Well here we are again.
Yes indeed.
Scott and agents, JOB WELL DONE yet again!
Holy cow! It's alive! That Dodge is something else. You got to fix it. It's too rare and the fun factor of being able to load up your friends and get out on the road for a drive is too great not to get it road ready. Thanks for another fantastic video and taking my dog and I along for the ride in your yard. It looks like it's just floating along. Ted and Kao
Excellent video.enjoyed watching you save the motor
I hope the former owner has seen this. If he had any doubts, this will let him know she's gone to the right guy.
Last vid he said he is going to keep him updated.
This engine is junk. Let’s clean this garbage. She runs, ay! She runs great! Just another great day at Cold War Motors!
I caught that too.
Absolutely amazing, once again IT LIVES ‼️🎯
When I look at how many subscribers you have, I feel bad for all the people missing out.
Spread the word, Brother or Sister!
I found out about Keith Fenner when another You Tuber mentioned his "human 3d printer" video in well deserved awe, go watch it if you haven't!
Guess who mixed up which You Tube channel he was on when replying to the above comment? No prize for guessing right! Both Fenner and CWM don't get the audiences they deserve. CWM at least should know that machinists like Fenner exist and can fabricate precision parts when you really need one to fix a terribly screwed up car or truck. Considering that CWM is in oil country, I bet that a great machinist isn't far away!
there's something about that car the screams "Restore me!!!"
Nope; 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 about that car screams "Restore me." 👌👍😁
I wonder if they'll go for it? I'd love to see it. Would the cost be 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 high, doing the work themselves? The basic mechanicals seem fairly OK and, with the skills/talents available, a new(ish) interior would be feasible; the glass looks good and the bodywork isn't the worst. I wonder what it's like underneath?
I would not restore it, however fix the rust holes, paint the minimum needed to cover the new metal and mechanically make it functional then reupholster it. In other words make it a larger equivalent to the Fraizer.
@@richvandervoort2950 With it being a "limo", I would go a bit further, certainly with the paint. Everyone seems to go for the "patina" look but a rare, fancy machine like this needs a nice paintjob.🌟🌟😁
@@2H80vids another reference to 59 Biscayne, that kind of paint job would do fine, reminds me of the frasier, somewhat complete, runnable but doesn't need to be perfect, roadworthy would be a lot to ask but hearing it run it could happen
That Limo Observatory wants to run down the road again she's alive she's alive
She deserves a Resto
My thoughts exactly.. ..What an unique piece to restore. Hooray for Cold War Motors. ! I'm an agent every Saturday....
Leave it as-is...Rent out the Frankenstein Limo. Leave the torn interior.
be great for going to get chips
I’d love to see that limo restored,
They're going to need to follow Jonathan W. Buy a old sewing machine and learn to do upholstery !!! I'm sure they would do it quite well just like everything else !!!
Oh shit! The tire in the dishwasher. Priceless, LOLOL.
Actually, I used to use an old portable dishwasher for cleaning engine parts in my garage. It works really well and they can be had cheap or free on trash day.
One thing about Frankers is she never judges your cars. She just wants to go bye bye.
driving it already!!!! WOW
Hey boss! Yeah, well, in the yard anyway... I don't think she's ready for any trips to the mountains just yet! Cheers from here...
Grinning ear to ear the whole video especially the last minutes as HRH Queen Frankers surveyed her kingdom.
Same here, fabulous, all of it.
''No use doing the holes!'' Now I know that I'm peering over the shoulders of giants! ;]
Scott thank you so very much for your weekly dose of "sanity". There have been a few changes in my life that I have no control over, however, CWM is what puts a smile on my face and puts things in balance! Thank goodness it's Saturday!
I agree I always can't wait til CWM is on and this one was was extra special getting the old limo going
Join the Club of C.W.M for our weekly dose of sanity/reality.
Never hav i loved the same old shit so much!
