Thanks for watching! Ya I love the waters down here but would definitely like to try some of that Marsh fishing y'all got. Checked out your latest video. Good stuff man! Just subbed
That spot has been really productive for us when the temps drop and the tide is low. Only piece of slightly deeper water everything around it is like 1ft or less
At SPI you can launch right at the end of the causeway, near the convention center, isla Blanca park, boat ramp on Polaris. Those are the ones I know of

This place is amazing, Congratulations, beautiful *Fishing.* Have a very successful week! hug!!!!!!!!!!!👍🎣🐠
Thanks! Im absolutely loving the kayak! I find myself going out to fish alot more because of it. The day I fished for this video the tide was incredibly low though so I wasn't able to use the drive. Paddles fine though 👍
I’m comin to south Padre the second week of August is there a way I can get ahold of you privately to get some tips and info? I’ve never gotten a chance to redfish so I’m just looking for any tips I can get. Thanks
I’m on Instagram and Facebook under mesquite outdoors! Feel free to send me an IM. I haven’t been out I a few months but I’ll try and point you in the right direction
Just my opinion, no offense. I think you have your drag too tight, at 7 min, you horsed that red in too quick, good way to lose a fish. Nice fishing by the way.
Hey thanks for watching! Ya the drag might've been a little too tight. I definitely tightened it down more cause I was in that close quarters environment. Usually fish open flats so I might have over done it a bit haha.
Thanks for watching! Had a blast catching them reds! Ya drag was a little tight on that reel. Tightened down cause of how tight we were in between those mangroves. I'll loosen it back up next time so we'll get more screaming drag action!
Nice video! So gorgeous down in South Padre! Better looking than our dirty muddy waters.
