You should try the new Speed Triple 1200 RS ;-)
Is there anyway you could message me or somewhere I could message you. I need some assistance with my 2022R1 and I can’t find anything on RUclips to help me out or explain what I need to know. Thank you.
I really get that how a nimble bike like this naked feels great in town. I've always riden supermotos myself since I was 18 cuz of being nimble and straight up position. My bike now is really light too so turns very well. These heavy/powerful nakeds aren't cheap but this V4 is the best 4stroke sound for me and unlike supermotos is still fit to drive highways etc too.
I got my 21 Tuono Factory three months ago and I’m already about to hit 10k miles. It is. THE BEST bike to ever exist. I’m so happy you’re finally showing Aprilia some love.
I had the RR 2020 model and I was in love with her. The euro5 model is better with the heat on your legs (wins are not only for the aerodynamic) and is still smother than mine. At the end I sell it to have a trail model (cheaper, more confortable but with less soul and character)🤷🏻♂️
Have you had any issues with reliability? 10K miles in 3 months is insane!
@@matth8924 Zero issues with reliability. There was only one instance when I first initially bought the bike around 400 miles it had the ever slightest leak on one of the engine gaskets which once brought up to the dealer was taken care of immediately. It was just a simple gasket that didn’t seat properly. Other than that, literally nothing. And I honestly don’t see that as an issue given how quickly it was resolved.
Can you give a long term review? I'm looking at getting an aprilia and want to know what their like high miles after a few years. I've heard good things
@@falka6751 I honestly have zero complaints. Coming up on 37k miles and had the valves serviced every 10k. The bike has had zero mechanical issues since owning it and all maintenance has been done either early or on time. The ride is phenomenal and I’ve ridden it from Tampa FL to the tail of the dragon several times now along with other cross country trips. The power is absolutely raw and hasn’t dumbed down a bit. I have a the Gabro race tune, SC Project exhaust, Gabro velocity stacks and Woodcraft GP shift link.
"I can't wait to" -- I think you sealed the deal right there my guy!! Grabbed one this summer been loving it
I mean, if that’s the sound it’s making out of the factory we can only imagine how nasty it would rip with an aftermarket can. This bike totally fits your channel style, too.
Aprilia for the win.
I put an Austin racing can on mine insane sound
@K6man I am very jealous.
You must have a permanent smile on your face whenever you go for a ride.
I would love just to have a ride on one nevermind own one.
You're a lucky man sir.
Enjoy. In my humble opinion you've got the best roadbike in the world bar none.
One of the very few changes that will enhance an already amazing piece of machinery is an exhaust to make the V4 purr and howl even sweeter.
@@sleepindragon179 Definitely smiling on all my bikes, you'll get there,I'm starting my own channel in spring, My bikes are on RUclips K6man
Put a SC project stubby GP can on mine….I’m now deaf.
Great bike, too bad it's made by the maker with the worst qc in the biz.
If your looking to buy the Aprilia Tuono V4 Factory, do it. It’s literally a no brainer. I just picked up the 21 and it is the smoothest, funnest bike I’ve ever ridden. You can pull power wheelies at 80-100. Winds a little much at 130. I put a Puig windscreen on it and that helps a bit. (Previous street bikes, GSXR 600, MT07, KTM 690). I was bored of the smaller bikes and didn’t ride much. I thought that I would regret selling my GSXR 6 because I like the canyons out here in Napa. But the Tuono carves just as well as the GSXR. That torque is to die for. The only con is it cost. But you get what you pay for.
"All paths lead to the TUONO!" - Me 😆 Great vid, as always.
1000 miles logged on my 2021 Tuono and loving every second of it. Already exhaust/tune and a handful of other mods.
How are you liking the experience after 6 months? How’s the seating position?
Just got hit by a truck in Austin and my 15 Rsv4 RF is totaled and I’ve been eyeing this bike for my next ride
I got 18 factory last june, was my dream bike and still is. Love my tuono. Arrow exhaust and race ecu.
Tuono has been my fav sounding bike. the v4 fly-by sounds amazing
My dad picked up a 21 Tuono factory and after riding it I fell in love. Went and bought a 2020 Tuono misano edition!
Recently bought a titanium exhaust and race ECU for mine. Nothing else like it!!
It's that low down torque. That gives you access to the power at lower speeds. It's probably why you find it fun to ride around the city. That bike is no toy. It's an absolute weapon.
It will put a smile on your face, but without respect it will kill you. Great engine. Smooth as silk and that V4 howl.
Because of the riding position its easy to be fooled into a false sense of security. Don't though, you're on a sportsbike really.
If I had the money and I had to choose one bike to do everything it's going to be the Tuono. A few tweeks and they can do everything with ease.
Amazing description
@IAMMRLIMA Thanks man. I hope you think its accurate?
@@sleepindragon179 ohhh yeahhhhh very veryyy
How would you compare this to rsv? I can’t decide which one to get
I rode a tuono v4 1100rr last summer and I still think about it all the time.
I am riding a 2018 Aprilia Tuono V4 Factory 1100 and this is the best ever bike out there!
