Just a heads up, you're supposed to remove the sauces containers before heating the food up.
Been using Factor meals since my wife was diagnosed with Leukemia one year ago. She’s all better now but the convenience and taste of the meals keeps us ordering them.
Wouldn’t let me use the code but ordered anyway waiting for them to come in the mail still
Dennis I found a plum crazy purple hemi challenger
Dennis, you're always a class act! I love the show and the food part is just the cherry on top!
Keep it a base model. Originality is not seen that much and that is what will make this baby shine.
I would take it back to base. I purchased a new 1983 Jeep CJ 7 , 258 6 cyl, 5 speed, hardtop with PS but no PB. Keep it 4 years. It is the only vehicle I ever regretted selling, still have all of the original paperwork. Keep us posted.
Good Saturday Morning Dennis n Coffee Çrew from the home of the Jeep. Toledo,Ohio. Outstanding find. AND yes hard to find thàt rust free. Especially here in the rust belt. I found a 77 Renegade CJ5 back in 1980. It came with a blonde that was on the water polo team at Ohio State. We sold it to buy an 84 full size Bronco when we started. I replaced it in 96 after kid #5 with an 78 5..that is in our restoration rotation...Keep up the great content... You can go back home it is just stupid expensive....Emmy
Keeping the paperwork makes the car less desirable to the next person. It's like the spare key hoarders. But when I get a car with both spare keys and paperwork with it, I seem to respect it more. I've gone through a few cars this year alone just like that. 1 key, no owners manual, tool kit missing from trunk. Just made me want to get rid of them even quicker
I'd leave it as a base model-they're not seen very often and usually get customized with oversize tires, lift kits.Nice to see one like this.
I think that's what they're doing.
For the Dallas-Fort Worth locals: Jim Allee was a dealer in Dallas for a couple of decades and he sold Jeep, Honda, Oldsmobile and Volkswagen. He died in 1983. His widow, Henri Allee, took over running the dealerships with her son Rusty Wallis. Later, the remaining dealerships were renamed Rusty Wallis in the late 90s and they are still there on IH-635 in Garland.
I remember those days. Back in 2000 when I was just a sophomore, I went up to Rusty Wallis (lived in Rowlett at the time) to test drive the then New, Civic SI in electron blue. I had a great salesman that let me take it down Northwest Hwy at high speed. Those were the good ole days!
I'm not a Jeep guy but can appreciate them. If I had the choice I'd leave it the base model and LEAVE the carb on it!! We have technology today that can make them run and operate better than new!
Base, Base, BASE would be AWESOME!!!
Keep it a base model. I'm getting "older" so I'd add the power steering and EFI.
I am with you. Base model. I see less of them around. P/S and EFI for sure. Yes...l am getting old to. Wow...have not heard the Jim Alle name in years.
I agree, power steering and brakes. Think I’d keep the wheels and tires that are on it, or similar. The original steelies don’t do it for me.
I miss my 83 CJ7 every day since I sold her when we were starting a family. Been regretting it ever since!
My 83 is also a base model with 6 cyl, T4, low back buckets and power steering from factory. 11,000 mile RED survivor. And it's a Scrambler. 😊
Keep it original. My great uncle had a Army surplus jeep from long ago and he only used it to go over a little crick bridge, that's what we called it(crick) to go out in the woods two doors down from where I grew up. Always ran and garage kept. He's been gone now since the 70s. Loved that jeep and our little bridge that my Great Uncle built.
I had a 76 Renegade with a 304 three speed, no power steering or brakes. It had lowback seats and no carpet, but had a back seat.
Thanks for another good episode. We all appreciate your hard work and the whole team's efforts every week to give us these video's. I think it would be cool to keep the Jeep as a base model.
Given a vote, I vote for going the "Base / original" route. My CJ5 was pure stock with plain white wheels and every time I look at old pictures of that Jeep it still looks just as perfect, just as functional, just a pretty in it's own way as ever. And truth is, you don't see very many good 'ol plain Jeeps on the road. Every one seems to be decaled up or jacked up, or something. This baby is perfect for being what it was to begin with.
Dennis did you notice the Plates.... 1 JD.. for your good friend JD
Another vote for taking it back to base. I love seeing the base models. The every-man stripped ones that caught the eye of the buyer who said “I don’t need all that, just four wheel drive”. Fun to see.
