Took me a while to realize that that's Unleashed's boosting animation (retargeted to Gens Sonic, methinks).
The animations look a little different with this model. The legs are closer together, and the quills are extra long and chonky.

I don’t wanna be that guy but, this mod is absolutely perfect except one thing, the spines for the super sonic from the SA2 and SA1 costume is wrong, it don’t give him the shadow looking spines like it was in those games.

If the entire game, shared that art style, maybe. It's too bright for the world around sonic. I can easily find a single soap2 or sonic riders outfit that isn't as bright, but this mod is the only mod that I know of with settings in it already, so that's the plus I guess.
