For anyone who’s struggling with UTIs:
I was diagnosed with recurrent UTIs. I had 6+ a year. I am in my 20s. I stopped drinking soda and other sweet drinks. I only drink water with fresh lemon juice and a small amount of coffee every day. I’m proud to say I haven’t had a UTI in a year ❤

My mother-in-law had chronic uti's for years. I suggested she just drink more water because she didn't drink any, she said she didn't like the taste. Now she has cystitis of the bladder. Could have been a very easy fix but she just ignored that and was constantly on antibiotics but none would work anymore.

I was always getting bladder infections and my doctor would huff and look annoyed and write me out a new prescription for antibiotics every time, until my bf told me to try herbs. We get told that antibiotics are the only thing that works for bladder infections, but it's not true. My brother also told me to only resort to antibiotics in the case of a life threatening situation, a person with a doctorate in science. So I'm very skeptical about what general practitioners tell me now.

A pontential issue that I don't read often that could also contribute to UTI's is...
Not realizing how you might be wiping too rough every single time you pee... Make sure you are wiping very softly down there (especially considering you are probably peeing more than usual) and make sure you're using a soft gentle soap when you shower. Some women don't realize they themselves could be irritating the urethra more by wiping too rough or using rough toilet paper, causing microscopic tears in the skin which creates an inflammatory response since the white blood cells go there to repair the soft skin and that inflammation can possibly travel upwards, creating bloat as well, add in drinking anything acidic and you will make the skin down there even more sensitive so pay extra attention to how you are wiping and what you are cleaning yourself with down there. I truly hope this helps.

So I am taking two cranberry tablets (helps a little but not enough as the our good doctor says) but thought I would try fresh nettle (from my garden) tea and was looking at my rosemary plant whether to add that as well. The nettle tea seems to have greatly helped unless the timing was coincidence but I will be adding rosemary to the next brew. Thank you for your advice.

@Alison-g5l Nettle (all kinds) helps expelling liquids, and is surely a big helper, because with the urine also the bacteria is expelled. Rosemary and thyme essential oils are antiseptic and antibacterial, and pass in small quantities through the intestine. You might also opt for willow bark (of young branches), which is antiinflammatory.

I believe it was from the infection from the catheter removed a while back, he couldn't get in to see his GP about it because of muh C'virus restrictions ... anyhow , he had to wait two days for a bed for surgery, AND cancer from nodules on lungs to kidneys.(Doc said he's a DNR patient) Chemo a no go (I am glad) because it would be too draining for him.

We were all so confused how we all got it because it clearly sounded like something we contracted at work. I never found out and now seeing this makes me think it could have been something we all had at lunch. Never knew it was an ecoli and why they reoccur. I love learning all this and building my own notes of every illness and cures. Most of my notes come from Dr Berg !

Very good these two. Taking blackseed oil also helps too. Massage it on the body externally on the areas corresponding the affected internal organs, in combination with castor oil, which also kills many microbes but is very penetrative.
For men, you can massage the balls with the oil combo too, if you are not allergic to either of them. In 3 months, there might be pain in the affected internal organs if they are very affected (the microbes losing their attachment to the organ walls as they die), but it goes away within a week to month, depending on the severity of the infection.

Hi Dr. Berg, when I was in my teens and older I use to get uti's and yeast infections all the time oh and Bronchitis....until one day I said I had enough and went to a Natural Path and there I discovered all the recurring infections were due to taking antibiotics. She even let me read the medical book for doctors that described what the antibiotic does, I guess you can say as side effects. They cause you to have them more frequently and they get worse each time...which is what was happening to me and why I went to her. From that day I have never taken antibiotics until now when I had a bad chest cold with lots of inflammation, after I just had a case of Bronchitis...I took an antibiotic and now I have a UTI. (LOL) I haven't been sick with anything really other than a mild cold in over 30/40 years, not even covid. I always took Cranberry pills and lots of water and just recently learned about D-Mannose (great product) and I am taking it now. Its just this time the cranberry is not working that great so I am off to the health food store for Oregano and Thyme supplements...thank you for all you do to keep people like me informed. :)

