    Cool video, My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her.

      Very interesting when you think about what one's "purpose" in life might be. I've heard it said in spiritual circles that to heal is to make happy. The perfection and brilliance of his show certainly did that for many, many millions of people, for some segment of time. Jerry certainly seems to have found his true "calling", always seems like a decent guy who doesn't get into any trouble, and has ultra clean comedy style that pretty much can't offend anybody apart from stupid people!

      There's some good advice to be followed in Marcus Aurelius' Meditations, for example, but don't get too hung up on stoicism, because that's not completely healthy either. Sometimes you really need to express your anger and other powerful emotions if you don't want it to build up inside and literally get sick at some point, which has been proven for decades by studying the connection between body and emotions, and how cancer and autoimmune diseases appear, in most cases.
      Stoicism without therapy is pretty much bottling everything inside, which is a bad idea if you're not in control of your emotional state.

    Jerry, I'm 62 year old homeless vet. And i watch a lot of videos, because I love to learn.
    Like you, i feel younger than i am. Like you, i didn't work after covid for 2 years. I just started exercising 9 months ago. I couldn't walk half a block.
    Exercising, weight training has been my savior. ( my depression is still here, and unlike you i want to not live, but at least I'm physically healthy). Working out is my meditation. I can squat and deadlift very heavy weights because I focus on one simple thing at a time. I do meditate and have taught others. I also do yoga.
    I love how you interview. You do it with humor, mindfulness and with Sincereness. At least that is what i have observed.
    Thank you. I will read up on stoicism. I have read a bit on saint Thomas Aquinas, Buddhism, and others.
    In prison, my friends said to me," is anyone shooting at you?"
    This question is like your current philosophy. If no one is shooting at you, don't worry. Just move on to the next thing.
    Be blessed and Shalom.😊

In fact, it is the best time of every day. And I agree with what Jerry said, if you want to be happy and be your best self, TM is the best tool in life. PS: he started when he was 19 and has been doing it ever since...good luck and good health just seem to come your way when you do it.

    • @johns7530
      @johns7530 6 дней назад +2

      @@changingworld7467 Jerry never speaks about it, but I wonder if he has ever considered the metaphysical benefits to it. Meaning, being in the right place at the right time, how harmoniously all the right people came together for that show. That's not to say he did not work really hard in addition, or that he had everything handed to him... not at all. I'm just saying, that Jungian "synchronicities" seemed to happen more with me when I meditated, and I can see how someone like Seinfeld benefited in unseen ways that go beyond what we typically think of as cause/effect benefits of TM.

      His "comedians in cars" episode with Michael was really memorable. You can really tell how much he suffered for and was haunted by his mistake, how genuinely sorry he was, and how difficult it has been for him to get past the shame, guilt, and public backlash he experienced from that. A lesson in self forgiveness, and the injustice of sometimes paying mercilessly and 10 thousand fold for a mistake as simple as letting anger get the better of you for just a few seconds.

I appreciate my life a lot more because of Seinfeld's insight. I really do and I want him to know that I do relate to his experiences. He is a very beautiful man with countless words of wisdom he shares with us. And to be frank we should listen to what his lips are saying. He's done so much for the world. Thanks to him. I skipped my breakfast lol. This man is a treasure. He speaks his mind and he says it as he lives it. There's no better way to taste organic product than to listen to this men's wisdom and advice. Also the folks making this interview happened are appreciated for their contribution and are given the opportunity to make more like these. Thank you soo much for this. A very frank & truthful interview by Jerry. Thank You Bro!!! As a stand up myself I always looked up to Jerry, because he was so clean & creative. A friend of mine opened up for him back in the late 80’s (At Mr. Rips in Spring Valley, NY-Remember Mr. Rips Jerry?) I was very envious of him as I would’ve liked that gig myself. Anyway our paths never directly crossed & the show soon came out & he took off. I was a regular at Dangerfield’s & he never played there. Alas, most of my friends in comedy have passed as it is a tough lifestyle, but myself like Jerry-we keep going. Even though I’m not regularly doing stand-up anymore I think about comedy all the time & think about funny stuff. I’m looking forward to Jerry’s MooVee-Unfrosted!!! It looks like it will be pretty funny as people from our generation will relate to it (Jerry & I are about the same age). Regardless of the reviews I’m sure I’ll love it❤️❤️❤️❤️. Keep on keepin’ on Jerry as in these horrific political times we all need to laugh more than ever!!!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

    As a daily meditator and is my #1 activity..... I would like to talk to Jerry about it and if he limits his meditations to 20 mins as they do in TM. Would recommend to try meditating as long as you can without straining.... 1 hour becomes a short meditation and longer feels so nice! • @marymagdalene3004
      @marymagdalene3004 9 дней назад

      @@lynnturman8157 Sit upright, but not rigidly so; keep feet flat on the floor. (May need pillow behind you to support back and/or to allow feet to rest comfortably flat on the floor.) Close eyes and consciously relax your entire body; breathe in deeply and breathe out long (put lips together and push air out through the closed lips); do this about 20 to 30 times. Your body will start to feel relaxed. Then, start repeating your mantra silently to yourself. If you have no mantra (say from a TM ceremony), try repeating something like: "shiva om," or other spiritually enriched words that resonate with you. Keep silently repeating, in your own mind, that mantra or those spiritually comforting words. In the beginning try doing meditations for at least 20 minutes and then increase to 50 minutes or longer, if you feel so inclined. Best is around 50 - 60 minutes of meditation. Sometimes you are really in the zone and meditations can go on for much longer than one hour.

    i was able to medidate in 2012 ( around the Eurocup , i remember) . Stopped drinking any alcohol, stopped taking a benzo i was becoming dependent. Just made myself relax and meditate at night and, during the day, tried to be as relaxed as possible, paying attention to breathing, muscle tension, focus, etc, went to bed early, woke up early. After a few weeks i attained a state of relaxation that was pure bliss. My mind was super focused, i was seeing more intense colours and more defined shapes, i was hearing more clearly, thinking with more clarity, solving problems with much more ease. Then some personal problems came up, anxiety slowly build up and i was back to my old standard anxious self. I thought to myself that was not too big a problem, cause i had learned how to do it and i would be able to come back to it. Well, its 2024, i still havent been able to attain that level of relaxation again
