Hi Sara(h)! Thanks for this lovely, clear tutorial. If I were to use this yarn and stitch for a 70"x50" throw blanket, about how many skeins would I need? Thank you!
When I follow your instructions and have an even number of base stitches (I used foundation SC) of 32, when I crochet the hdc in the first stitch as instructed, the numbers don't come out right and I end up with an extra stitch at the end of the row.
Tried to find the written pattern, using the link you have listed, and it can't be found. Tried to do a search for it, also it can't be found. Do you have another link for it?? Beautiful stitch!
I think it would work on a round. May have to adjust if pattern has an odd number of stitches. Just add or subtract a stitch to make it an even number. This stitch would make a nice and warm beanie!