Metagenics company makes a thyme/oil of oregano supplement called CandiBactin-AR. I used it after watching this video and after taking my 4th round of antibiotics (each time a different one). I know people on here are saying how many days. I was like that too. I just self prescribed based on the antibiotics. My third round of antibiotics failed after 22 days, so after finishing my 4th round of antibiotics, I started taking CandiBactin plus a separte oil of oregano to reach the strengths noted in this video for 22 days, and then I will start decreasing the dosage until I make it to 30 days. I'm at day 20 now, and so far so good. At 30 days, I may take 1 or 2 supplements a week. You have to self prescribe based on what's happening with your own body. And the water/vinegar combo, I drink with a straw because vinegar is hard on tooth enamel. Also, I've been taking d-mannose powder and a cranberry supplement 3X a day. I had a bad case.

@@mrabbasi9403 I would type in Doctor Berg and Bile and SIBO in RUclips. Basically stop _over eating,_ since over eating is done because you cannot get access to nutrients, because of SIBO, sugars, grains and insulin resistance. Without these things, you and your body will _want_ to eat less.

Many post menopausal women suffer frequent UTI's. Even in women who never had one when younger. If this is the case, seeing a urologist, or a urogynecologist, is a better idea. It could be due to changes in the body, including a weakened pelvic floor, and organ prolapse, including the bladder, uterus, cystocele, rectocele, among other abnormalities. If that's the case, none of these remedies will work. This happened to my mother. She had UTI's up to 4 times a year, for her, starting around age 60. She eventually needed surgery for pelvic organ prolapse. UTI's did not cause the POP. They were caused BY the POP. Not the other way around. Thanks for this video, Dr.Berg. You helped a lot of people with this one!

Sunday afternoon I started following advice on this video from Dr Berg and on Monday the symptoms were so much better, I didn't call my primary physician's office ( though I thought I would have to). I think the first thing to do is to get a urine culture to test what bacteria it is. I’m really glad I did one percent of cultures come back with something called.M.Morganii. I had both E. coli and the other bacteria. I don’t know how I could’ve caught it it’s usually post op, nursing homes, etc. I’m 66. but never thought I would had this. I’ve done two rounds of antibiotic because the first antibiotic was not the correct one. I’m going to retest in another two weeks and hopefully it is gone. I’m feeling better, but it was scary because That bacteria can cause a lot of problems and is resistant to a number of antibiotics. Don’t take a chance it’s great to do natural things but this UTI was getting worse. ’m so glad I went in because little did I know what was going on. I think it is gone, but who knows. I am feeling better would have loved to avoid the antibiotics, but in this case, it was serious enough that I didn’t take a chance. I’m just hoping it’s gone. Otherwise, I think there’s some great ideas here and I may try them for future prevention of UTIs.

Sometimes it’s coffee grounds too. Start double filtering your coffee after seeing the doctor & getting med, if your getting UTI’s & see if that stops them. Diet5 cranberry juice & Azo cranberry gummies help too.
*Also making sure your bladder is completely drained when urinating. Sometimes as busy moms with littles it’s so easy to just go in the bathroom & rush so to get back to the young children without even realizing our bladder isn’t completely drained. Pay closer attention to that if your getting UTI’s. Eat yogurt regularly too. NOT the sugary kind! It helps void out the bacterias in the body that causes these infections.*

Geraldo I hope you see this, I've been dealing with the same thing with my MIL, for 2+ years of UTI's and antibiotics every 2 months at best if not every month. Well she developed a AI disorder (Temporal Lobe Arteritis) which can be brought on by chronic use of antibiotics.....can we say that this was the cause,no. But it is very intriguing, we have gotten the TLA under control but now are battling Elevated glucose levels because of the high does of predisone use for TLA. She may have to go on Actemera which has its own issues. So I will advise any and all who can keep UTI's at bay and under control with out antibiotics, please do it. You can order home kits to test your urine, and I wish all elderly women but men also would understand the seriousness of UTI'S in mainly elder women but not an absolute, UTI's are a top killer of women in nursing home,it turns into Septicemia(blood infection). I will be starting my MIL on this regime. Just had a neighbor of hers she grew up with die of exactly this! both are/were 85yrs old.
