I have an old book of crochet stitches that I bought from a used bookstore over 30 years ago. It has this stitch pattern in it. I have used it many times, mostly for scarves. I've never seen this pattern stitch anywhere else until this video. It is a beautiful stitch pattern.

Thanks for this tutorial. Nice stitch. I'm going to use it for my 2023 temp. blanket. It looks nicer than simple sc or the moss stitch and it's not boring to work. What do you think? (Have a happy, healthy, and safe 2023!)

I've tried this but I have such a hard time seeing the second stitch in the "chain space". Have to keep trying. This is a very good video, don't get me wrong, I just have a hard time.
