For you knowledge the tiny jerkiness of the throttle is mainly due to the fueling map installed to conform with euro 5 regulations. With a simple flash of the ecu (no need for a full exhaust system or sport air filter) you will get back a fluid throttle control, even at lower rpms. A sensible improvement in the horsepower to the wheel will also be achieved. The old stock Aprilias were kinda muted too, but the euro 5 one suffers it the most.

Ive always asked myself why the tuonos get called nakeds when they almost look identical to the supersport versions of em. Compare an r1 to an mt10. Completely different bikes. Proper naked bike aswell the mt10.
Indeed one of the best sounds in motorcycling. The whole bike is justified for the music alone. But sadly, recorded audio never quite captures it. You gotta hear one in person for the full emotional experience.
You should test ride the streetfighter v4. I had tuono 1100 since 2017 and a few weeks ago I test rode the streetfighter and I was amazed how much of an improvement it is over the tuono 1100. The throttle is silky smooth and behaves very well in lower RPMs. Also, it feels more torquey than the Tuono 1100 the power kicks in much earlier on the streetfighter, and when it does hold on for your dear life. Overall it's so much nicer to live with every day but the performance is something else, my 2018 r1 feels like a slow and heavy bike in comparison. I will definitely get one in a near future.
the logic there is funny he blurs it out the first time on the highway there in 1st gear, I think, doing 80+mph and then here later he doesn't blur it when it reaches 96mph😂😂
I’m not sure I would classify it as a naked bike? It has substantial fairing cover on the sides and the front isn’t ugly. If we’re going to call it a naked bike - it’s the only good looking one I’ve even seen and the only one I would buy.

I personally wouldn't put a too crazy exhaust on it, like a CR-T that sounds almost like a straight pipe.
The Tuono we had earlier this year had a full akra - it was glorious, definitely watch my track vid on that one
My track instructor has ‘17 Tuono with a Akra system - sounds glorious as he passes me down the main straight at Eastern Creek.
The arrow slip on brings out all the lovely sounds and makes more power without a tune (ref. 44Teeth RSV4)

Similar to a fully-faired supersport bike, but without the fairings (at least on the sides). Kinda like someone just removed the fairings.