Coldwarmotors one hour of the week is never wasted how are you going to outdo yourself on this one I mean come on that was awesome
It's a old Dodge flathead, they turn and sorta run after sitting in a field forever. We got a 41 Carry All military Dodge going that had been parked in a old saw mill by the Sandy River after at least 20 years. Block had 3 cracks between the freeze plugs and they sprayed the cylinders down and put a tune up on it and it started, had oil pressure, and only leaked water for tiny bit till it heated up and closed back up. They drove it around with one mostly working brake for a while and eventually replaced the engine just because of the cracks. Pretty sure they were forced to rebuild the brakes and drove it as is for a long time, you could barely see through the windshield and all the needles on the guages were broke off but the nubs moved.
Thanks, #ColdWarMotors, for sheet metal & painting tips, bringing back good car memories and bringing old cars back to life. I cherish the ability to spend these calm Saturday evenings, with friends, in a garage - even if only on a RUclips movie of someone else, half a world away. Cheers!
My wife watches with me because of Frankers. There's something for everyone.
So does my daughter. She loves the cool cars and shenanigans, but she's a a Frankers fan first and foremost. She cried when Stella passed, but then again, so did I.
The Pennsylvania Rubber Company was founded on May 25, 1899 by Herbert DuPay in Erie, Pennsylvania. Its industry is tennis balls (originally including other rubber products) and its headquarters is in Phoenix, Arizona (formerly Jeannette, Pennsylvania). It was purchased by the General Tire & Rubber Company in 1945. It was acquired by HEAD, Inc. in 1999.
I was gonna research, glad you did already. Sure PENN Tennis 🎾 and rackets for a long time. Tennis anyone?
Gregory Zunic they also had a tire plant in Tupelo Mississippi years ago
@@coyboybc wondering how that tire wound up in Alberta Canada.
@@lionvillelion Some one from Alberta probably visited a relative in Pennsylvania, had a tire failure, and purchased the tire in Pennsylvania, and drove back to Canada.
ColdWarMotors Limo service! Prom dates, funerals and weddings! Maybe all three at the same time...
*3-in-1 service only available in Saskatchewan.
The girl's dad(holding a shotgun): "Make sure she's back home from the prom by 10pm or there's gonna be a funeral."
Think Scott missed his calling - could have been a filmmaker. and won awards for best documentary, set design, cinematography, musical score and best actress - Frankers.
Someone mentioned you on Weird Beard's channel so I am checking you out. He is doing a 59 Coronet. I subscribed.
Tom is a classic, always has the funniest lines.
My Neighbor had an old '60's SAAB. Every morning as I'd walk to school, his leaving for work coincided with my walk up the same block to the corner. He'd start the car, barely wait 10 seconds before pulling out onto the street then leave a blue smoke stream of exhaust fumes the entire length of the roadway. The smoke would linger long after he'd left the block and I'd have to inhale that smog for several minutes until it either blew away with a breeze or if I made it to the corner and turned left (the opposite direction he would turn). This procedure lasted from 6th grade through to 12th . when I graduated so did he as he's bought a Dodge Dart after that.
“....and the other five are just things that go up and down....” Terrific! 😉
It is so satisfying to see that car drive under her own power after almost 50 years. Old commercial vehicles don't get the respect they deserve.
I normally don't comment videos on RUclips. But i have to break my rule here. The channel you have is absolutely perfect! I enjoy every single video! But since I've seen the dodge limo, something changed. This car is speaking to me. She says: "You have to fix me up, and im gonna give you lots of road trip memories in my super sunny interior!". I don't know if its a rare car in your area, but it just looks super cool to me!
Жив и здрав!
(Stay alive and healthy!)
Greetings from Bulgaria!
You people amaze, fascinate, entertain, educate and restoreth my soul. With that I thank you.
Nothing wrong with Steven's Saab habit!
It's not serious enough to warrant an intervention, and it's very definitely keeping him off the streets! 🤣
I kinda like the Saab 96s. 2 strokes are unique and people are always complaining that she smokes too much. Would be a perfect backdrop car for the cigarette vignettes. Just saying.
