That was discussed among us to use 90mm shocks, but we just have not done it yet. Good to know that it makes a difference though! Thank you 😊 and thank you for watching and supporting 🫶
In my opinion the absolute number one first addition required is a driver figure. Call me old but when i started RC car racing a driver figure was mandatory. In an open top truck it is plan silly to have a truck moving without a driver,in my opinion. Another easy upgrade is to move the lower shock mounts down to the links.
I’ve got 3 rigs with the Fusion motors in them. 2 pro 2300 and 1 se 1200. Pro can make your rig tumble like a tumbleweed. But I like having the speed for when you need to climb a dirt slope and you have to keep the forward momentum going. Have a great weekend!
I agree, the SE is plenty for any crawler usually and for the most part, but sometimes speed is needed so i really don't feel like you can go wrong with an SE especially for the price point. Thank you so much for watching 😊
For sure! Have to fix broken parts first, but I think you will love the upgrades I have mentioned. What a difference they really made! 😊 Thanks so much for watching!
@@RCprincess24 well I’ve got it finally and have enjoyed a full week so far of fun wheeling and you are right I love it ! I am already pondering some upgrades 🤓

Love how that Warn Winch looks! I put 90mm shocks on my CJ7. Rides a little bit lower and helps to reduce rollovers.

@@williamjohnson1104 O I'm so glad you have been enjoying it! 😊 It is a very nice nostalgic rig for sure!
How did your dad mount his winch?
He mounted it with the mounting plate that comes with it and a few screws into the bumper. 😊
