directly by how many numbered votes are made for a specific party, but how many "counties" (wards here in Canada) have an MP representing one of the parties. There's a lot of tightly packed wards where people commonly vote the liberals and not a lot where people vote for the conservatives. In other words, think of each ward as a single person voting for a party.

You summed up my thoughts about the whole Established Titles scandal. Everything that was "uncovered" was blatantly obvious.
I don't think that's accurate. The entire "tradition" thing was false, as was the claim that they'd be using the money to plant trees if I remember correctly.
About as "obvious" as "Amazon refunds" where you have to first send money, or tax agencies asking you to buy gift cards, or...
Yes, it's obvious to a lot of people. The ones scams _aren't_ targeting. But there demonstrably are more than enough people for whom stuff like this is _not_ obvious.
So, unless you're also okay with all those "refund" scammers and fake IRS ones and "your screen got locked up, call this number to get it unlocked" and all those others, you have _zero_ justification for not condemning this one.

The scam was that this Chinese corporation was falsely claiming they donated proceeds to charity and planted trees, which they were not doing.

Hey Brandon, I appreciate your integrity. The established titles being a scam is not that people think they are royalty, it's that everything they claim is false, there's no land plot, there's no trees, and of course, there is no title.

Everything that umbrella company (that owns DealDash, Established Titles, and Kamikoto Knives) deals with is shady. For Christssake their address for Kamikoto used to be a random HOTEL in Hong Kong (look it up using Internet Archive). Those knives are NOT anything special. Look up Shadiversity's video on them. Like I said, they're just a shady trash company trying to fleece money from people as easily as possible while being misleading.
Except there is a contract, and they do donate to a tree organization. 1 sq ft is too small for a deed but there is a contract stating you own it. Legal eagle did a video on it. Also it's 40 bucks for a gag certificate. If you actually thought you were getting a real title you are straight retarded. It's pretty clear you don't if you actually read through the material

Legal eagle did a video about a company that he was being paid by, and continued to run their ads, there's no chance he would say anything that would keep his contract alive. As Brandon said "established titles is one of the biggest advertising contracts out right now". Legal eagle has been known to make videos that are less legal, and more political. The main problem with Established Titles (and other such groups that do similar stuff) is that they're run by parent companies over in China or wherever, and have no actual connection to Ireland/Scotland/wherever they say they are.

5:00 A gripe I do have with Established Titles is that they don't actually plant the trees with the money you give them. They pay other charity groups to do so. I was under the impression that they would plant the tree themselves on the land being bought.
My main issue with established titles is the line mentioning how you would now be legally able to change your name/title to lord/lady. The commercial makes it seem like because of this loophole you're *legally* able to call yourself a lord legitimately. The really hammer that part of the pitch, making it seem like you're now officially recognized or something like that.
its not a loophole, if you actually live in scotland and buy land you can register to be officialy named a lord, but established titles does not register the people names and 1 square foot is not enough land and also you would have to buy the land your self and go trough the registration yourself to get the title of lord, so if you have lots of extra money to buy land in scotland you can actually become a scottish lord, which does not make you royalty or nobility like brandon seems to think, its just the title of an official land owner

I think you're reinforcing my main beef with E.T., when they say you can officially/legally call yourself a lord/lady, but if you can't register a square foot of land officially then you can't actually get the title. I think the whole thing is a racket because no land rights are transferring so the idea that the title could transfer is also a farce. I think if we were able to find out how many acres of land E.T. owns we could do some quick math and reason that they aren't actually designating square foot plots per customer.

I did my rpal exam in July and was completely crushed when the ban went through before I could even buy one. One individual I was talking to said they purposefully delayed all licencing and transfers until after the ban was in process. It's dirty, but thats how our government wants to play their hand. I think the next election will see all firearms owners standing up for their rights even more so than years past. We are a responsible firearms owners, not the ones committing the crimes. Put that money and time in Parliament towards making it harder for criminals to get their hands on them, not on punishing the rest of the country.

If you can, get a restricted that's not a hand gun, they still do transfers just not hand guns. Most restricteds are probably in the new ban list too so it might be the last time to get one for awhile. Depending what province you're in, wait times are nuts. Ontario is like 6-7 months now

Ontario resident here, personally appreciate you bringing the strict bans in Canada. I'm an avid firearms enthusiast and owner. My 1921 Izhevsk Mosin Nagant is easily my favorite of the 2 rifles I currently own, the 2nd rifle being a Pietta (yup, same company that made the firearm Alec Baldwin shot his cinematographer) PPS50, a .22lr replica that will become illegal under the new "amendment" to Bill C-21.
The really truly horrifying thing about this "amendment" is it bans all semi automatic firearms with detachable magazines, but also went as far to name the SKS and M1 Garand, along with several shotguns and very popular rifles such as the SKS. Several provinces have begun creating their own legislation in order to push back against this "Blanket Ban" of firearms. The Canadian Government (in its infinite wisdom) decided to outright ban the sale and transportation of pistols, however, this ban did NOT include a number of muzzle loading pistols, which are still legal even with the newly proposed "amendment".
the short and the fat of it is, this ban would effectively make criminals out of hundreds of thousands of Canadians, and even with the "compromises", Canadian firearms owners will still be victim to registrations that allow the government to seek out and disrupt these communities..

Recently I was at my local pawn shop when I found a Mosin 44 made in 1953. But it was nickeled. From bolt to front sights, even the bayonet was shiny. I have started referring to it as the Gucci Mosin and I have plans to buy it😂.