He just needs a DKW to go with it
Only Whirlpool has that Whitewall setting on their dishwashers!
I think that's the most excited I ever got for a Classic Tire extra...sweeeeet white wall.
This episode of Coldwarmotors brought to you by Gibbs, and Dempsters Buns!
haha love the classic tire washer. did NOT expect that!
Somehow I can just seem to feel the other cars in the yard silently cheering the Dodge on during that first start
Enjoy the limo. She cleaned up quite nicely! Got a chuckle out of the tire in the dishwasher. Brought back memories. When I was young, dumb, single and broke, living in an apartment. I had a 75 Chevrolet Monza 2+2 v8 4 speed manual with the turbine hubcaps. Cleaning them was almost impossible because of the small spaces and textured surfaces of the blades. A neighbor came out and installed the very clean wire spoke on his wheels. I asked him how he got them so clean. He said dishwasher. Ding, ding ding! I promptly went and got those turbines off the Monza and put them in the dishwasher. Ran them through a cycle and then checked them out. Had never seen them so nice! Moved them around a bit to get the spots that didn’t come clean and ran them again. They came out spanking new clean looking. So after that I did that on a routine basis. Then one day my mom came over and being mom, started cleaning up my kitchen while I was in the other room. I heard her let out a yelp and when I went to check on her she was standing there holding the open door to the dishwasher with that look moms have when the see their kids do something totally unexpectedly outrageously crazy. She never forgot that event. She would bring it up occasionally when she wanted to share a funny story.
This has got to my one of my favorite uploads yet. I love that old Limo, plus the victory laps with Frankers! That van is looking amazing, can't wait to see what will be next on it. I'll join everyone else and say it would be amazing to see that limo restored, granted it looks like a major undertaking.
I know now how my parents felt on Saturday Night when the Honeymooners came on the TV with Jackie Gleason, Art Carney, Audrey Meadows and Joyce Randolph. 😁
Cold war time! "Honey, you may bring me my beer!"
Painting the van was like painting the side of a battleship. Very nice technique.
AEROLUX!
Y'know, when I think if all the years we had a rather exclusive "club" here as viewers of CWM
and what it has blossomed into now, I get all sort of misty-eyed or somethin'.
I'm seeing more and more shout outs to CWM on several other YT channels now, which is
really cool since you know at least two of us know what they're referring to. :-)
All it really takes is enough of us spreading the word, really - the channel sells itself from there.
The latest for me was seeing that "Coastal" something or other guy on Nick's Garage giving a
shout out to CWM yesterday and it struck me as ironic...
most viewers of that channel probably would have said "who's CWM?"
Me, I was thinking "who is this Coastal whatchamacallit guy - and why is he yelling?" :-)
Lookit, all I know is I was wandering around YT a decade ago in the middle of the night,
waiting on the next surgery at the hospital when I stumbled across CWM...
and I haven't left since.
Y'all that are somewhat newer to the channel, go way back and watch some early episodes...
and prepare to be amazed. Or something....
All I know is there's a CWM sticker on the back window of Fred, my own '68 GTX - and in
Tennessee, I've only run across one other person who knew what it was (which was one
more than I ever expected!).
It ain't a bad gig folks. Stick around long as you can. I know I am!
-Ed on the Ridge
I'm loving the enhanced production on classic tire. Great fun as always.
BTW:I'm'not running on all cylinders',but I don't walk in circles..I get where I'm going, and so will that awesome car.Thank for giving us all hope in what we have too.
look`s like frankers is having a great time.great to see these old cars saved.and thanks for all the great video`s
It looked like a game of Whack-a-Mole when you were tapping the valves with a hammer while turning over the engine. The tire in the dishwasher scene was classic. One of the best episodes.
Getting the Dodge going is why I'm a patreon, great!
