But can Jerry's coffee table book BECOME a coffee table?? If it can I'm sold.
I see what you did there......
Hey, you know what would make a great coffee table book? A coffee table book about coffee tables!
I laughed so hard at your post I choked on the black and white cookie I was eating.
It can if he hires Kramer to do it.
I knew this comment would have already been made.
.. criticism of Israel, does NOT equal antisemitism
I was about 24 years old, at night hanging on the west side, can’t remember where exactly in NYC but I saw Jerry and dashed over to him and said, “Hi Jerry, I love Seinfield!” Like he’s never heard THAT before.. he smiled and said, thanks so much and gave me an autograph. He was wonderful… ❤ I’ll never forget the encounter because I was so nervous but he was “normal.”
Great! What year was that?
I had the pleasure of seeing him perform at a college in Terre Haute many years ago. It was such an amazing show. I laughed so much that night. I'll never forget it.
I do love this man, and his imagination is so led by constantly thinking about every LITTLE WORD, AND HOW PEOPLE LOOK, SAY AND REACT TO THOSE LITTLE WORDS. Jerry microscopically dissects everything about us and loves to pull it all apart, and tells each of us how funny we act as people. His mind is a whirlwind of brilliance ❤🌀
They think VERY high of themselves but they don’t think as highly about the rest of us. I mean, imagine you believed that you were in a group of Gods chosen and everyone else isn’t. That must do something psychologically to a person.
What about the rise in antiwhiteism?
No one cares obviously.
Jerry is a national treasure, I was in high school during the height of Seinfeld and it was the best sitcom ever!
I love all good comedy. All good comedy is funny, but some sparks conversation, some sparks debate, some sparks controversy and some sparks unity. Seinfeld has always been a comedian that unites. In this world we need that now more than ever. I could just watch this man order coffee and be endlessly entertained for hours.
I'm not going to unite with people who want me dead.

It's easy to relate to Jerry's ''I wanna be one of those guys.'' comment. 🥋
Well it’s always good to practice things, we’re never to old to practice doing something
But remember one thing, I don’t want you to do it because you want to be like someone else

I hate the Michael Richards issue. I mean, one moment of unfiltered anger of being heckled, lost a career and then some years later you see the most vile president ever, being ACTUALLY racist for many decades, and a lot of proof Stuff like: Where's my black guy, do you see my black guy in the crowd? Always bringing up intelligence when talking about most women or most black people. Making it look as if all black people know each other, while not specifically racist, his reasoning to put it that way is. Wanting a special episode of black vs white in he Apprentice. Then of course the rental housing and black people, birth certificate of Obama and other stories. His base (not all Republicans, thankfully) love him being racist. It makes them feel like they can then call everyone the N word in their little chat fora they have left.

jerry seinfeld really is the master of social everything, the guy is just naturally a people person which is part of why ive always loved the irony of the show

I like this Jerry. Very human. They both really clicked wish it was longer.
Very human but not 100%
I was going to say "Wow, Jerry finally looks like he's aging. He must be in his late 50s". Then I looked it up. THIS MAN IS ALMOST 70 YEARS OLD. HOW DOES HE DO THAT?
The type comedy Seinfeld is famous for reminds me of a guy named Brian Regan. Seinfeld's delivery is much more subtle and less physical (funny faces and the like), but both comics are completely CLEAN. I can't emphsize that enough. For those of you old enough, Red Skelton comes to mind. Competely clean and HILARIOUS! My family and I saw him at John Ascualegga's (sp?) Nugget in Reno, Nevada in the 70's. Skelton was so funny that my face literally hurt and was sore after his performance from smiling or laughing so much. To make me laugh, someone HAS to be funny, and without any of the vulgarities. 🤣
Jerry sidesteps any serious question. He never gives away his actual thoughts. I understand why

Baldwin was hilarious and ridiculous. He was as funny as any good improv comedian. What Baldwin did in that show was....show how clever and amusing he could be. I just have a lot of respect for Jerry Seinfeld. Very good human being.
What makes him a good human being? Name a single thing he has done for other people in need. Just one. Meanwhile he steps over homeless people in NYC while walking to the place where he stores his 100 collector cars. Even in this interview, he wiggles his way out of giving a real answer about the rise of antisemitism. Oh, and he pursued his wife even though he knew she had only recently gotten married and he refused to give his co-stars on Seinfeld (the ones who truly made it a hit) a producer credit so that they could earn a bit more in residuals while he hoards a billion dollars. He may not be evil, but this is a completely self-involved, selfish man.

Antisemitism and other types of bigotry are a product of people with personality disorders, those who need to attack others that they consider different and which makes them feel better about themselves for some bizarre, twisted reason.
