This is very informative in this competitive world. I have two queries: 1. I'm in Bangalore, where the moist in my home is high & also because of closed env., I have high molds, fungus & foul smells. This has added into lot of health issues to my family in terms of Asthma, regular Sneeze, Cold and so on. While we take regular measures, yet maintenance is a challenge. In your lab report shared in this video, you haven't highlighted much of Molds OR just mentioned it reduces. Is there anything more specific info you can share on the same. 2. While we have seen many proofs thr' lab reports & video's uploaded ... and maybe will also see a demo of the product, since each house env. might be different ... would all of these reports provide you confidence to take back the product (say in 15 days or so), if found not serving OUR purpose? The combination of ACTIVE CARBON & Pre Filter Mesh is washable. But please note that you need to place it horizontally on a flat surface and drop lukewarm water from top. The frame is cardboard, hence be careful to dry it(by placing horizontally) before putting it back in the Purifier. For HEPA, just expose it in the sunlight for two to three hours once in two months.
A few queries1. What about removal / neutralization of the following which are actually the major pollutants present in our air a. SO 2 b. NO2 c. CO d. O3What percentage of the above remain in the room after use of the purifier for say 15 minutes .Certification for these ? I don't see certification for this in your certification details on your website.2. What about PM 1 ie, .3 to 1 micron. Certification for this ?3. What technology is used for plasma generation . Any ionization process is bound to produce ozone from oxygen present in the air.4. What is the CADR for FU 80 Ew at low fan speeds? Half of 480 cubic meter per hour ? With a ceiling height of 10 feet you get only 4 to 4.5 air changes per hour. This is less than a one third of recommended standards for fresh air internationally and in India too. Let us explain as below: Negative Ionizers/ Vita Ions/ Chargers etc as they are called consists of an electrode which charges the Oxygen in the air to produce O2(-). This starts floating in the air and when they come across a Positive Allergen, surrounds them, adds weight and drops towards the nearest Horizontal surfaces. The Negative Ions has a typical life of 15 to 20 seconds and thereafter these allergens can return back to the air. These Negative Ions can also couple with Oxygen to produce Ozone. On the other hand Sharp Plasmacluster consists of two electrodes, A Positive and Negative. This machine is very cost-effective.
no doubt that sharp manufacturers very gud products but always has very bad after sales support issue and now wrapping up its operations in india as it is aquired by foxconn. customer are very upset about the future support for the product. can you give some confidence to customers on that ground.

Not convinced - not by this video when you use blindfold like in magic shows and you keep putting the odor and other substance at the air outlet where it's simply blown away - any fan can do that.

Thanks for replying. It *IS* impossible in science terms to use a ionizer and not generate ozone. Certification or not!
Is there a way to turn off your ionizers completely if I buy your air purifier ??

Plasmacluster and Ionizers are not same. Let us explain as below:
Negative Ionizers/ Vita Ions/ Chargers etc as they are called consists of an electrode which charges the Oxygen in the air to produce O2(-). This starts floating in the air and when they come across a Positive Allergen, surrounds them, adds weight and drops towards the nearest Horizontal surfaces. The Negative Ions has a typical life of 15 to 20 seconds and thereafter these allergens can return back to the air. These Negative Ions can also couple with Oxygen to produce Ozone.
On the other hand Sharp Plasmacluster consists of two electrodes, A Positive and Negative. They break the water molecule in the air and creates the same levels of POSITIVE & NEATIVE Ions present in NATURE (Vaidated) As soon as the Ions are generated, they couple with the water vapour and form a cluster, hence the name Plasmacluster. These complete blocks are pushed with the Fan and Sharp's role ends here and Nature takes over. These blocks then does the following
1. Generate Fresh Air
2. Neutralize Toxic Gases & VOC
3. Kill Infectious substances
4. Hydrate Skin
All the above claims have got multiple Verifications. There is NO OZONE Produced in the process.