Deans got the greasy flips going, can hear the kijiji alert haha
Van is looking great ! The old dodge getting going after all the engine rust is mind blowing !🤯
Wooow....that Limo is awesome....far out ;) Must be restored back to its former glory...coldwarmotors style of course ;)
Dodge limo for the chip run before the end of this year!
Ah! That Dodge Limousine... I can’t stop watching it glide, amazing, I want it ... now.
I must say , I’m amazed that car is running . Pretty cool . Nice job Agents . Jay Leno eat your heart out 😎✌️
The old Girl looks and feels better all cleaned up. Happy to see the Old Dodge up and running from your amazing magic.
Best day ever. I went to a car show, got a screaming deal on a carb at the swap meet, ate decent Mexican food, took a nap, and a new Cold War Motors.
I could see dean doing tours around scotts yard is this old rig well trying to sell his greasy flips at the same time it
would be a hoot. He be like on the right we have the classic tyre storage shed etc.... People would line up to ride with
frankers as well I bet. Great job saving a cool bit of history it's in the right home.
There is a very good possibility that Marilyn Monroe and Robert Mitchum may have ridden in this very car during the filming of the movie “River of No Return”, which was filmed in Jasper National Park in Alberta Canada. Jasper National Park had cars like this one custom built, same color, same make and model and everything. They required the panoramic roof windows to accentuate the incredible mountain views.. Read up on it in this link and see a restored twin version of this car. www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2012/03/car-collectors-corner-1952-dodge-limo-good-enough-for-marilyn-monroe-and-robert-mitchum/
Wow, A video jammed pack full of all kinds of goodies! Thanks for a great show.
I still wonder why you guys have such a small number of subscribers, your car channel is probably the most interesting and funny one of all. This channel should have 300k dammit!
You guys are so Awesome n I like how you all help each other n work together n have a great time doing it n plus having Fun n I wish I had friends like that n I did when I wad in my 20s
That is absolutely amazing how well that dodge runs. Visually(with the head off)it looked as if all was lost. With a light tidy it came back to life.
That old Dodge Limo is a rare bird. It’s damn near amazing the engine runs.
Thanks boys, you are helping me through a tough time. Moving 50 years worth of my folks stuff out of the house I grew up in, dad was a life long hot rodder. It ain't easy, take care! And thanks again, Will
Dear Santa, please give Scott a ultrasonic cleaner this Christmas, and a sandblasting cabinet too for good measure. He's been really good on RUclips this year...
For the amount of content of his I have watched this year I'd donate to help make it happen.
Perfect ending too my day. Wonderful to see the limi go. Send the previous owner a pic, sure he'll be please. The production was fantastic! Look forward too it every saturday night, keep up & a couple of arf..,arf's for Frankers. See you next week my canadian friends.
😅🤣😂 LOVE IT. THE ONLY THING MISSING IS THE CHAUFFEUR'S HAT.
The old Dodge Limousine has been brought back to life! This one is truly amazing! Initial looks seemed to indicate it was a lost cause (crack in block etc.). This group of auto lovers has put the effort into bringing it back from the brink! Then moving it about even brought the clutch back into operating condition. The final scene with the car cleaned up and moving under its own power again is a sight to behold!
The classic tire segment never disappoints.
Good to see the old Dodge running! I see that Frankers Approves!
Whether it's Dodge or Packard--those flatheads refuse to die!
John Donlon cracked block and all
FANTASTIQUE !!!
J adore coldwarmotor,
Cette limousine est une vraie trouvaille et rare. C est toujours impressionnant de voir toutes ces machines oubliées et perdues rennaitrent à la vie.
C est toujours avec passion et impatience de voir un nouvel épisode. (Excellente musique )
Long life coldwarmotor .
The limo deserves saving, so rare and unique!
That Dodge deserves to live again, beautiful car and so rare. Great teamwork as always. Can't wait to see the boogie vans trick paint job! Awesome Saturday night entertainment guys. Best wishes from the UK!👍
The Dodge “stretched”, Hotel guest limo.. Fantastic. So great to see you guys find its running mode.