I have just put a deposit down on the 2022 Ultra Dark model and I can't f....in wait for this bike 🔥🔥🔥
Love that you included the love for the Street trippel 765 RS! I loved that bike 2!!! Testing the Tuono V4 tomorrow. Lets hope its the bike id always dreamed it would be! im Excited!!! That V4 sound!!!!
When you remove the butterfly cables from the rsv4 it's way better down low.a slip on adds 8hp
Best sounding bike. Stock exhaust fine
honestly u already know ur getting the tuono my fam, i am happy and supportive
thanks
Huge fan from india, mate! Love your vids and your way of providing insights into any specific machine! Cheers! 👌🏻
Power delivery is so good although they turned down 1st and 2nd gear on the 2021 the audio was great too
What about when you replace the exhaust/can and so get rid of the catalyst? Probably with a little ecu tune too but then I guess it will be more powerful too. But I can't imagine this V4 lacks power lol.. It's true that Ducati V4r or Kawa ZH2 are even more powerful or lighter but who needs that really, and with a naked bike it will pull up quickly anyway.
I got an '07 Tuono with the Rotax 1000cc v twin and it's glorious. Absolutely love my tuono and the new ones are fantastic as well!
Starting at the top and working your way down. I'm curious to see how the ATF fits your riding style.
I mean, you got a R1 and a BMW S1K. You don't necessarily need another supersport because you already havebas good as it gets outside of a Ducati V4. That's where I think this bike could settle in, you can get the V4 experience but in a naked bike.
Great bike for every use! Greetings from Italy 🇮🇹💪
Nice!
Can i suggest you look into GPZ900R's?
They're very popular in Japan, many customizations available, but barely anyone outside of Japan does it.
I have one in Europe, and am planning to changing it a lot.
Would be an awesome custom build series!
8:25 to 8:28 HAY! Look at that! It's the TFC Building (on the left), Man It's been almost a year sense I've been on that project. I don't miss the hour and a half It took me to get there every day. Screw Austin traffic. oh and I guess the bike is cool.
I have a zH2 and that tuono is the only thing that’ll get me off the zH2
Tuono is an awesome bike. Try an mt10(sp if you can) as they are awesome too. Both were my favorites but I chose the mt10 because of price and dealer support in my area.
Mt10 is my next bike, great street bike
I understand what you're saying I'm in the same situation I'm in Connecticut we have no dealer here in the state we have Yamaha Honda and Suzuki I think I slightly disagree with you with the M10 it's a nice bike but man for 15800 I'm going to either Massachusetts and New York to get this bike I think it's worth it
Sold to the man with a big grin and far away look in his eyes !
I want one so bad but I don’t wanna give up my fz10 for it!
My friend has a Aprilia RSV4, I love the sound and ride. But duude! It’s always in the shop.
What year? 2016+ is a very reliable bike, even the previous years were pretty reliable, my 2013 RSV4 has been awesome, beat on it daily, hasn’t had not 1 issue
As well as my Friends 2017 RSV4 RR has been reliable, had a Issue with the Auto Blipper, got that fixed and it’s been great
His is a 2019 Sorry
My 16 rf has never been in the shop ,better than the Ducati maintenance program
Beautiful! This thing also sounds absolutely insane with an aftermarket system, easily my favorite naked bike at the moment! With the newer MT09
ps: I live in Europe so the 09 is more than enough in our tight and twisty streets, If I lived in Texas it would be the Tuono no doubt! Only the V4 Streetfighter could come close
I bet the next video be "picking up my new Tuono" 🤣
Houston rider here, got my tuono factory from them, great team AF1 got going on!
Hey buddy I live in Houston, trying to find a Tuono. You picked up yours from AF1 Austin? How do you maintain the bike since there isn’t a dealer in Houston?
@@ridewithjamal3356 I would take the bike to V1moto for regular stuff, and then just ride or drive the bike to af1 for the 6k services.
@@ferdelance7474 ugh man I really want this bike but I would hate riding it that far! I’m debating between this and new Yamaha mt10 sp. I am really leaning towards Tuono because it’s just so much more than an mt10, but the inconvenience might make me tip over to mt10
Best pound for pound bike on the market. Irrespective of classes/categories. P4P champ.
Yamaha R1 and Aprilia Rsv4 and BMW S1000RR are my top favorite bikes.
Damn it would take me long enough of hard work to get on this type of beast.Even my whole house is not worth that much. But One day I will buy Tuono....One Day
You did ride the Old KTM SDR Gen 1, you should try the latest gen 2022 KTM SDR 1290
I've got an rsv4 great fun best sounding bikes for sure
Did you try the zh2??
Its a bit strangled in the lower rpms without a tune or the race map/race ecu. The sound with a god pipe and the uppdated ecu will send you to motorcykle heaven.
This is brilliant. I'm looking at getting a naked bike This year👍🏼
Seems like a really fun bike to ride
Interesting vid. Ride safe, god bless u.
