An effective air purifier must achieve the "three high and one low" energy efficiency index.
1. High clean air volume: (CADR) is the clean air volume. The larger the value, the more clean air can be filtered out by the purifier;
2. High cumulative purification capacity: the higher the cumulative purification capacity (CCM) value, the longer the life of the filter, and the filter can contain more pollutants;
3. High energy efficiency value: more power saving;
4. Low noise level: must be less than 50 decibels, this value is relatively quiet.
In addition, the sources of air pollution in newly renovated rooms are mainly formaldehyde, benzene, TVOC, etc. If there are patients and children in the home, the air purifier's ability to remove microorganisms should be considered when choosing a purifier, that is, the higher the sterilization rate, the more Great.
After purchasing a suitable air purifier, use the air purifier correctly:

I have this air purifier. Bought it from amazon. Well after using it for few months you should check the filter and see the kind of dust that comes inside your room. My fingers turned black touching the filter. So yes it works well but not meant for larger rooms

GREAT explanation. Two questions:
1) In the F40 EW model guide, on page E-10, it clearly states that plasma cluster creates trace amounts of Ozone which may cause odor. You have said in many videos that there is "absolutely zero ozone". Please explain.
2) Bought new mattress. It has chemical smell. I put it into a small bathroom with the F40 in "Haze" mode for 8 hours (rotating the mattress every two hours). No smell change. Tried your ammonia test using Rin Fabric Whitener on a napkin. After full minute, Zero smell change. Tested with coffee on hands. Zero smell change. I can hear the plasma cluster (like radio frequency sounds), but nothing is working.

Hi, An Air Purifier must be used at a place where we spend most of our time. Ideally the bedroom. It is also said that if we breathe fresh air for at least 8 to 10 hours a day, it can help reduce our exposure to pollutants and help build our immune system. dear sprint : indians ready to spend 30000 to 50000 for an ac even though they knew it is harm to health, also water purifier is now become more important (godrej w.p. costs 15000 mrp ) and so air purifier too gets attention.....sharp is always known for good quality products than any other consumer company.( u can check with those having sharp tv )... one part, the repacing filter cost morethan 5000 but reqd after 2 year only, as sharp giving a 2 year warranty

The Pre Filter can only ne washed. Rest of them should be only cleaned with dry cloth

what is pollen
During Spring & Autumn, the new flowers come and they give rise to flower dust. These are predominantly used for reproduction of plants when they spread with the air and germinate. However for some people (mainly children) these flower dust gives rise to allergic reaction. Hi Andy, Sharp has a global policy to support customer with spares & consumables for a period of 5 years from the date of discontinuation of the product.
We have discontinued FU-W43E and FU-A28E in 2010, we still have sufficient Filters and spares for those models.

The price of replacement Filter of FU-Z31E is Rs 3200 including all taxes and delivery. It is available ex-stock and as many as you want. The prices are available at all branches and even with our Service Locations.
It looks like sharp has poor customer support. I have called Sharp customer support two times (2 months ago) to get the detials of the product as well as to get the contact details of the dealers in Mumbai. Both the time I have been told that the marketing team will contactme at the earliest. I am still waiting for their call! Basically the calling to their 1800-number is a waste of time. If this is how they care about the potential customers, I dont know how they do business in India.

How can you measure the QUALITY OF HEPA by virtue of CADR ??
Do you understand that CADR means "clean air delivery rate" .. so if I put the carbon filter will then the CADR increase of decrease ??
and you are just selling a single HEPA Filter machine in India. Stop fooling Indians ... Bhai log this company thinks they can make a fool of you. Sharp is selling cheap bad quality air purifiers in India.
It might work in Japan but it sucks in india. The filter gets choked in 1 month and then you have to spend Rs.3,000 every month or two.