I’m in love.
The black paint seal on the van.
That van looks amazing. The body work was finished to perfection for it to look that good in black.
From garbage to running with no bread....Oh wait, Scott did have to lay out some bread. HAHAHA. Never would have thought of that trick. Great job
I'm a 51 model, woke up this morning & felt every bit as good as the Coronet sounded!
@Leonard Carr There was to be a reunion of surviving old Kiwi's at Squeak Bell's in Bakersfield this year but the Chinavirus screwed the pooch on that. I was a Garden City Rodder in Chch.
Man that limo is to cool glad you got her runnin....cant wait to see more on that beautiful fury too
Scott you guys are amazing cant believe you got this running after seeing that block really made my saturday night would love to see this in mint condition but know its unlikely this car really wants to run 1000 thankyous great show as always nothing stops you trying wish there were more people thinking outside of the box have a great week success always nothing beats you.... my favourite show by far
53 minutes of Cold War Motors to calm the ringing in my ears
Colin Stables I have that problem too! It is irritating when everything is quite, but CWM is anything but quite!!
The Dodge Limo is so unique it deserves to be restored! What a cool car!
Good olde sandpaper valve job lmao haha. Love it man, id do it too :) Scott, you are a great painter bud.
This has to be your new daily driver Scott!
Just amazing what those old engines will tolerate. Well done!
That limo's engine was just napping, now it's good to go again - at least around the #coldwarmotors compound. Good job, gentlemen! Cheers!
Great episode, love the painting. Just add the LIMO might end up being one of the most valuable cars you ever own but I could be wrong.
Best channel on RUclips.
Tom had me rolling with the wiper comment!!!!. Then I had to scroll ahead to see if the limo was driving........great Love it.!!!! You make my week......
More advance. Simply amazing what a little attention can do to bring something back to life.
Boogie Van ... woot
looking sharp
I see the Dodge Limousine being the first vehicle in the fleet for touring the Cold War Motors theme park. With so many people wanting to visit the site and Scott and the agents wanting a certain amount of anonymity, the Dodge Limo, with its viewing windows, is perfect to drive visitors through the grounds. Naturally Dean would be tour guide. Don’t laugh...stranger things have happened....especially this year!
"Your-Classic" Park. Look at all the dinosaurs!
Incredible body work and paint especially on how well the fender flares turned out.
Can’t wait to paint my van this year. Going through this series again for inspiration and to learn techniques.
Seeing that limo motorvating under her own power was incredible. I know you have a huge list of projects, but I hope this one follows soon on the tails of the Fury! It just screams Coldwar Motors, and should eventually be on a t-shirt,which I personally would be happy to purchase !!!
Limo looks great running across screen looks like a Limo that deserves a little interior work and and and ready to go into service as coldwarmotors Limo service for the gang.
“The Formula 1 guys are always stealing my tricks”. Hilarious! I’ve been watching you for years and I tune in every week. I envy you and your friends hanging out and doing this stuff. Thanks for all you do.
Saturdays have never been the same since I found CWM, and that's a good thing. You and your agents are amazing and so entertaining. Maybe you could do a raffle and the prize would be a day at CWM. I'm sure you would sell hundreds of tickets. Thanks for sharing the fun.
I'm loving that old Dodge! A little tidy and she was ready and raring to go.
Frankers stole the show at the end ❤
The Coronet looks righteous ! Presidential Limo. Love this hour ! Thanks Scott. I see you have some drum chops too. I knew about the bass (you told us as much). Fun visit. 👍😎🏍👽🚗
now thats some car wash music !
Ahh my Sunday morning enjoyment waking up and watching coldwarmotors 😃
Frankers sittin' back there like, "Hoke! Drive me to the Piggly Wiggly!" ;-)
I gotta tell ya, the van looks great....... but the Dodge looks greater! That car is just awesome!
That is amazing how well it runs considering how rusty it was. Great job bringing her back to life!