Go for the Base model
I got my CJ5 when I was 16, which was 34 years ago. It was my daily driver in high school. Nothing wrong with Jeeps for young people. It made me a better driver because I had to learn the limits of the vehicle.
Base, definitely!
You always find the good ones... or they find you! Great Jeep. I'd like to see more updates of past buys and projects in progress at the shop. I know you guys are busy, just always like to see the follow ups. Thanks for what you do.
Nice find,
Good video,
I got a kick out of the owner pointing a few upgrades,
" And that's it Dennis"
Then proceeds to say it 4 or 5 more times.
Nice guy though, just caught my ear.
Beautiful CJ! My vote is definitely to get it back to original!!!!
Finally CJ VIDEO!!!!!
i say base just because sometimes its cool to have them the way they came
Keep it base original as possible! That will make it standout! A great JEEP!
I think it looks great just the way it is. I like the wheels and tires that are already on it. I think if you switch back to the plain Jane white wheels, it will look too much like a mail truck. But I would probably add p/s. Thank you for entertaining us
Back to Base
Great idea along with your great coffee and healthy meals you need a vitamin line.
Base, for sure.
The Greatest auto family in the world.
Cannot wait every day.
Coffee walk incredible
😊😅😢🎉😂❤
Got to take it back to base!
This guy is nuts. My best friends first car was a 46 Willis Jeep. We had some fun in that jeep. Had a V8 T4 trans. Midnight Blue with a soft top. Great jeep.
That is a find. Love the color and the fact that it is a clean slate. Power steering and fuel injection would be my preference. I would buff that paint out and have your favorite pin striper lay some old school lines on it. I was in high school in the mid eighties and always wanted a CJ-7. Better late than never I bought a new JK Wrangler Sport in 2016 that was just above the base model with automatic, the 17 inch tire package and air conditioning. I ordered a hard top for the winter months. It now has 62,000 miles on it still looks like new and i will drive it forever.
Dennis. NASA has a bunch of vintage vehicles that they keep around, rotting and such. See if you can nab a few.
Look forward to the show every friday
Would be cool to keep it a base Jeep. Something cool about a simple, bare bones Jeep
I'm with you, even an early Bronco with a 6 cylinder I think is cool now.
More unusual if you keep it base spec...for sure!!!!
off roading in a manual steer Jeep is about as old school as you can get, how i learned back in 76
Let me hold your drivers license was too funny......cool thing about Dennis...he was reaching for it
I think leave it as Base would be nice. I'd even put that original tire cover back on it from when it was new to give it that original look.
Base Jeep is cool but making it the fancier models would make it much cooler imo
One of my favorite vehicles was my 1979 Jeep CJ 7 white hard top, metal doors,no carpet, straight 6. 4 speed, 1st was granny gear, paint was orange. Q panels were all Bondo . I lived in PA at the time. Also it came with white steelies. I installed Rancho shocks, BFGs 31/10.50s on white wagon wheels and a rocken stereo.🏁🏁👍 Kid in our high school drove a golden eagle all winter in PA, topless, brushed snow off his seats after school.
Same table I sit at when I go and have breakfast with the grandson. Don't know if you remember seeing the first Black Rubicon Wrangler Diesel, It doesn't look the same but is a beast off-road!
I still have my first ride witch is a 1974 cj5 , bought it in ment condition for $600
I never thought Factor would bring back Soylent Green ! 😎
I would go back with the stock wheels for driving situations and nostalgia look. Everybody's got big tires on their. Its only original one time. 😊.
Love the intro DC don’t listen to the naysayers Sir!! Coffee Walk Friday best day of the week DC and Crew!!🇺🇸💪🇺🇸💯❤️👍
Base will be outstanding!!!
I would build that into the ultimate Laredo Jeep. If I wasn’t just finishing off our Power Wagon build i’d commission y’all to do it. Beautiful little Jeep good find, Dennis.
Please go laredo!!! My uncle had one when I was a kid and I loved riding in it. I'm now 41 and haven't got to ride in one yet
Turn it back to stock
White steelies and a super detail
Survivor!
I think you should make it into a Renegade it would look really sharp that way. Thanks again for all your hard work on the show and keeping it clean and not all Hamed up like so many other ones.