I enjoy naked bikes..and naked 1000's. my thing is - the transmissions are geared to low top speed. I always say the better bike is to just get a super bike and convert it into a super fighter. you get the power and higher geared transmission which is a better combo imo. ability to switch from a super bike to a naked and then back to a super bike. with a super naked or "hyper naked" that's all you get. sure you can try to convert it into a super bike, but the transmission gearing is limited.
You're talking about the difference between a 300 kph top speed and a 275 kph top speed. Who cares ? How often are you hitting 300 kph ?
@@kw1213 on the mt10 that we were trying to top out, I think we got a 160mph top speed compared to a 185mph top speed on the r1. That's a nice difference in rpms. 160mph on the straights at the track is pretty common for us. so being to hit that in 5th rather than 6th is a huge difference...you're only comparing a top speed, but you fail to think about the other factors that get affected like how often you're going to have to go from 5th to 6th vs a taller geared bike with the same power.
I agree with you 100%, I have a GSXR Hayabusa the problem with that bike is you really can't go anywhere with it the way it's geared I wish it was geared lower naked bikes are much better when they're geared lower you can take advantage of the horsepower on the street you can't take advantage of all the horsepower. Maybe I'll get a bigger rear sprocket
@@adobomoto I hate the R1 crotch rocket so uncomfortable I love naked bikes so much better much more comfortable lower gearing take advantage of the power on the streets and have fun
How’s the wind at 100mph?
You should do a first ride on a new xsr900!! I’d love to see what you think about them.
Which did u enjoy more the tuono or the superduke???
Was that Killa cam???
I want one but we don't have a dealer in Connecticut
My favourite bike I’ve ever ridden .. but I don’t own one yet
Keep up the good work homie💯
Did you find the seating position more comfortable than the Street Triple? Also, do you find it as nimble or easy to ride around town as the Street Triple??
RSV4 Airbox and Velocity stacks help with power, and make it smoother, Spark Grid O exhaust and Gabro up map, you have a perfect machine, I’d also get rid of the bars and do Clip on Risers
Yea man love the content and how ur only one who do video of bikes and more man keep it up
This one or the Super Duke?
I literally bought one today
Ok, for ripping on 183A to work and back and track days at cota. S1000RR or tuono v4F?
For track I recommend the S1000RR, but the Aprilia is much more comfy for street riding.
@motonosity what would to recommend to use as a phone mount on my 2015 Z1000? Iv been looking into ram mounts which is what I’m thinking of going with but also am having a hard time choosing the location of the mount, not a huge fan on the handle bar and I seem very limited other wise. Any suggestions?
Aprilia….FTW!!!!!
hyped for the tuono content
The gearing on 2021 Tuono is 15/42 Factory 15/40 Base Model so base model is a faster bike with more wind protection. I bought the base model 5th December & did 4,000 kilometres b4 xmas vids here ruclips.net/video/kd1ugQk6SbU/видео.html
CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTION.
So I have a yamaha 2020 r6 and I just bought a vodoo full system exhaust. I have some people tell me I have to do a custom tune, ecu/ remap and airfilters all this crap. And then the company that sold me the exhaust told me I can install it and be okay because its fuel injected so the fuel will balance out once I put the exhaust etc. I don’t care about the performance As long as it runs like before. I just care about the sound. Now
What should I do? Do I have to tune and do all this crap to the bike. Or can I just plug the new exhaust and go.
Thank you in advance
Just plug and play. You don't need that other stuff. It's fine
2017 R6 owner here.. Get a dyno tune.
Before you buy you need to try the new Super Duke R, and Ducati Streetfighter v2 of v4. Personally the duke just bow me away.
All I heard was "I like riding naked in the city"
Amazing
You should test ride a Ducati SFV4S
You should try the Kawasaki z h2
What camera are you using ? What's the setting ?
❤️😍
There's a difference between a liter bike and a non-liter bike.
The 2020 model looks alot better to be honest
No offense bro, but u keep passing trucks on the right, you might get swatted like a bug. Just speaking from experience
I dont see how a few light plastic fairings could make a bike that much "worse" than a naked.
Yeah im biased because i like faired bikes, but still. I think its 90% in the perception, because you get the full wind on your body and see the ground through the dashboard, thats why it "feels" faster and more nimble, but in reality its not more than a few pounds of weight difference. Same engine same suspension same everything as a faired bike in the same class, minus plastic.
Has nothing to do with weight, it's all about the handle bar and body position that makes it more nimble at lower speeds as well as the gearing which gives it more low end power.
🔥😍🔥
Where is this a naked?
You should ride the Ducati hypermotard
I can't believe you let that guy get away @ 3:35 . Your video would have been far more entertaining if you had made a concerted effort to catch up to that guy. I mean you were on the bike to do the job no less.
That is how you die on a bike.
ffs again a beautiful aprilia but no aftermarket exhaust 😭 mannn u NEED to ride a v4 or a 660 with an exhaust once
Bitwarden is way better 😬
It’s a v4. Of course it’s toasty
Go ahead and get one, don't waste your time testing other Hyper naked bike 😂
I bought the 2021 Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 E5 (non-factory) ruclips.net/video/kd1ugQk6SbU/видео.html
3rd comment…woohooooo.
Let’s go for a ride…..!!
