How did you treat the edges of the MDF panels - they looked great in the end. Were they sealed or just rubbed down after the primer coat?
Hi thanks for your comment. They would have been sealed and rubbed down between coats.
Those knots are gonna bleed through! Nice demo though. Gonna start with one of these tomorrow. Good looking finish.
This was a genuine job site which we turned up just to show the spraying - all surface prep was done beforehand.
@@WAGNERContractor Thanks for the reply. I used mine this week to put some Deluxe Quick drying satinwood on skirtings and architraves. It was set on max power and material to get anything out at all.. The finish was excellent once it had settled, but the initial effect was very 'spotty'... can you recommend a good water based satin or eggshell for the XVLP?
@@colliedogjoy I bought one of these sprayers to spray trim in my own home. I haven’t used it yet but I’m painting the trim Benjamin Moore Advance. From various other videos I’ve watched it looks like paint regardless of the brand sprays better if it’s diluted some. I’m curious if you diluted the paint you used and if it still sprayed spotted? I can’t wait to try mine and see what kind of results I get.
@@MP-yz6sb The paint that sprayed spotted was undiluted Deluxe Quick Drying Satinwood. I had better results with F&B Modern eggshell thinned 1:4. I should have thinned the Deluxe, but I wanted 2x thick coats to dry fast and as it settled well enough I was content. It would only flow through the gun with air and material controls at their max and the pencil spray on the fine spray head.
@@MP-yz6sb You'll be fine. I tries undiluted Dulux quick drying satinwood as I wanted 2x thick coats. I've previously used F&B modern eggshell thinned 1:4 with great results. Here's the spotty paint that settled fine. The machine was maxed out for it, however - definitely preferred thinner paint - through the fine finish head. ruclips.net/video/WD71etXOJI4/видео.html
Those hinges though
Thanks for your comment. Assume it was what the customer chose! 🤷♂️ How would you have finished them if it was you?
Concealed hinges, Bruh
Can you use this sprayer to spray ceiling roses and cornices?
Hello, yes there is a wall spray attachment which is suitable for emulsion paint so would be ideal. Kind Regards WAGNER
@@WAGNERContractor my main concern is tilting the gun, not the attachment
@@lecrapauddejerri9 you turn the angled nozzle inside the paint cannister depending if you're aiming up or down
@@charliemccauley6467 i've heard paint from the reservoir can find its way down the tube into the turbine and break it. Especially with the 3500
