Hey, nice vid. What is the difference between this model and 2022? Becasue 2022 Factory has a much nicer color scheme .... INMO. Is there something noticeable different, please?
Aprilia don't change much in between the years... 2016 was probably the first of the newer generation... 2017/2018 had new colours, nicer dash and blipper; 2019 got semi-active suspension... 2020/2021 they changed the looks and upgraded electronics... the moment you see the newer fairing (2020/2021) they're 99.9% the same as the subsequent years, just different colour schemes... (RR vs Factory is of course always a bit different in the suspension area, and since the newest gen the RR is also a bit different in handlebar, passenger seat, windscreen etc)
You can tell it needs a front fender extender, if not your radiator will be destroyed, saw a rock hit the engine and cracked the engine case, ride ended and oil all over the road.😢
What are you comparing this bike to? As usual, when it comes to this bike, there's lots of gushing and praise, with very little insight. For example, how does this compare to the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS? It's okay to love this bike, but everything I hear about it makes it seem as if all of the other bike makers in this segment might as well close up shop, because this bike is unbeatable.
my gf had a S1000R for 4 years while I had the Tuono 2016... The S1000R is nigh perfect: stable, excellent build quality, the semi-active suspension worked well, front brake was very sharp (at least on the road)... IMHO it was 99.9% perfect, objectively. But the perfection, linear acceleration and raspy-metallic exhaust sound got boring very quickly. I'm on a 2023 Tuono now and had an RSV4 in between... The Aprilias NEVER get boring and the exhaust note keeps giving people eargasms. I let a friend (experienced racer and rider) ride both back to back... and on the 3rd part of our trip I let him choose which bike to ride back to my place: he didn't hesitate for a seconde: 'let me ride the Tuono!!' ; If you buy with your brain, the S1000R is probably the very best choice

I love love the aprilia sound so much. But I heard the reliability isn’t very good. I have 3 friends with aprilia’s and they are always in the shop. It felt great to ride tho with all the rider aids but man I just can’t purchase one. But I do have a R1 and I love it. It’s the greatest bike I probably owned. ❤
I can't speak for everyone but I've got several thousand miles on my 22 v4 factory with no issues and I ride it decently hard. I also do all of the service myself. One area to be careful of is the oil drain plug and it's essential to torque that properly but everything should be torqued properly anyway.
I bought a Tuono V4 Factory and had nothing but problems with it for the first couple weeks. Shocking, really. Hurts me to watch videos like these because it IS such an amazing bike (and the sound is best, hands-down). But I couldn't deal with the poor reliability and sold it.

Did you ever take it out of Turing mode?
How does it compare to the naked CBR1K you did?
You can tell it needs a front fender extender, if not your radiator will be destroyed, saw a rock hit the engine and cracked the engine case, ride ended and oil all over the road.😢
i've lost the temp license plate first time I picked up my bike. Didn't last but 30 miles
Heeey!!! That's where I go!!!!
Your buddy needs a course on body- and feet position...
That sound!!! Think I came
Can u ask about the known oil leak is it covered
This or a SFV4 non S?
How you find it against a mt10sp
SOOOOOO when you gonna review the Ruroc track helmets? LOL
Nice
How do you think this compares to the S1000R?
my gf had a S1000R for 4 years while I had the Tuono 2016...
That is the bike for sure....nuthin but nuthin but sweetness.....get rid my duke 890 r for one of these soon
I had 890R unfortunately I wrote it off a month after getting the Tuono. Vids on my channel.
I hear ya....it was a starter bike no regrets
@@kirkdunn1379 Nah, I've been riding for more than 40 years - first on road accident, hit a rough patch of road accelerating uphill doing 90-100Mph had a tank slapper n high side.
@@DukeOfTwist I meant for me it was, raced MX and dez since early 70s...so new to street but not to motorcycles......quite a few injuries myself but street can be spooky wit speeds.....what ya do, can't sit on the couch and rot
@@kirkdunn1379 I decided to buy a couple Tuono's as Track bikes after my accident a '04 V2 thou & a '14 V4 thou so I can go fast there & improve my cornering for the road. Also I go Drag Racing on my '21 V4 1100 just crack my 1st 10 second pass today - I'll post vids soon on my channel.
The fact they say douglasville is Atlanta lmao 😂😂
I love love the aprilia sound so much. But I heard the reliability isn’t very good. I have 3 friends with aprilia’s and they are always in the shop. My friends aprilia was in the shop for 3 months due to a oil leakage. My other friends aprilia is busted due to his ecu 🤷🏻 there is always something wrong with their bikes. It felt great to ride tho with all the rider aids but man I just can’t purchase one. But I do have a R1 and I love it. It’s the greatest bike I probably owned. ❤
I think they really fell off in reliability after they went with the V4 from the Rotax V60 twin
That sucks. I've had zero issues with my 2019 Tuono Factory so far. I hope it stays that way.
@@Claimjumper55 Very nice bikes to ride tho. But it’s always something