Base with the white wheels
I would keep it as it is, great show Dennis, you come across as a really nice guy, always very polite to people , I saw you first on gas monkey, and thought it back then. Keep up the good work. Love the show. 👍🏻🖐🏻
Dennis, go base. There aren't enough original base Jeeps in the world. I don't care if it is a Jeep or any other car. People are always upgrading vehicles, but to see an original base vehicle is like a breath of fresh air.
Dennis always treats everyone with such respect. He is always so very friendly too. As the Bible says to have friends you must be friendly.
This would be great taken back to base with only adding power steering.
Thanks Dennis, I'd keep the Jeep as a base model. If you were to add anything, it would be power steering and maybe fuel injection.
Base
y'all need to make a new channel: Dennis Collins Eats - it's a compilation of every restaurant you went to and will go to.
BASE!!!!
Base, love it!
Base - love that color.
That Jeep was Outstanding!
We need some coffee walk shirts with the saying on the back!! Long sleeve and short sleeve.. no pocket!! Definitely WOULD BE OUTSTANDING!!
Great find .. someone is going be very lucky., great jeep., the way it is .✨👍✨
Do it base !
One things for sure Dennis, you know how to eat!!!!
that top actually looks good on that baby!
My uncle bought a 84 or 85 CJ7 base, with the 4 cylinder. Only option was the back seat. He drove it for a year before buying a top. Drove rain and shine.
I vote for going back all base model. My dad would order his CJs pretty much base. His last V8 CJ7 had no fender flares, base wheels with side mounted spare. Was such a cool true real Jeep look.
Good Evening from the Netherlands. For me as a Dutchie this was the Jeep that i wanted in the 90's with the stick. Funny when episode starts talking about how much weight the lost and at the end off the episode eating so much........Was looking good by the way. 🤠 Lucky there is no power steering on it,good work out. 😉Have a nice ride. 😎
I think you may have meant to say AS and not "ASS'" lol 😂
Good Evening. Sorry you are right, working on it. 😀@@davidsantos8206 Have a nice day. 😎
I say leave it like the way it is
Love your videos, but nothing beats a Collins Brothers jeep video
KEEP IT BASE. SIMPLE IS BEAUTIFUL.
Id leave it alone. I like the hard top on the jeeps. It reminds me of those little battery operated "stomper" trucks. Love how you save this jeeps.
Keep it as a base model and the next owner will have a blank slate to work with if he/she decides to add options. 👍
Nice to see an original clean CJ. I think it should be kept as a base model.
Wow. I cant belive a totslly rust free CJ anything. I live in mi and you just dont see these ever. Id probably keep it how it is and just enjoy it. Makes me miss my first jeep. A 93 YJ hard top base model. 2.5cyl, 5spd.
Glad to see someone else like a egg on top from chinese to hamburgers and meatloaf
Base model vote here Dennis.
Learned something new. Two eggs over easy on top of meatloaf. I like trying strange food.
Great find, I like it when the big girls wanna start off with desert..
I’d keep it basic. That’s a great find!! Your knowledge of CJ’s is amazing!! First new vehicle I ever bought was an 86 CJ. Still own it !
Do it up as a base model for sure...but add power steering and put some mud tires on the stock white steel wheels...perfection.
BASE
Dennis, beside cars, Jeeps in particular, you are a foodie....100%.
I bought my daughter a Jeep Wrangler and I didn't like driving it because it did not have power steering and it bounced around so much it felt like I was driving a pogo stick but she absolutely loved it.
Nice homes on that street!
Keep it base, makes it a more interesting Jeep
Man, it always gets me how a Jeep changes once the top and metal doors come on or are swapped with a bikini top, half doors or no doors at all!
Base. Back to factory. But I like vanilla ice cream so plain and purty is my choice. I also vote for you to do the CW episodes just like they are. Perfect.
Well, maybe Outstanding is more appropriate.
another great find, I think this should be put to original with the white steelies and original style tires. they are original once .
Is lovely I’d probably put it back to base
Back to base model 👌
Send me the price as it is!! Love the show!!! Love the Jeep as it is, just need a price and I will pick it up
Base model 🇬🇧
Can't go wrong going to Renegade. Also I think you should put stickers on restaurant doors like you used to do.
Keep it a base model.
I really appreciate the awesome content. Thank you for not swearing. It adds to your channel.
