How many years does the plasmacluster ion emit in a JP30E air purifier last? I read 2 years 24/7 sleep mode for the hepa filter. How about the emission of tha plasmacluster ions?
How often should I use ionise the air? Once a week would be enough? I know it depends on many things - my air is generally clean as indicated by your air purifier.
Hello Sharp. Quick question before I place the order. What is stopping the H+ and the O- ions to combine together when they are released from the plasmacluster and creating an OH- radical and subsequently into either H2O or H2O2 ? Also are there any contraindications on where this plasmacluster option should not be used ? e.g when there are any fumes which could contain other ions ? What happens when the positive ions are inhaled before neutralisation with a negative ion outside the body ?

They can't because they are surrounded by water molecules while they are spread into the air. Sharp only produces the NEGATIVE & POSITIVE Ions, rest of it is done by NATURE.

And our Technology also doesn't make the particles fall on the ground (or nearest horizontal surfaces). Looking forward to your clarifications so that we can respond correctly.

I am using a Himalayan salt rock lamp since June 2017. I purchased a Sharp Air purifier with a plasma cluster technology last month. Is it any problem to use both ( salt lamp and plasma cluster air purifier ) in the same room?

These lamps produce negative ions which add weight to the particle and fall to the next horizontal surfaces. However the Plasmacluster Technology provides a variety of benefits like producing fresh air, neutralising gases, destroying microbes and reducing static charge. So it is not necessary that you use the salt lamps anymore.

Will Plasmaclusters or HEPA filter or Carbon Active filter neutralized essential oil vapors in the air and remove the scent?
Hi, Your comment is quite encouraging as we have been claiming that all VOC's and poisonous gases may be neutralised by Plasmacluster technology. It is quite difficult to source the right kind of essential oils today as they are generally not pure and authentic which instead harm our lungs.

According to your data Plasmacluster tech breaks the water into ions. Well. But there is a confusion, water can break into H+ and OH- ion or as H+ and O²- ion. The O²- in known as oxide ion. But your data shows its O- ion (which is highly unstable) and also O2- (the '2' is written in subscript), this is completely different from oxide because it is known as superoxide ion. So how it is possible? Which one is correct? Is it a mistake in writing or typing? Pls clarify?

What's the differences between Plasmacluster positive ion VS Positive ion floating in the air(dander, pollen etc)?
The dander and other charged particles do not float in the air, but gets attracted to cushions and other surfaces as Static Charge. They can't be compared with NATURAL SAFE & EFFECTIVE Plasmacluster Ions

sharp plasmacluster generator needs to be replaced every 2 years or so.

Very good question! Yes, once mold, virus, other pathogens and even chemical fumes are killed or neutralised the harmful substances are converted into water molecule.
As you can also watch the first part of the video where it explains how these POSITIVE & NEGATIVE Ions are generated by Plasmacluster Unit. It consists of a pair of electrodes and when the AIR passes through it, the water vapour in it is broken into Positive H & Negative O Ions. So a balance is maintained. It is the same as it happens in NATURE. A perfect balance.

Sharp Plasmacluster Technology will not contribute to increase or even decrease in humidity, but creates a balance in the Indoor spaces. If you are already using an Air Conditioner that will help in reducing Humidity. Or if there are no AC's, then please install an Exhaust Fan for improving comfort in a low ventilated space.

I still don't understand why it's BETTER to have both positive and negative ions. I understand how effective plasmacluster is for cleaning the air. But what about the benefits of inhaling negative ions? Is it beneficial to inhale both positive and negative ions? Aren't positive ions supposed to be harmful?
Then These ions can break down the protein structure of human cell also after inhaling and on skin and eyes also ?

I Understand Certification and do not have any doubt , just logically i asked above question , The answer might be both Virus Cell and human Cell are different (am i correct ?) , one more question at 4:29 of your video -you are saying hydroxyl radical breaks DNA of mold and Virus and breaks Protein Structure but actually Protein layer encapsulate DNA in nucleus , so how reverse can happen.

If ions can destroy pathogens, can't they harm lungs cells? Are ions not harmful to human body and lungs??
In the process how much Ozone gets generated in an hour if any? As ozone is highly toxic, one should know before using this type of ionizer

But I got an impression after watching the video, that it doesn't really clarify what exactly is different from making negative ions that the machine is doing. I hope to get a more detailed explanation. Please do understand I am an end user of your product and I don't belong to any competition in the field. And being an engineer myself can't stop asking till I get more clarity. Additionally I know any ionizers are bound to create O3 in the process.

Why does it say in the manual that it emits small levels of ozone? Then you claim it does not produces any harmful ozone? Its misleading consumers.
Which is true? Dont just tell us that it has several safety certifications and just believe that. Then why declare it has small traces of ozone in the manual? If you say it does not produce ozone, it shouldnt be indicated there in the first place, right?

To bad the Ion Generator in the machine only last for 2 years. It has a life span of around 17 000 hours.
If you are using 24 x 7 the Plasmacluter Unit works for 19000 hours and warning starts at 17000 hours. If you are using it for 12 hours a day, then it lasts for 4 years

I don't understand exactly.
1.: In Chemistry have the hidroxil radical the highest oxidative capacity ahead of H2o2 (Hidrogen peroxid) and the very harmful Ozone (O3) also. This OH is so "intelligent" that react only with pathogens? The cells from human body is also full with proteins.
I see that this technology has been verified, certified from many labs but in healthcare used all disinfectants and disinfectan systems like alcohols, fenols, UV-C irradiation, H2O2 etc-etc. have same dangerous effect on human body.
The plasmacluster moreover is good for skin!

1. Your are absolutely right, OH radicals have the highest oxidation capability. You may note that OH is not produced by Plasmacluster Technology, we produce POSITIVE & NEGATIVE Ions same as NATURE. These ions bind with water molecules to make it stronger and stable which are then released to each and every corners of the room by the unique 20 degree airflow. These ions then find the pathogens and on the surface of it combines together to create OH momentarily which breaks the DNA and pulls out the protein. The H and OH combination then returns to the atmosphere as water vapour. The safety of Plasmacluster has been tested and verified by 32 global labs. It is also proven to be safe for exposure to eyes, skin and hair. Plasmacluster only attacks single cell microorganisms.
2. We have answered this question above. Additionally, The Ions stay active for a long duration and when they come in contact with pathigens, chemical or gases, it create OH radical momentarily to destroy them.
